Or maybe he was just a normal sea dragon, distorted into his current self by our arcane arrogance, and now out for revenge? Mothra... could be an ancient guardian deity of sorts (basically, herself), and Ghidorah would be an eldritch demon come to devour the world.

There had been a legend passed down through the generations of Atlantians that one day a terrible monster would appear that even the people of Atlantis could not defeat, but just as all would seem lost, a mighty ally to Atlantis would finally come home to save them. Authur Curry had been told this legend many times, but never believed it. Not untill... 4:27 - The monster is about to kill Authur and his companions & then suddenly a bright blue stream of fire coming from the ocean to their left hits the monster, knocking it off it's feet. Then the Atlantians look in the direction the stream of blue fire came from and there he was. He had returned to save the people of Atlantis just as the legend said. Godzilla has returned to Atlantis and to it's people. While Aquaman and the others look on in awe, and for some disbelief, Godzilla starts to walk ashore to face his challenger. 4:58 - 5:52- As Godzilla comes ashore to face his challenger, one by one the Atlantians in the group with Authur start to bow to Godzilla as he passes them. All except for Authur. Once the battle was over and Godzilla was victorious, Godzilla would approach the group again. Authur now realizes that everything he had been told about Godzilla was true. This time when the group bowed to Godzilla, Aurthur did not hesitate.
All of this is a masterpiece, but from 4:27 through the rest of this piece is just breathtaking. You sir are very talented. I would give anything to see/hear this in either the 2018 Godzilla Sequel by Legendary Films or the 2016 Godzilla Film by Toho Films.

This stirs my blood and excites my heart just as it did oh so many years ago when I first heard it's original music as I sat in a matinee theater watching with my eye wide and my mind reeling... it's classic and ageless in it's power and appeal.

I saw Godzilla King of the Monsters today and they had the original Akira Ifukube themes for Godzilla and Mothra, making me a very happy chap. They might have worked in King Ghidorah's theme to, but as it was being played during battle scenes the explosions and roars drowned it out somewhat making it difficult to tell for sure.

With Godzilla they could go with two concepts- the safe one and make it a simple monster-brawl like pacific Rim, or once again try to make it a more serious commentary on war, abuse of nature like the first Godzilla movie or some Heisei movies. And I was hoping for the second. And the movie sort of tries to do it- but my God, it did not work. For me in this movie they should just locate the action 100% in Japan. Get rid of the main protagonist, that character was usless. I would just make this movie about Dr. Serizawa trying to convince the US military to stop from using nuclear weaopons against the monsters and make commentaries on the subject like the american journalist in the first movie condaming the arogance of humans in their relation to nature (sort of like Ian Malcolm in the novel Jurassic Park) and portray Godzilla like in the Heisei movies as a force of nature that is both destructive but also bringing balance to the scars left by humanity.

Very dramatic and bombastic arrangement. Love the trombone staccato in KG'a theme. I am glad they didn't use the original theme for two reasons. One of them being its a remake and two it just wouldn't have fit.
Wish they could include that haunting piano piece when the camera spans over the destruction of Tokyo - the aftermath - by Godzilla in the 1954 version.
Sounds like Godzilla's gonna save Tamriel from an army of dragons, or Middle Earth from an army of orcs. lol But still really freaking fantastic. Good job.
Hopefully the 2016 Toho movie will have this tone of music. It is simply multiple layers of epic. It sounds like what a Godzilla movie would be if it was set in the middle ages. Can you do more Godzilla music like this (like the military marches and such)? Keep up the good work!

Yes. It's a new storyline I believe they are making a more realistic story behind Godzilla and making him more believable. And also the irradiated and mutation that he got from the H Bomb that he suffered great radiation levels and lost some skin maybe? I don't know. He kind of looks undead.
+28godzilla I was extremely dubious at first until the information was released about Godzilla having more than one state of being. First one is the reddish burned alive version, then slowly healing to the Godzilla we know by the end. After hearing that, I jumped on board.
+28godzilla Actually it's going to be a sequel to the 1954 film. He is reborn since the oxygen destroyer. Godzilla is mainly indestructible depending on the incarnation. One's I can think of are Heisei, 1999/2000, 2004, Dark Horse, Marvel and IDW Godzilla (Half Century War and In Hell comics). Godzilla since the millennium series has gone to Superman levels. Now they are going with a horror approach. As Godzilla was originally intended to be. Godzilla is back once again to his dark roots.
Godzilla's theme from 0:00 to 1:44 sounded very fresh and cleverly rearranged. The rest is too close to originals, nothing new. Chorus at the end was a nice touch. _ The part from 1:45 to 2:44 sounds like something Basil Poledouris could write in 90's. ))

Very dramatic and bombastic arrangement. Love the trombone staccato in KG'a theme. I am glad they didn't use the original theme for two reasons. One of them being its a remake and two it just wouldn't have fit.

Hopefully the 2016 Toho movie will have this tone of music. It is simply multiple layers of epic. It sounds like what a Godzilla movie would be if it was set in the middle ages. Can you do more Godzilla music like this (like the military marches and such)? Keep up the good work!

Yes. It's a new storyline I believe they are making a more realistic story behind Godzilla and making him more believable. And also the irradiated and mutation that he got from the H Bomb that he suffered great radiation levels and lost some skin maybe? I don't know. He kind of looks undead.
+28godzilla I was extremely dubious at first until the information was released about Godzilla having more than one state of being. First one is the reddish burned alive version, then slowly healing to the Godzilla we know by the end. After hearing that, I jumped on board.
+28godzilla Actually it's going to be a sequel to the 1954 film. He is reborn since the oxygen destroyer. Godzilla is mainly indestructible depending on the incarnation. One's I can think of are Heisei, 1999/2000, 2004, Dark Horse, Marvel and IDW Godzilla (Half Century War and In Hell comics). Godzilla since the millennium series has gone to Superman levels. Now they are going with a horror approach. As Godzilla was originally intended to be. Godzilla is back once again to his dark roots.

Godzilla's theme from 0:00 to 1:44 sounded very fresh and cleverly rearranged. The rest is too close to originals, nothing new. Chorus at the end was a nice touch.
