Discovering your channel was easily the best gaming event of the year for me! Found so many gems through your recommendations. Thanks for putting out so many wonderful videos!
i love watching your videos because it keeps reminding me just how many incredible games there are out there that dont get advertised to hell and back. theres so many cool games out there and its amazing. also i like your style because you very plainly talk about the games and dont make a whole speech about it. you kinda let the games do the talking, while just highlighting basic points. informative without being soap-boxy or too opinionated. very pleasant.
@@Beaudman Because you actually have the newest version of RUclips, you are a Participant without knowing you are one. Its one of the newest Features of RUclips, noone asked for. More information: *_RUclips Is FORCING Comments To Have Links_* I believe you, even though i do not see a link, because my RUclips does not even look like youtube anymore. (modded Stylus Retrowave Theme).
Very much so a similar year for me. A lot of my time also went toward games played with friends (Lockdown Protocol, Pilgrim), expansions and updates (Factorio, Core Keeper), and smaller games from creators I respect (4D Golf, Mind Over Magnet). A lot of titles released or went on sale recently too. One I have an eye on is Threshold right now. It reminds me of Grunn gameplay-wise, though with a smaller level and more restrictive gameplay loop.
I wish I had more times for more games xD The list is packed with great indies, but there are a tons more each year with unique ideas, next year will be a blast as you said ! Thanks for the year of discovery !
Your channel has been a gem of a find for me, we have like the same wavelength in terms of games! I've found so many neat little titles by your recommendation, and also for the hell of it here are two of my own! Broken reality and the Sludge life series, two different exploration games that are stylized as hell!
Cool to see a list with a lot of new releases. I myself am still far from the point of only or even mostly playing the newest games. There are simply so many classic games from before I started playing to ever get to that point.
Without looking up on internet, I can only unravel around 50% of what Lorelei and laser eyes has to offer. The piano puzzle was one of the most important ones in my gameplay, after solving it with the help of a hint, I made a lot of breakthroughs afterwards.
Overwhelmed by the the sheer amount of content a Game has to over? Well in my Case(pun intended) *_Lost Judgment_* is the Game i instantly remember, after hearing that sentence from you, the Content of the Game really is Huge, there are pretty well done Schoolsidestory´s with minigames that some of them could very well be a Game of itself, especially the Boxing sidequest was a Blast. But yea Content sure is the speciality of Games in the Yakuzua-verse, also one can play many Sega-Mastersystem or Arcade Games in these titles. (merciless as these are known for)
My year in games Threads of fate,portrait of ruin,metal gear solid,crash bandicoot,klonoa door to phantomile,dawn of sorrow,witcheye,donkey kong country 2,sonic the hedgehog,comix zone,rocket knight adventures,the revenge of shinobi,megaman x ,sotn,soul blazer
I remember Threads of fate, it really was a Blast mid-past, one of the Best PS1 JRPG´s imho, even its OST still sounds great today. For some reason i remember the Game and also Breath of Fire 4 by listening to Maple Story´s _Forgetfulness_ Track, i wonder what you remember? (Maple Story also has quite good ost, even though i didnt play the mmo)

glad to have ya along for the ride :)
As someone who dosent have time and energy to play, that video was weirdly comforting? It was a good listening to it, thanks
glad you enjoyed! wanted to do something a bit more "meaningful" than just my standard list video
It's crazy to see your growth this year, almost 13k!

You might like Mouthwashing - only a couple of hours long but a very unique and memorable experience.
Your year was very similar to mine, with one big exception. Astrobot! It's pure joy, and such an amazing game!
That's weird. Why did astrobot turn into a link on my last post?

Interesting. I've seen that "feature" on different forums throughout the internet, and I'm not a fan of it. Thanks for letting me know!

the demo for Threshold had a super cool atmosphere, definitely on my list!
Great video as always. I really enjoy your style, both comforting but also with poignant prose. I look forward to your videos next year!

I have played the first Sludge Life game! very weird game :)

Yeah i have so many older titles on my wishlist, too. i want to use my downtime this winter to finally get into some classics, maybe ff7 to start
I also played signalis this year and i saw a 2 hour vdo on it and it has become on my fav video
