Good points mate. The only thing I have a different experience with, is the arrogance part. Posting photos on Instagram about your watches and straps/bracelets isn't arrogant in most cases. I do it, but not because I think more of my collection or myself. Just sharing the joy with fellow seikoholics, hopefully helping them decide what to spend their money on or inspire them in some way. Looking at beautiful photos from others has helped and inspired me quite a few times. In my experience, an other major danger in the hobby is copying (which might even have to do with jealousy) vs inspiration. Copying will derail your journey, while inspiration helps you find the way. Keep it up mate, your videos are truly inspiring!
I hope you’re not mad at your kids for making noise in the background. I think they added to the video as reminders for the beautiful more important things beyond watches💌
