  • Caring for a child with special needs can be a difficult journey. The transition from high school to becoming a young adult can be particularly difficult, but there is a great community resource that is making life a little easier for young adults with special needs and their caregivers.       The Disability System as a whole is a joke. Take day programs, group homes, sheltered workshops, individualized support plans, and interdisciplinary teams. They keep people dependent, and never allowed to pursue their interests, live the lives they want or learn new skills.
