I met Leland one time after a Judith Owen show at a medium-sized club in Atlanta GA maybe 10 years ago?🤔I got there very early as I was a huge fan of Lee and Judith. I was sitting on the front table all by my lonesome when a stranger came up right before showtime and asked if he could sit with me. He was a man with a slightly receding hairline, short curly hair and genteel eyes. The thing was, I knew I recognized him, but could not place him in my mind. I introduced myself as did he. Now I had just retired the music business in Nashville and I’m proud to say in all humility that I was lucky enough to have worked as a Nashville musician with some of the best, and most of them you know by one name: Dolly, Kenny, Glen, Jerry Reed etc., but very few get to work with the quantity and quality of artists like Leland has. So anyway, the man next to me introduced himself and it was none other than HARRY SHEARER! My jaw dropped because there is no bigger fan of Christopher Guest’s movies than me, and what a wonderful, nice man he was. We had a blast sitting together and enjoying the show. As it turns out he is Judith‘s husband! Part 2 The show was incredible and incredibly intimate. Of course, after the show I had to go backstage and germ Lee.😎”Germ”, (pronounced GURM) I think, is a Nashville term for a bothersome music fan, also a verb. WELL, I GERMED THE SHIT OUT OF LEE!! I should’ve been embarrassed to the max, but let me tell you, Lee really is the nicest guy I’ve met! PERIOD. We chatted about his new Warwick bass and mutual friends we have in Nashville. He even let me try out his new bass, and guess what… It worked. I now own one😁. Thank you again Lee, Judith and Harry for a night I will always remember. BB

Those that are upset are the reason you have had to tolerate a tyrant in power and over 500K dead from the pandemic. Many are those that followed him blindly and disregarded the obvious (perhaps they were unaware he was vaccinated eventually too.). One can only assume the pharmaceutical companies were holding the populace to ransom over money ... it is always about wealth and profits hey. Hopefully another that finally outed him, and the various vaccines produced will bring some relief to US and other countries suffering. What can we say about the anti-vaxxers? Well, no other country will want them visiting (yes, and they are already whining about the unfairness of that). Leland thanks for using your gift of music and RESIST - you came here to Puerto Rico with Phil and were the first show after 2 hurricanes ( and specially the second) blew this place apart.... unfortunately I was unable to go that night - there in spirit as from 2017 - two hurricanes, a governor that blew it + Riots and was forced to resign, a president and congress that blew it in many ways.... and after an earthquake back January this year.. around 5 shakes a day and now this Covid / Confinement...just on a set of walls waiting for the earth to shake any minute.... presidential June primaries that PR can waste their time going to - as we have no right to vote on the presidential ones nor have any congress person elected by PR on the US capitol...- only an ornamental commissioner with no voting rights neither...- yet they can wipe their rear ends with our island... and to make it interesting again - June until November - hurricane season again...I'd say SHINE that sticker.....or better yet - have the Company that makes your bases- make a new 5 string bass with that "RESIST" on 3-D and airbrushed - for those who don't like stickers.... how about that..?? Leland thanks for using your gift of music and RESIST - you came here to Puerto Rico with Phil and were the first show after 2 hurricanes ( and specially the second) blew this place apart.... unfortunately I was unable to go that night - there in spirit as from 2017 - two hurricanes, a governor that blew it + Riots and was forced to resign, a president and congress that blew it in many ways.... and after an earthquake back January this year.. around 5 shakes a day and now this Covid / Confinement...just on a set of walls waiting for the earth to shake any minute.... presidential June primaries that PR can waste their time going to - as we have no right to vote on the presidential ones nor have any congress person elected by PR on the US capitol...- only an ornamental commissioner with no voting rights neither...- yet they can wipe their rear ends with our island... and to make it interesting again - June until November - hurricane season again...I'd say SHINE that sticker.....or better yet - have the Company that makes your bases- make a new 5 string bass with that "RESIST" on 3-D and airbrushed - for those who don't like stickers.... how about that..??
P.S. Congress beat down HR2000 and it did not go anywhere...

Love the sticker and even more I love that you are taking the time to do these videos. This happens to be one of my favorite songs and have always admired your bass skills.
