Those are all beautiful buildings, Al. Looking forward to you building that Oakland Inn. And I'm glad Howard mentioned those steps & railings were from Pikestuff. I can use some of those, I just had to bend a railing like that out of styrene rod.
Almost every building on my layout is scratch built, as you said; kits are not as easy as scratch building because I know how it is put together! All I do is look at something and then figure how to build it. (And, all of my scratch builds have been in at least the top two in contests.)
