  • During the civil rights campaign of the 1960's in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Father James Groppi stated that we have to "Become Black" in order to save our souls. He believed that Jesus Christ's message was founded on revolution and overturning the status quo. Father Groppi was my Great Uncle. Every year I share the videos I find on RUclips with my inner city high school classrooms. This will be added to the list. Thank you for helping my students understand and capturing a piece of my history. Much love!
