I think F1 should open the engine rules a bit. I love the early 90s for the variety of V8s V10s and V12s. I don't think V10s and V12s will ever come back, but why not let teams chose if they want to make a V6 or V8 hybrid, and increase the displacement and rpm a bit. We'll never get the screaming of the past back, but the fia sure can spruce up the current sound if they really wanted to.
it would be great if they made F1 great again without all the assists... No ABS, no traction control, no hydraulic steering, etc... Only pure skill.
I remember running up the banks of hanger straight at qualifying in 1996! The cars in the 90s where epic but I missed the v12 era by a few years 😵

It actually does sound like the McLaren’s were running a traction control system

It's 1992. Ferrari in 1993 had a red-white livery and McLaren had Ford V8 engine instead of Honda V12 like in the video
