@@mandicsa didn’t end up buying it. After reading their reviews online I decided to skip it, especially for that price. I ended up buying the Young Nails one when it had a sale recently so I got it for $120. It’s pretty good. Lightweight and very quiet. Only has 1 speed. That’s the only downside I would say. But so far I like it!
I'm so grateful that there are more companies selling quality dust collectors. Valentino had an entire monopoly😅. It was definitely good for their business, but not for me as a DIYer. Young Nails' dust collector seems to be good as well (based on the few review videos I've watched) and it's priced under $200.
I had the Valentino dust collector which the filter is very thick. I bought the Anemone with the disposable filter and I find it works better in my experience. Also my Valentino was old. It was the first model. I read that the newest model, version 5 is much stronger and less noisy.
I don’t think it does as the quality of the motor and its suction power. Just because it rotates really fast it doesn’t mean it’s suctioning powerfully.
I have the flush mount valentino in my desk, also have the igel beauty phantom and even though u have to charge the igel it works really well, and the valentino filters were very hard to find last year. Please someone recommend a good efile, I’m conflicted about getting a kupa or Medicool. ❤Thank you
OMG I would really love your opinion on the Kiara Sky Dust Collector...I have the purple one and I really don't feel satisfied with it, BUT I don't know if that perhaps is just my high expectations on expensive products lol
I am also disappointed with the Kiara Sky Dust Collector. My Area is almost as dust as before I bought this machine(a few months ago). Plus, it is very loud. I have had several clients complain about it being too loud. It has not lived up to the hype, imo. I’m still searching for an effective, affordable solution to the dust issue.
@@naildoctormdI’m looking for an another option too. The KS is a horrible unit!! Loud, small grill area and poor suction!! The KS was a waste of my money.
Thank you so much for the video 🙏🏼 so very helpful ❤ I have a question about the anemone one, how long does the battery last? I am a professional nail tech but I only have about 3-5 clients per week maximum. Thank you again for such a thorough video 🙏🏼 ( I am currently using Melody Susie 2-in-1 and it works just fine, it’s just that I am looking to go cordless because I am constantly tripping over them 😅)
It seems fantastic! I’ve seen it in action at a show. Comparable to the VBP (Valentino). It’s also wider because if I remember correctly, there’s two suction areas (fans). I thought about adding it to the line up but I’d figure giving you the 7 factors using what I have already used would help you make a wise informed decisions easier ☺️
Can you do a review on the new Apres dust collector?? I really want to get that one but can’t find a legit review.
Any luck with the apres one? 🤷🏻♀️

Yes! For a while VBP sort of ran a monopoly on these! I’m glad you found an option that works for you.
Sometimes I think the algorithm reads my mind!!! Currently waiting on my first ever "self employed" tax return, cant wait to reinvest lol

Thank you for this!
I’ve had a few Vs and the newest is definitely an improvement, even though it’s made out of plastic now.
Quick question, does the watts on a product make a difference?

Hi Paola, thank you for all of the wonderful information as always
Glad it was helpful!
Is this the Gen 4 or Gen 5 Valentino?

Hmm both are good options! I would personally go with price between the two.

My opinions are in this video 😬 Just apply them to your unit of choice.

In my studio primarily for my use only, it lasts a few days w/o charge.
I know for nail techs it lasts at least a day of clients.
@@PaolaPonceNails thank you 🙏🏼 💕💜 this is really helpful!
Super helpful! What do you think of the Shemax?
