I am deeply saddened with the passing of Mike Taylor AKA Beard Guy on Saturday night. My deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, bandmates and fans. He will be missed. I feel fortunate to just have seen him play on stage back in September at the Agriplex in London Ontario. Some of my favorite parts of this video involve Beard Guy, from revving up the crowd using his arms as the volume control, (the sly grin that can be seen during the closeup) the shaking during Hey Ya, tossing the dirigidoo across half the stage, but mostly and most memorable for me is watching him belt it out during Sing It All Away at the end of the concert. He looked like he was on the top of the world in that moment.
Original video description follows below:
WOTE Fans! Walk Off The Earth Live at the London Western Fair Agriplex building (Not the most acoustically friendly venue) on September 11, 2018.
I have been hoping to see these guys live for quite some time, so when this date popped up in London, I jumped at the chance to go see them ( I live in Nova Scotia but work in Sarnia, Ontario).
Concert was filmed using Panasonic GH5, Metabones speedbooster 0.64x and Canon 70-200 EF IS L Mk II USM, Rode Filmmaker wireless mic (right channel) and Rode NTG-2 shotgun mounted on camera for left channel. (Yes this concert was filmed with only one camera..... amazing what you can do in post...) Кино
RIP Mike Taylor ❤️
I am shocked and saddened by this news of his passing. At a loss for words really. Rest in peace Beard Guy.
Beard Guy is my favorite. I didnt know he passed away until I watched this video. Coincidentally, its the same day he passed a year ago. RIP Beard Guy !!! The world lost an awesome person.
I didn't find out until just now that Mike has left us for that Big Stage in the sky. no words right now. only tears. fuck.
God Bless, RIP MIKE TAYLOR, and thanks WOTE awesomeness
Saw this same concert two months later in Dallas. I am so glad I saw them before the tragedy of Mike's passing. I hope they will continue on for years to come.
This is the whole band I will always remember...with the tour extras and the Beard Guy!
This is the best thing I've heard in quite a long time. This group is literally awesome. Sad to hear about Mike. RIP Mike. :(
My three year old grandson and seven year old Granddaughter were (and are) big fans, they cried when I told them of Mikes passing he will be missed. We love you beard guy. Walk off the Earth don't stop keep your music going
いつかはwalk off the earth のライブ見に行きたいな👀✨

I saw them live once. It was amazing I was front row at a festival
Mikes one of his last concerts :'(. Rest in peace Mike. I love the ballad in the middle of the concert on 29:30. Really beautiful... The whole concert. At the end Beard Guy was singing along on the front of the podium, i love it!
Simply Different That was the very first time they ever played that song. Haven’t heard them play it since...
We all will miss Mike Taylor, his memory and spirit will be with this band forever. RIP Mr. Mike
Being 911 is my Birthday, and finding this is real. It's a shame that I will never get a chance to see them live. They are playing in concert here in Raleigh, NC along with another of my favorites, Lindsey Sterling. OH WELL, thanks for RUclips.
It is so amazing to see each of them tinker with different instruments almost as if they are just playing. Each one so incredibly talented! Love them!
These guys are so cool, real music 🤘
This....is...lit....🔥🔥🔥
Love & peace Y'all. Missing Mike today.
Can you imagine being the roadie for this band? So much stuff.
This is so awesome!!! I love Walk off the Earth. This concert is amazing. They all are amazing--each and every one . I hope to one day see them perform live myself. Thank you Walk off the Earth . And this recording also. You all are great. ♡♡♡♡
thankyooou for this vid, I really love walk off the earth
Loving the new songs also. ♡
Nice work. It's nice having the extra pixels in the video so you can crop and pretend it's your second camera. Light levels are perfect considering concert lighting can be very tricky when it goes from black to super bright across a single frame. Yes there's echo, but the sound is pretty damn good and feels "live" without being blown out or harsh.
Thanks for the kind words. Glad you enjoyed.
Even my German Teenager knows Gang of Rhythm!.
20:20, i see that now, Mike Taylor couldn't hold his laugh too for a moment :)
definitely worth a Sub. Nice!
Way BETTER than the original!!! Damn!
so many Ukuleles, Kazoos and guitars would be broken if that was me throwing them around like the WOTE guys LOL I have a little heart attack everytime they throw em around
I get a real kick when Sarah says they are giving away a ukulele to the loudest.. the craziest person (around the 9:14 mark of the video, then at the 9:57 mark tosses the uke onto the stage so hard I thought it was going to break!
I was ther

I can't believe that Ryan Marshall left WOTE just a year after the Mike Taylor's death.

@@The-Logician Thank you i just read over the description and I found it 🤣
Best line up they had. Wasn't the same vibe after Marshall left. Then beard guy passed away. Still a good band, just not the grass roots fun band that they started out as.
Bueno en realidad pensé que cantaban mejor pero en vivo realmente no son gran cosa.
Me, first couple minutes: Is this STOMP?
Yeah, that acoustic thing... don't do that again.
go
This is what's wrong with music and the people that like it. 🙄🙄🤔
