Yes, you can use our dust collector for both acrylic, hard gel or soft gel. Our products are manufactured for US outlets, which are 110 volts. In order to use with 220v, you would need an adapter/converter.

I'm comparing this to the new Valentino and Zephyros Dust Collectors for purchase. What is the "airflow" draw power (CFM) of this unit? With exhaust fans, the stronger but quieter models don't have a fan like the kind you see normally; it's a cylinder so it doesn't "chop" the air - thus quiet but with power. To compare, what is the CFM or similar unit of measurement?
Also, besides this great invention -what kind of filtration system do you guys use or recommend for monomer smell? I’ve been doing research, into looking into buying an nail source capture system to also take care of gases/fumes, but it’s my rent in Tahoe per month Tahoe ha! So I’m trying to choose carefully. Usually the reason the blue light flashes is if the filter isn't pressed in properly or if there is dust in the on/off switch. Check the filter first, and also try using "canned air" to spray the on/off button. This usually cleans the dust out and should start working again. It would pull some of the odor down if you chose to work with your table towel over the machine
If you need to get rid of the smell, look into air purifiers. Some not too pricey at Amazon

Our monomer is such low odor an open window or fan usually is sufficient

Does your room have a window? Buy one of those window fans (usually has 3 heads) and point it outward! Works well as an extractor.
Dust collectors dont help with smell because the smell would just get pushed around the room and not OUT of the room
