The one place that is not boring is Mana pools ! Each day offers something different. Heaven on earth ! Zimbabwe has a gem . It’s wild .. it’s natural, it’s beautiful ! It’s not Kruger so it’s not commercial . Let’s hope it stays this way !
I just Love your voice overs. Beautiful birds and that baboon little one I just wanted to smack it upside the head...just kidding. Thanks James and Kirsten for another grand time.
Carmine Bee Eaters cutting the air like minature dragons while dazzling the eyes with their brilliant colours are beautifully captured James, as is the totally satisfying *pfffffft glug gulp* sounds of a parched desert being refreshed!! Well deserved after a long day's adventuring 📷🐗🙈🐘++😊
Thank you for another stunning reminder of home. Mana was and will always be my ‘happy place’ with some amazing memories from there. Your sense of humour and story telling cracks me up, putting a smile on my face on a cold winters night in London! Thank you for this amazing series, which I will definitely watch many times more in the future. Kind regards to all.
Got to love it! This is classic James and his stories with his character voices. Thanks for the great views and for putting a smile on my face. Gloria 🐂
I just about died laughing when he told the story about the couple (from NY?) and the wife who thought she saw a snake chasing them, all in character and with special voices. I'll look for it, and if I find it I will come back and include a link. FOUND IT!! ruclips.net/video/6TRRwH3hzWI/видео.html
One of the most amazing things about God’s given wildlife I love the most is the color of many birds. Some brilliant colors..beautiful! I mean seriously, beautiful bright blue and rich red, just beautiful!
Its really great that Kirsten found someone with knowledge of the wildlife and how to document it.He does a really great job. Thanks Kirsten,See ya tomorrow :)
Oh, Mr. Hendry - a perfect example of why we are blessed to see the world in color....the birds were stunning ! And of course - so too was your narration - "colorful"....lol
Stunningly beautiful colourful birds! The Ellie walk by was special....Kirsten I love your choice of music, beautiful nature at its finest! Thank you for sharing your adventures, brightens my day living in the city! Love & Blessings to you both xxx
Thank you James and Kirsten for another entertaining episode. The footage of the two species of bee eaters, love birds, queleas and ground hornbills are outstanding. As ex-Zimbabweans now living in New Zealand this series is wonderfully nostalgic and makes us determined to visit Mana Pools again in the not too distant future.
Wow, the bird life is incredible. Cool to see your brief interaction with the young male elephant too. The baboons as always are hilarious. Thank you for sharing these gorgeous shots.
Spectacular!!…the birds were awesome to see, especially the brightly colored ones, the red with beautiful turquoise…..…loved the music you chose for those tiny birds, which was thousands of them flitting around, music fit so well…and of course, enjoyed your voice overs for the hornbills…thank you & your beautiful wife for sharing these adventures with us…it’s something I will never get to experience in my lifetime, so keep them coming, please…hugs to you both!
HI JAMES+KIRSTEN I ENJOY YOUR CHANNEL SO MUCH . I ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO EACH NEW EPISODE. JAMES WHEN I WAS WATCHING WILDEARTH( SAFARILIVE) U WERE ALWAYS MY FAVORITE PERSON TO SEE. I GUESS SOME PEOPLE R UNBEATABLE/ DIFFICULT TO BEAT , DIFFICULT TO COMPETE AGAINST.
Thank you so much for another episode of the Kirsten and James adventures. Poor Jeremiah, the baboon not the bullfrog. He and Barry the Baboon need to try to be friends. The baby baboon was so funny. Thanks again…blessings.
Thank you for another informative and fun video, James & Kirsten. The diversity of animals you were able to catch that were side by side is amazing. Can you, or someone in this thread, tell me what those beautiful red w/blue birds are at the 9:57 mark?
Yes the weather may be foul but as for the "A lot of wind ". When you have a lot of baa boons eating copious amounts of wild figs, well yes you will get a lot of wind !! It just comes with the territory. Tony and Byron may both be slow learners, but that could be because they were schooled in South Joburg and Uitenhage respectively. However both have exquisite taste when it comes to beersies. Castle Lager only.
Another wonderful episode! Loved Byron the eland and all the Staceys, good one Kirsten. Carmine bee-eaters are fast becoming my favorite bird. (those were carmine bee-eaters weren't they?) James, your voicing of the ground hornbills was too funny. And the young elephant so close must have been very special. Then there were the baboons. If you run out of material (like that will ever happen!) you could do a whole episode of just baboons! For just a moment I was concerned about your camera burning up but since you weren't concerned I took a second look and realized the fire wasn't that close. Thank you both for this wonderful series of what looks like the most fabulous place. Just one request, more Kirsten!
Fabulous work as always! Those bee-eaters are the prettiest birds in my opinion, prettier than the rollers even. Are they white-fronted, or rosy, I can't identify birds well.
James, I was reminded of Robert Sapolsky as you commented on stress hormone in hierarchy of baboons. Surely you must be familiar with his work. Have you read "A Primates Memoir"?
How awesome, Ellie, warthog. Impala & baboon all in one view .. how absolutely wonderful .. now that’s a holiday 😃😃.. I really appreciate you taking the time to share ☺️ Marianne NZ
Just a quick question about the baboon eating the figs: the figs all look alike - I`m assuming they`re not ripe?, however the baboon is picky which one to pick, picks it, takes one bite and throws it away - his reasoning? Thanks!

