The Sunflower has limited odor removal capability and is primarily designed for dust removal. The lower price point makes it an attractive alternative to technicians primarily concerned with dust. If you are worried about excessive chemical vapor and odor the Nails Source Capture System # 1 would be a much better option. Hope that helps :)

    Hi @finessence808!
The Nails Source Capture System #1 is a professional system designed to remove both nail dust and chemical vapor/odor from the tech's and clients breathing zone. The Sunflower II is designed primarily for nail dust removal and has limited odor removal capability.

@123hollabit The Sunflower II is extremely quiet! The fan is almost inaudible when the machine is running. As for the best wattage option, 99 percent of our customers have chosen the 20w unit for its combination of providing bright light without getting too warm. Check out our website for more details... Thanks!

@uriah425 you can go to our website, find "portable ventilation systems" at the top right of the page and click "Sunflower II promotional package". From there you can order online with no need for a code for the discount. You can also order over the phone by calling us toll free at the number in the video description. Hope that helps! Thanks!

How strong is the vacuum? Is it stronger than a $40 basic nail dust collector ?

Hi Anh Nguyen - The Sunflower II is rated at 135 CFM and provides great suction for nail dust and fine particles. Thanks!

So if I purchase the Nail Source Capture system, I do not need to install other ventilation system in my salon?

OpinionGuy OpinionGuyLast The Nail Source Capture System is what we like to call "zone 1" of the salon that represents a beach ball size sphere around your head that is referred to as your "breathing zone". The system is highly effective at keeping dust and vapor out of that space. Ultimately we would recommend a "3 Zone approach" that includes the source capture, a room unit, and salon-specific HVAC filters. Are you a current salon owner?
