Bro I have 35% windshield tint on my Ram 1500 and it has made a huge difference. No need to wear sunglasses. I would get mad at people pointing high beams at me - now I don’t even care because it doesn’t bother me.
I got 7% All around and 35% on the windshield!! I don’t have the best eyes and it’s not bad at all driving at night. Get you a good set of good bulbs and your definitely good. Everybody was saying how hard it is or would be to see at night. I don’t see the big deal. It does take some getting use too tho, coming from only having 20% and no windshield tint.
I have… Rear Windshield + Rear Passengers at 5% Front Windshield + Front Passengers at 20% All SunTek CIR Ceramic. On a white 19 Acura TLX in Los Angeles, CA. Wish me luck…
@@BJPLIFESTYLE sweet ima do mines tomorrow is a g37 20 percent all around ceramic and I will do 35 percent in the front shield I was debating between 30 and 35percent you help me decide
Looks great, bud. Just a couple questions if you don't mind: 1. Have you had any issues with your auto headlamps and/or auto high beams due to the tinted windshield (coming on early or not working at all) ? 2. Any issues with "silvering" around the edges of the windshield due to the tint not adhering to the black dot matrix? 3. Any issues driving at night now that you've had it for awhile? 4. Did you put 20% over the factory rears also? Thanks, man. Love your vids!
Sorry for the late reply - 1. The auto high beams might be a little funky, no issues with the normal auto lights. 2. On my new SRT I have it around the top of the dot matrix, never had an issue on either of my other vehicles though. 3. No issues at night i'm on my third 35% windshield and the back glass is all factory 20%
Hi I know this is an older video but did you post what the 35% looks like at night? I heard you say in your video you would show it, but I didn’t catch it. Is it ceramic? Thank you!!
@@BJPLIFESTYLE i recently had lasik and I've heard you can get a dr note basically from the eye dr saying you can have darker than legal tint. I go back in March im going to ask about it!
I couldn’t drive two miles in any direction without getting lit up by the local law enforcement. I love and respect our cops, but they don’t tolerate blacked out windows.
Have 18% on the front and 5% on the back half. 35% on the front windshield looks great, I'm going to get it now! And blacking out the back lights on my white limited
Just got a Jeep Grand Cherokee that is almost exactly like yours, it’s probably only small differences. I got 2018, white, same rims, upgraded audio package, black interior.
@@BJPLIFESTYLE Yeah! I'm going to start off with the Crux Motorsports tail light kit you put on yours. Did you get outer and inner? If so what option for each?
A local shot won't tint my Wk2 saying this generation has a computer under the dash and they have had some customers experienced water damage after windshield tint. HAve you had any issue after the tint?
Have this issue going on now not sure what I should do but my car is saying it’s not in Park which it is. But my local tint shop said it’ll dry after a while
Great videos, keep them coming. I bought a new 2021 JGC laredo X, and I love it. I think I might have an idea for your filling gas tank without turning nozzle upside down. I tried an experiment when filling mine to try to duplicate what was happening with yours and found out when I held the nozzle in an upward position towards the sky, it kept clicking off. When I push the nozzle downward toward the ground, it pumped fine. Try on yours with different angles and force and once you find out what works best, then you won't feel like an idiot holding it upside down anymore. PEACE!!!!
Just got my 5.7 yesterday it's a 75th anniversary idk how I feel about the bronze but was planning to do the same stuff as u with the black trim eventually.
It's illegal here in California to and we still do it, we dgaf. Everyone say California strict with car laws but that ain't true. LAPD dgaf bout tint lol

I went from not having to no tint to 5% all around and 35% windshield and at first I couldn’t see but my eyes just got used to it so I got no regrets
I just got my windshield tinted at 50% I love it not too dark and not too light
Nice!!

I had just got it done. Thanks for the video, btw. Helped decide to do windshield tint…
I have more than a couple questions 😂,
1. Do you have 20% tint all around?
2. Is 35% only in the front?
3. Also what type of wrap did you purchase?
Yeah 20% all around and 35% on the windshield!
@@BJPLIFESTYLE sweet ima do mines tomorrow is a g37 20 percent all around ceramic and I will do 35 percent in the front shield I was debating between 30 and 35percent you help me decide
Yours looks good is it ceramic , I have 35% on the windshield and 20% on the rest of the windows