Zambezi Beer on the Zambezi River, awesome cold beer.
Very lovely footage. Thank you. What a special place - the first place we saw painted wolf pups!
Loved the quelea sequence - especially the music pairing!
I just Love your voice overs. Beautiful birds and that baboon little one I just wanted to smack it upside the head...just kidding. Thanks James and Kirsten for another grand time.
Loved it!👍🏻❤️
Wow this is absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed this video ❤️😘
Your Storytelling is mesmerizing.
I thoroughly enjoyed this! Especially the comical ground horned bill
Poor Mr Johnston
loved Mr. mid-ranking`s curly „do“ on his neck!
The voice overs made me subscribe 🤣

Mercifully, the carmines do not breathe fire
Really enjoyed this episode the funniest of the series so far

The most amazing thing being - God doesn’t exist. Piece of sheer invention to suppress the weak and make the masses conform.
Thanks for the vid its a good one
Beautifully done video with all my favorites especially the elephants, baboons, warthog, and gorgeous birds. Thank you!
Its really great that Kirsten found someone with knowledge of the wildlife and how to document it.He does a really great job. Thanks Kirsten,See ya tomorrow :)

They certainly were carmine bea eaters
The flock of birds moving across the land remind me of Robins migrating thru my area when i was much younger. They are all but gone these days
Fabulous work as always! Those bee-eaters are the prettiest birds in my opinion, prettier than the rollers even. Are they white-fronted, or rosy, I can't identify birds well.
White fronted and Carmine

Thats precisely where the info comes from. What a great book!
wonderful, so many animals in one shot, Ellie, baboon, warthog and impala #23675
How awesome, Ellie, warthog. Impala & baboon all in one view .. how absolutely wonderful .. now that’s a holiday 😃😃..

They're not alike, so they pick the ripest ones. They're also very wasteful
Miss your humor James, love your stories. :)
Glad you like them!
I get impression that Mana is prettier than Hwange. Am I correct. I haven't been to Mana yet
See ya next time,Thanks James,Kirsten and crew.PS give the wildlife a thanks for their participation too :)
James, what kind of birds are those @10:00 ? They're so beautiful! Are they carmine bee eaters?
That they are
@@JamesHendry thank you for taking time to answer. Love to you and your bride from Oregon. ❤
As a former teacher Tony and Mr Johnston brought up,memories, lol.
Likewise!
No ice. No snow…..
Why don't you fish.... What are the costs to camp at mana
My teacher Mr Hornbill had the same problem with me :)
We all had a Mr Johnstone
Can imagine a baboon beating 😆
God this video just felt like the good old days of SafariLive, miss James on there.
Me too. Those were the best of times. :^)
13:48 why are they burning the camera and tripod?
Its just a trick of the angle
The baboons at Mana Pools seem much skinnier than the ones in Sabi Sands and other areas we have watched.
Interesting, possibly during the dry season
Hi James what camera and lens are you currently using?
This is mostly a sonyA7s3 and a sony 200 to 600mm
Ok, I set my reminder, I didn’t get the reminder :( Sorry, I’m sad about it..oh well, next time.
Poor Jeremiah
Perhaps he will seek another troupe..
I follow you on Instagram only I use my real name there 👍. Looking forward to this James! 🥃A Lil Apple Juice as my gift to you ☺️
