There are 2 correct statements: 1) Roger managed to beat Novak 3 times when 2) Djokovic had one of the best years ever on ATP. In light of that and Roger's overall greatness, that Novak's year is probably top 3 years in the history of ATP. They played 8 times, H2H was 5:3 Djokovic. They played 7 finals and one RR irrelevant match that neither guy had to win. Djokovic chose to play Nadal in the SF by losing RR match. Nadal had a bad year overall and Novak even beat him in Roland Garros QF that year. He avoided Wawrinka who had beaten Novak at FO final earlier that year. Roger on the other hand had been a kryptonite for Stan the Man. That means it 5:2 in finals. Doha final is the least important in those finals. That makes it 5:1. That one in Cincinnati was a big win for Roger just a week before US Open but could be cancelled with either Novak's wins at 2 ATP 1000: Rome or Indian Wells. Clear 4:0 for Novak in Big finals US Open, Wimbledon, ATP Finals and 1 ATP 1000 that Year. After all, Novak could not possibly have won ALL the titles he contested, could he?

Moral of the story based on the Theory of Federer Fans ....
If Federer finished with 24 Slams and Nadal with 22 and Djokovic with 20, he would be the undisputed GOAT and Nadal 2nd and Djokovic 3rd.
If Federer ends up with 20 Slams, Nadal 22 and Djokovic 24, he would still be the undisputed GOAT, do you know why? Because when the numbers have been exceeded, what matters is the elegance of the game.
So dont waste your time with these people, Djokovic is the same era of his 2 Biggest Rivals(1 year by rafa and 4 and half of Federer) and beat all of them to make your Kingdom.
The Big 3 is Legendary, but in the end... the story speaks itself #.
