Hey Isaac just a suggestion, when dealing with old engine's that sit any length of time it's better to use distilled water rather than tap water it doesn't have the chemicals in it, keep up the amazing content bud 😊😊😂😂❤
Thank you Issac once again a fun time. I sure understand the feeling how those action camera setting get changed for the worse. Good for you having the guts to drive the old cars on a long haul. A very satisfying feeling. Been there done that. Enjoy life take care
I just wanted to say I'm proud of John. I remember when he said he used to come to you to get his mechanic work done and now he's doing it himself, good for you John.
Isaac that is one beautiful Camaro love the color of it. That year had the good-looking body style compared to the newer ones. And you have to do what you want to and put a 4 or 5 speed in the Chevy. Because it is what you want to do.
I've always used full strength antifreeze, it's stupid to pay for water, 1 gallon of full strength equal 2 gallons of liquid. Inhence 50/50. If it's a lil on the stronger side that's a plus. Car lookin good too! Thanks for sharing.
Good job on not spilling that coolant on the ground, + I’d keep it automatic so you don’t have to mess with that steering column. Then it will be easier to multitask going down the road😂
You could clean that radiator out using simple green. My old Ford ranger some years back had the same issue with the temp climbing. I took a couple quarts of simple green to put in it, then filled the rest of way with water. Drove around seventy miles or so to get it flowing in the whole system and good and warm. Then I drained it, all the white scummy scaly mush flushed out and looked clean as new. Then I removed the thermostat to put in a new one. Looking in the area there it was also bright and clean. Refilled with new anti-freeze and cranked it up. The temp needle stayed down where it had been when it was a new truck and ran perfect, even towing trailer or four wheeling it stayed where it was supposed to.
Good afternoon Isaac hope things are going great with you I've got a few videos to catch up with you so I'll be watching them now hope you have a great weekend by the way on the rat rod wheelbarrow build I was thinking a collapsible staring shaft ACV joint and mount the magic box to the suspension system For the rat rod wilberald build other than that have a great day
Watching your channel is like being immersed in a fun world of laughter and hilarity. Continue to amaze and inspire us with your quality entertainment!😃▪️❤️
Isaac, brother, why would you ask the viewers about what trans to drop in the '57? It don't matter a LICK what any of us say - ain't none of us gonna be driving it. It's your car, do whatcha whatcha whatcha want.
When you change transmissions you should put a new pan gasket and seals on the old one so that if you buy something with a bad transmission you'll have an extra one to use.
I just took my Valiant's radiator to Bull City Radiator (shout out to Corky for the good job) to find a weird drip at the inlet/top tank. Pressure tested it, found the small fissure, repaired, tested again, then thermal painted. $165 after everything. I could put an aluminum radiator in it, but this is a factory 26", HD cooling unit- I've never seen it get to the half mark on the gauge. I run the trans line into the radiator cooler, then out to an external cooler (from an '80 Aspen cop car I stripped)- works fantastic for now; the factory A-833 OD swap is coming!
Manual all the way, we'll have none of that automatic nonsense ! ;) Nay worries about the timelapse thing Isaac sometimes odd things happen right? Like as soon as you fired up the camaro at the shop "Spirit in the sky" started blaring out of my speakers. "Turn the radio down a touch Isaac" thinks I only to realise that spotify had suddenly decided to start playing it of it's own accord from some random album that I wasn't even listening to earlier- bless it! Ah well dinner time methinks , have a great weekend :)
you could put an auto in it then just plate off the clutch holes an manual stuff then when you find one or get the parts for it you can just swap it in so you can get more progress done on it
I'm somewhat looking forward to you rocking up at C&C HQ in that Chevette, maybe as an April Fools claiming you'd sold off all the power stuff and were taking that on a (no) power tour trip... :P
G'day Isaac, did you know that General Motors made a very similar car to the Camaro in Australia? It was the Holden HX Monaro Coupe. The HX sells today between $50,000 AU and $100,000 AU. The very rare 1975 HJ model Monaro had less than one thousand made in all variants and has sold for $200,000 AU. A 1972 Monaro recently sold for $375,000 AU. There is bugger all differences between the Camaro and the Monaro except for which side the steering wheel is on and rarity. In 1976 I went into the Zupps Holden dealer in Aspley to buy my new Holden Sunbird. The salesman tried to sell me the showroom floor model Monaro and offered a good deal because it was last year's HJ model, but I was too smart for him and left with my Sunbird.
The music itself isn't the problem per se, but the volume doesn't match the recorded audio from your video. You can probably cut it by a third to a half to get it so it's not too loud. Check the peak decibels. Editing with headphones on helps too
Which shop you got 12 lol Must be nice all I got to say I was robbed of my youth and my career Cancer ruined my life… Oh yeah I’m alive beat it but I live on disability which is a quarter or less of my income and all the chemo and radiation ruined my heart and all kinds other issues from it All my 401 I had to use because government fighting me for my disability for almost 2 years Your lucky
What exhaust?? It has quite an old skool Turbo muffler noise at the 3:27 mark where you were backing it out. 2 and 1/2 inch? Whatever it is, it sounds great!!!!
This Old Man from Washington NC little late getting to watch 👍. Always a great video. The little problems with this one i know you will not have them again ❤️. 🛵🧔💝
best part about the older cars an trucks for me is no computers yeeaahh
Manual in the 57 for sure! We want a good old fashioned clutch dump too..!!!
Don't compromise on the 57's transmission. I think a 5 speed would make a great road trip / powertour car!
Dont let someone talk you out of building your car the way you want.
Please stop the music when you're talking. It's hard to understand what you're saying. At least to this old guy.
It's been quite a long time since last seen the Camaro. Forgot how good it sounded

