Tortured with captivity severely,
you died a glorious death...
In the struggle for the people's cause,
you have honestly put your head together. (x2)
You did not serve long, but honestly,
for the good of your homeland,
and we, your brothers of the cause,
took you to the cemetery. (x2)
Our enemy did not sneer at you,
all around you were your own.
We, my dear, have closed
your eagle eyes. (x2)
Grief did not crush our spirit,
nor did tears shine in our eyes,
when we, saying farewell to you,
covered your ashes with the earth. (x2)
No, anger only strangled us!
We will burst into the battle with the enemies
and avenge you mercilessly,
above your we ashes we swore! (x2)
You alone are dear to us;
like you, we are in a rotten prison.
Like you, for the people's cause,
we'll remove our own heads! (x2)
Like you, we, perhaps, will serve
only as the soil for new people,
only as a formidable prophecy of the new
coming and valiant days. (x2)
But we know, as you knew, dear,
that soon, rising from our bones,
will be the avenger of harshness,
and he will be stronger than we are! (x2)

С тобою одна нам дорога;

One of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard, as far as the melody goes. And the lyrics - about the burial after death due to imprisonment of a young revolutionary, Pavel Chernyshev, in 1876 - fit the mood of the melody.
I know this may sound kinda dark, but I want this played at my funeral.
I will make it
it will be done 👍
It is after alla funeral song
I'm afraid for this you will have to lay down your life for the good of the revolution. At the same time, it is quite possible that you yourself will not see it.

Tormented to death by a heavy captivity
You've died a noble death
In the struggle for the people's cause
You have found an honest death
You've served not long, but honestly

This makes me think of the men who died in the Kursk submarine. Terrible way to die.
Steven Tan Agree
Yes, and it was a foreign power that torpedoed the Kursk!
Ludmila Kotovski
Uh no it wasn’t. If I remember correctly the Kursk had some kind if on board failure, and the Russian government was too proud to allow foreign aid. Thus the men of Kursk died a terrible death. All because of prideful generals.
Fighting Falcon TX: You're wrong, it was a US submarine which fired upon the Kursk... Shortly after the "incident", President Clinton invited Putin to the US to give him $2 million dollars as " hush money" on the proviso that Putin destroy all evidence of the "accident"! Don't you ever watch documentaries?
Ludmila Kotovski
I did once, though it was a long time ago. However I remember one of the Nations that offered aid, was the US, as we had ships close enough to get there in time to rescue the crew.
"A' men's heart is missing, your beautiful male voices are still with us. Rest in People, beautiful men.
what a song. you have to have been a true hero if people sing this song for you after you passed. imagine how much it can raise a soldier's morale.
Most Devastating
by
Travis of Bickley
The one thing of my 75 years of being that has devastated me so, has been my inability to stop pain and suffering of those I love and strangers passing by with a visage screaming:"Help me!"
I have prayed and I have seen easements and victorious miracles of such things, but not all of them!
Human suffering and pain, whether deserved or not, I personally want all of it to end.
I care to see no more of it. My eyes and mind have been filled with them all. I want to see with eyes anew and a mind refreshed a happiness and joy for all humanity. And may it be eternal, to God I pray. Amen.
Travis bickle 💀
Tortured by severe captivity
You died gloriously
Your head have fallen with honour
In fight for people's cause...
Our enemy didn't scoff at your body
Your comrades were around you
Dear, we closed
Your eagle eyes...
It wasn't grief that crushed our soul
Not tears shone in our eyes
When we were commemorating you
And covering your ashes with earth...
The anger was suffocating us
We were eager for battle against enemies
And we have promised
To mercilessly avenge you
While standing by your grave...

