EVENTINE BAND - SEPARATE WAYS (WORLDS APART) | JOURNEY COVER (STRANGER THINGS VERSION)

A live band cover of Separate Ways (Worlds Apart) by Journey, performed live by covers band 'Eventine', inspired by the 'Stranger Things' cinematic remix. We produced this cover ourselves from scratch, inspired by the Stranger Things cinematic remix featured in season 4 of the show. We loved it, and wanted to put our own spin on it! Recorded and filmed live at Tazma Studios, UK.

Luke Steffens - Lead guitar, backing vocals

Loved the idea… the drama at the beginning with the muted synth was a supercool vibe… especially through the first verse ~ it was the perfect build up to the chorus ~ but adding the extra 8 count on the first chorus killed all the momentum you built. It was a gutsy choice… but for me, it fell totally flat. The rest of it was great!
It’s tough covering Journey ~ As the old saying goes… you can’t improve on perfection. 😊 Great production though! You guys have the goods!
