True. I identify most with bisexual with a male preference. But when I show most interest with guys people (even people who I am close to) constantly question if I’m gay. Why don’t people let others be yourselves. I identify most with being bisexual, it’s what I’m comfortable calling myself and what I have long considered myself as. People want to put you in a box or assume they know you more than yourself. Can be frustrating

As a trans guy, I think it's because you're pretty and because you definitely have strong LGBTQ vibes. Also, as someone who is pan, there's no issue with being bi and liking non-binary people, and there's no issue with people defining bi and pan the same way. Things can overlap, there's no need for drama about it. 🤷🏼♂️

I had to pay to change my name lol, it sucked, it wasn’t much but still, I’m happy as Noa though, my deadname definitely caused me to be depressed, my grandparents on my moms side still call me by my deadname, but considering the way they reacted to my sibling coming out, it was far better, I mean they cut all contact to my sibling, but eventually realized that they missed my sibling and so they reconnected with them. When I came out it was a bit of a shock to them, but otherwise told me that they still loved me

tbh I encourage cis people to explore the idea of a name that they feel suits them better. Our parents didn't know who we are when they named us, whether we are trans or cis. So a little extra self-reflection and self-determination seems like a good idea. In most countries you can change your name, and I don't see why we shouldn't pick our own name when we get older.

3:38 yeah like, bi and pan are extremely similar and can be almost the same thing sometimes but it is *always* up to the individual to decide which label they identify best with
when it all comes down to it, these are just labels and if they arent hurting anyone, why should it matter how someone identifies?
The most consistent definitions I've come across are that bisexual people are attracted to multiple genders and gender plays a role in how that attraction manifests, while for pansexuals gender is entirely a non factor.
Which fits perfectly with the reason I stopped identifying as pan and started identifying as bi.
But now I'm realising that my sexuality and also the very concept of gender are all so complex and nebulous that I'm just identifying as queer.

I think its mostly trans people that think you are trans because your style is very queer like piercings, hair, you seem very comfortable with who you are as a person (where most cis men have a lot of toxic masculinity and shit they gotta deal with), your voice is kind of similar to a guy fresh out of puberty which is common with trans masc people and you had a non-descript surgery that you are keeping private. If you are trans then we totally respect that you want to keep it stealth, its hard to be out as trans on any social media. I think a lot of trans people have just been relating to you a lot and wanted to know. If you aren't trans then just keep doing what you're doing, thank you for your allyship.

@@deeplander I mean- yeah. Sexual orientation, like all other parts of our identities, is very personal and varies from one individual to another. So for me, being pansexual means that my attraction to people has no correlation with their gender. The concept of gender doesn’t relate to the ways in which I’m attracted to others - I’m simply attracted to those with the right energy. I see beauty in someone’s entire being, just like I see beauty in nature and in the world around me. This doesn’t mean that I don’t find people physically attractive - just that this attraction doesn’t fall into categories that are related to gender.