Exactly, people who do not understand or know any better are not to blame for the ideas that look down apon communism, but the collected ideas in general that the west has formed that make ignorane bliss and capitalism the dominant. If people hate the Soviet union they should hate Stalin for giving Communism and the idea of a free society a bad rap. It is not the ideas or the morals of the people but the ones in power who failed the Union. The Union WAS a great land of oppurtunity and freedom.
The issue is, it was not free.
The Soviet Union was a land of rigid order and callous cruelty. Stalin didn't give the communist ideal a bad name - anything else would have ended the same. The Soviet Union was never supposed to exist in the first place. Marx wished for Germany and the UK to be communist. But the trend in light of the cold war is that undeveloped states become communist, and developed countries become fascist or some other form of right authoritarian. Fascism and Imperialism, therefore, has in essence, defeated communism. By twisting it and forcing it to adapt into something Marx himself would oppose.
@@wisemankugelmemicus1701 marx didnt specify any nations that could be communist. Your argument is invalid because if you look at lenins time as the leader of the USSR, the union went from an underdeveloped country to a industrialized juggernaut in matter of years while people had their freedom. Stalinism is what ultimately resulted the downfall of the USSR not communism.
@@Anonim-os7rp it was. More free than any other nation, both before and after it. You just always looked at it through the lens of western propaganda, if you look at it in a fair way, you actually find that how free it was. The union was comprised of 17 different republics but systematic racism and sexism did not exist. A worker in Moscow and a farmer in Armenia were the same in the eyes of the government.
@@zilionis8003 please, educate yourself in history.
the russian history i've read of lives in this song, a series of epic struggles on a grand scale. astounding sound.
Wasn't Stalin the mech with rocket launchers that US Delta Sergeant Sergeant McBaldeagle had to defeat in Call of Modern Warfarefield - Blackest Propaganda Ops Behind Enemy Lines VI while defusing a nuclear bomb in Washington which is the center of the world? Or was that only in the Super Pro Killer Leet Edition DLC? Not sure, someone enlighten me.
Stalin used an Atlas mechwarrior and defeated Hiter's Madcat MK II. Americans liked it, but were eventually pissed off by the constant bragging of Stalin about his skill at destroying fascist mechwarriors and making puppet mechwarriors friends in eastern Europe. Then both sides had a lot of fun of accumulating all sorts of mechwarriors on both sides of the east german frontier during a bit less than 40 years.

That Mechwarrior talk touched my heart in places. Oh memories, rest still.

Otschen harascho, spasiba ♡
The song is a poem by Grigori Alexandrovich Machtet (1852-1901) about the death of Pavel Chernyshev
The lyrics in english (but the traduction maybe not very accurate): Tormented by slavery,
You met a glorious death...
In the struggle for the people's cause,
You laid down your head with honor... (bis)
You served briefly, but honestly,
For the good of our native land...
And we, your brothers in this cause,
Carried you to the graveyard. (bis)
Our enemy did not mock you...
Those around you were your own...
We ourselves, dear comrade, closed
Your eagle eyes. (bis)
No sorrow weighed on us,
No tears glistened in our eyes,
As we bid you farewell
And covered your remains with earth. (bis)
No, it was only anger that consumed us!
We burned to fight against our enemies,
And we swore to avenge you mercilessly
Over your lifeless dust! (bis)
With you, we have only one path;
Like you, we will rot in prisons,
Like you, for the cause of the people,
We will sacrifice our heads. (bis)
Like you, perhaps, we will serve
Only as the soil for new people,
Only as a fearsome prophecy of
The coming days, brave and noble. (bis)
But we know, as you knew, dear comrade,
That soon, from our bones,
A stern avenger will rise
And he will be stronger than us! (bis)
Rest in peace. Fair well, Comrade.
Oh please tell me more.. My school system where I live is made to make factory workers and I had to leave school at 16 years old to work in a private enterprise.
At my last year of school I spent an entire year working for free in a private corporation to learn "how to work in a semi-specialised environment" (AKA mcdonalds). Is nothing beautiful in depression, man. Is only disgusting cut in arm, and suicide thoughts. Is stupid and childish. Just stop be sensitive, and you will make it. Oke? Good man.
If the alternative to being depressed is being like you, then I'd rather stay depressed.

Composter: Alexandrov Ensemble. Sorry for the late news, Comrade.
Nice music😀
I wrote a screenplay titled, "The Pince of Moscow", this music was part of my motivation to write it. The second piece of music to inspire me was Sorrow Atoms from the movie Perfect Sense. My script is a tremendously sad Romeo & Juliet story of how one can fight viciously to escape their fate, however in the end she wins.
Respect and glory to the Russians, Ukrainians, Kazakhs, Belarusians, and many more who gave their lives for the Red Army and the defeat of Nazi Fascism. We also will never forget the innocents of Eastern Europe that were massacred by the S.S and other Nazi units. The Red Army commited it's own fair share of atrocities, especially near the end of the war; yes. But it doesn't detract from efforts they made. And it DEFINITELY does not detract from the suffering of the common civilian. In this time of new crisis, I can only wish for peace between the nations of Ukraine and Russia who fought, bled, and died together for survival and liberation against Nazism.