Nice Camaro, I had a 78 model, enjoyed it a lot!
Unless serious drag racing, a clutch is WAY better than automatic. Very pretty car. That's a keeper!
Working on older cars is so much more satisfying than newer ones!
I love the Camaro that is a bad ass car. I respect how you always restore the old school cars
Both cars and the truck all have the same kind of wheels on them. You love those wheels.
My favorite wheels
I just wanted to say I'm proud of John. I remember when he said he used to come to you to get his mechanic work done and now he's doing it himself, good for you John.
Good episode Ike! Be safe and drive careless! 😜 👍✌️🤙🤙🫡🫡
It’s mad jock checking in Issac, love the content as I myself mess with cars and I do welding and fabrication
Man I love the Camaro. MY favorite body style.
Got a super cool fleet. Can't wait to see the next one. Great video
Outstanding and awesome as always
I've got that "I tried it at home" t-shirt too lol. John from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada

I really like to see you working on the 57 Chevrolet sir. I think it will be the best project when it’s done!
The 64 Buick is really cool,Id like to see how that runs.
They made really good cars back in the day.

My brother has an '84 Z28 Camero with a 350 and T5 transmission. He is soon upgrading the transmission, brakes, and suspension.
Friday!! best day of the week!! have a good weekend ike!!
I love that Camaro. My sister had a red one. I wanted that car bad but it wasn't meant to be.
Great job on the camairo but didn't care for the new music 🎶 and yah a 4 speed manual trans would be awesome in the 57 👍
Hey great video thanks 👍
👍 👍 💯
When you change transmissions you should put a new pan gasket and seals on the old one so that if you buy something with a bad transmission you'll have an extra one to use.
With so many cars, I can't imagine how you keep all the batteries up to charge. You must buy several batteries a year.

I used to have an Orange ‘77 Type LT Camaro with a 305. God I wish I had kept it.

Hi bro from west Alabama hugs
looking at the floor in that shop the trans needs more than the rad does nice oil slick buddy.
Lol yea
Dang! You have all the cool vehicles lol!!😎👍
Not all… but still lol.

Ill look at the monaro. I didnt think they had a model close to the camaro in Australia
@@isaacitllbefine7231 Holden sold the Monaro as both a coupe (2-door) and also a 4-door.
Funny None inch nails sounding music as Issac pours antifreeze slowly into the radiator lol
I seen the old Biscayne over there...

It's okay I see several RUclipsrs do the same thing they forget to turn the camera on or they put it on time lapse. Opps
Shoot I guess wait a little longer on the 57 and have what you want.
Sounds like upgrade transmission pal
to change the Rad 10 minutes. to take everything off and put it back on to get to the Rad 1.5 hours.
Spray some Windex on the belts to stop noise
What are the size of tires on your Camaro? And are those 15 x 7 wheels?
13:13 Hmm... does Ike have a "type" when it comes to wheels? 🤔
I was with you till the tap water distilled water will not create mineral deposits
Bro, stick with the manual transmission. 👍
I really hope that interior isn't covered in mold like it looks like it is. You could get very sick!
I cleaned it up before the trip
@@isaacitllbefine7231 Ok good. Can't have my man Issac getting sick and not being able to bring us all awesome videos.
3 pedals no question.
OMG! If I ate a sandwich that fast I would have had mega gas!! 🙂
What's up on the chevette? Do you want to part ways with it
Whoop!!!

Is that a bicycle tire on the truck steering wheel?
5 speed manual for the 57!
This video is sponsored by Carls Jr. and there BIG A$$ FRIES!!! If you know you know.

No question, put a manual in the '57.
I'm in agreeance with everyone else, Manual trans or bust
The perfect disaster 😅
At the beginning of the video the chevette in the back ground. 2 door or 4 door?

Five or six speed in the 57 chevy
Nah, put a real man’s transmission in that 57.
No. Don't put an automatic in the 57. What all do you need? Might be able to help.
I need all the clutch linkage and clutch fork
@@isaacitllbefine7231 I will see what I can dog up. There's TONS of old Chevy's in farm fields here in North Dakota. LOL

We have lots of bees
Standerd shift, five speed out of s10 chevy. As allways be safe. Peace🇺🇸
Ike,
That leaky transmission is the reason the radiator isn't cooling off. Your transmission is cooking the coolent
Its so wierd it only leaks when it sits
This music is killing me I've got to slip through the majority of your videos. Please quit with the music
This Old Man from Washington NC little late getting to watch 👍. Always a great video. The little problems with this one i know you will not have them again ❤️. 🛵🧔💝