Hey do you think 15 percent all around & 35 in Windshield will look good ?
Definitely! I was going to do that on my new car but my tint guy doesn't do 15
Come to the Carolinas and we put 5% on the windshield
😳😳😳
That's crazy!
I have 20% on my windshield 35% wasn’t dark enough for me.
I have 20% on my truck and 35% on my Durango with shitty headlights I would have done 20 again if they weren’t so bad ahha
20% on the windshield definitely looks better lol
My state (IL) only allows 70% on the windshield (which is only 5% tint). Still think I should do it? If for nothing else, nighttime.
It’s up to you lol Depends on if it’s worth the risk where you are!
70% is a clear film not sure who said its 5%? 70% Ceramic Full Windshield will help keep the interior cooler but you don't see it's there.
I've got a white overland with 20% all the way around except the windshield, i think im going to get 35 on it, yours looks bad ass.
Thanks! It really completes the look I’d go for it if you’re not afraid of the cops lol
@@BJPLIFESTYLE i recently had lasik and I've heard you can get a dr note basically from the eye dr saying you can have darker than legal tint. I go back in March im going to ask about it!
Yeah you can! If you’re able to get it definitely do
Can i get mine dark like that with a medical exemption?
I couldn’t drive two miles in any direction without getting lit up by the local law enforcement. I love and respect our cops, but they don’t tolerate blacked out windows.
Yeah most around me don’t mind!
It really isnt any of their business
Thank you dude! It was great meeting you
You as well, the tint came out great!
Have 18% on the front and 5% on the back half. 35% on the front windshield looks great, I'm going to get it now! And blacking out the back lights on my white limited
Good choice! I think it's just enough to work at night without any issue.
Just got a Jeep Grand Cherokee that is almost exactly like yours, it’s probably only small differences. I got 2018, white, same rims, upgraded audio package, black interior.
Good choice! So many mods to do now lol
@@BJPLIFESTYLE Yeah! I'm going to start off with the Crux Motorsports tail light kit you put on yours. Did you get outer and inner? If so what option for each?
Yeah it’s the combo pack, I have a video on my channel. Gloss black outside & 20% dark smoke on the inner part
@@BJPLIFESTYLE Ah cool cool. Thanks
A local shot won't tint my Wk2 saying this generation has a computer under the dash and they have had some customers experienced water damage after windshield tint. HAve you had any issue after the tint?
I personally haven't had any issues like that, I also know a few people with WK2s that have tinted windshields that are fine.
Have this issue going on now not sure what I should do but my car is saying it’s not in Park which it is. But my local tint shop said it’ll dry after a while
@@nojad7027 could you keep me posted
Some of the Dodges have issues when water drops down on the ecu. The shops should know how to cover it for the chance it could get wet.

Appreciate the love!!
I have double 5 all around and 20 on the windshield you get use to driving with dark tint after a while it’s not that hard to see in my opinion.
Idk how you see out of that! On back roads at night it's like a wall where my headlights end with 35%
@@BJPLIFESTYLE sometimes i do have to roll my windows down a little to let some light in 😭 but other than that i have some bright headlights.
i had 20 for over a year but it started driving me nuts and i ripped it off. nice to be able to be seen from the front again.
Can you please tell me how much of a tint i need to be able to cover the windshield? Like from X to Y inches 🤔
measure ur car windshield
@@jasonu8571 lol i dont have a wk2
How did you get the led interior lights?
looks great man ! been wanting to do mine for a while
Took me forever to get it done, but it looks so good lol
You didn't show it at night? The place that did my side tint does 42% on the windshield. I'm thinking about it.
There’s a clip of before and after during the day as well as at night in the video! I think the 35% looks good
Just got my 5.7 yesterday it's a 75th anniversary idk how I feel about the bronze but was planning to do the same stuff as u with the black trim eventually.
Congrats on the new car! Black everything out lol
Can’t get windshield tinted here in California smh 🤦♀️ only a strip
Just do it 😂😂
@@BJPLIFESTYLE 😂 nah . Just got a speeding ticket two weeks ago. I’m laying low
Finally bro! Makes the whole truck look better💯
It really does!
Looks nice! Going to get mine done also
Do it!!
what does the assist button on the rearview mirror and what does it do?
I think they’re all onstar buttons!
I had my windshield tinted till I got a 250$ ticket 😞
That's tufffff!
Here in jersey is illegal to do it I hate it 😡 I always get pull over 🚔 and I only have side windows tinted 🙄
That sucks lol It’s illegal here too but most cops don’t care about tint unless they need a reason to pull you over
What town are u in? I’m in Monmouth county and I have 35 on the windshield and 15 all around. NEVER get stopped for it lol
Yeah in Jersey it all depends on what town you drive in, some care some don’t.
It's illegal here in California to and we still do it, we dgaf. Everyone say California strict with car laws but that ain't true. LAPD dgaf bout tint lol
Probably got a flashy car huh lol
You have the video changing the key color
The police don’t give tickets 🎫 for that 35% look really nice
says who
yes they do 😹 they may not care too much about your windows but windshield is going to give u a ticket depending on where u live
unless u have a medical exemption then they can't ticket u
California they do . No tinted windshield
Is this legal i want to do it
No tint is legal in my state, you’ll have to check your state but most likely windshield tint is not
