Remember that the Republican Party is the party of small government. Minimal government = maximum liberty & opportunity. The Democrat Party is always about Progressively expanding government into our lives, our private sector and our property. We need some government. Some.

I met Leland one time after a Judith Owen show at a medium-sized club in Atlanta GA maybe 10 years ago?🤔I got there very early as I was a huge fan of Lee and Judith. I was sitting on the front table all by my lonesome when a stranger came up right before showtime and asked if he could sit with me. He was a man with a slightly receding hairline, short curly hair and genteel eyes. The thing was, I knew I recognized him, but could not place him in my mind. I introduced myself as did he. Now I had just retired the music business in Nashville and I’m proud to say in all humility that I was lucky enough to have worked as a Nashville musician with some of the best, and most of them you know by one name: Dolly, Kenny, Glen, Jerry Reed etc., but very few get to work with the quantity and quality of artists like Leland has. So anyway, the man next to me introduced himself and it was none other than HARRY SHEARER! My jaw dropped because there is no bigger fan of Christopher Guest’s movies than me, and what a wonderful, nice man he was. We had a blast sitting together and enjoying the show. As it turns out he is Judith‘s husband! Part 2 The show was incredible and incredibly intimate. Of course, after the show I had to go backstage and germ Lee.😎”Germ”, (pronounced GURM) I think, is a Nashville term for a bothersome music fan, also a verb. WELL, I GERMED THE SHIT OUT OF LEE!! I should’ve been embarrassed to the max, but let me tell you, Lee really is the nicest guy I’ve met! PERIOD. We chatted about his new Warwick bass and mutual friends we have in Nashville. He even let me try out his new bass, and guess what… It worked. I now own one😁. Thank you again Lee, Judith and Harry for a night I will always remember. BB
