  • Activist and Poet, Margaret Rozga recalls the first Fair Housing march across the 16th Street viaduct bridge, led by Father James Groppi, on Monday, August 28th, 1967. The march would continue for 200 consecutive days and swell to over 5,000 supporters, including many celebrities. Rozga and Groppi later married in 1976.
