    I lost 20kg following your workouts and changing my diet within 1 1/2 year ! I want to say thank you for being so motivating! And to anyone out there trying to get fit - remember a fit body doesn’t come fast and quick and you will have up and downs but kept at it never give up!

      @@pushpaparmar655 Hey thank you! I actually followed the 8-week-home-workout-plan-to-lose-weight-tone-up on repeat as best as I could from joanna you can download it for free from her website somewhere! And diet wise I started counting calories to around 1700 and ate like 20 carb 30 fat 50 protein (mainly boneless chicken breast, veggies) if i ate anything in general i just made sure its not processed food and at some point i stopped counting calories and ate just how it felt healthy! Its not easy especially in holiday seasons with family etc. haha but its ok to slip up! Id even say its mandatory to stay motivated!

    My upper arm muscles are a bit sore now after doing this, so saved the video to my exercise playlist to practice more (hopefully twice a week) :D You are one of my favorite fitness instructors on RUclips, Joanna

      @@theialx Hi there! I am also a beginner in anything that involves arm work, haha :) As I can't do pushups, I modified some parts to suit my abilities. I hope to build my strength by regular practice though.

      Hi Maia! Is this lesson for men also? I am a man and I started this lesson but it was so difficult 😞I could only manage with 1 lb (half kg) dumbbells but my arms just gave up and I stopped at around the 5 minutes mark😟I wish I can be strong, muscular, and empowered!

      @@rupinjeremiah9589 Hi there, I'd suggest starting slow, probably look for beginner exercises. I guess I should do the same, this one is a bit intense for me to do on a regular basis :/

    What a great workout! I am a beginner and this gives me confidence that with time I’ll be able to perform better. Legs workout is where I’m struggling.

      Wow! I am a man. My mother-in-law does this workout regularly!! Her biceps are absolutely solid muscle like Joanna's!! I arm-wrestled my MIL but could not even move her arm even with both my arms together!! 😟

    your workout videos are awesome and very effective. I have been doing strength training systematically at home with your videos.
    here, I request you to make videos on barbell workouts, proper barbell usage, and full body strength training with barbells, it would be helpful because you teach us systematically with proper form and postures.

    Johanna I have doubt pls clarify this . 40 percentage of protein,30 percentage of fat and 30 percentage of carbs good for fat loss . After taking protein in 40 percentage I have nausea pls clarify this and I only do strength training. Wheather I can follow this macro nutrition for fat loss or change it

    Does 4 days of 45min brisk walk and 2 or 3 days of skipping for 15 mins good for weight loss? Is skipping good for toning hands and shoulders?

    Iam having a problem and i don't know what's going on in my stomach
