Ida Haendel Plays Sibelius Violin Concerto

Ida Haendel is the Only Violinist that has a Special Recommendation from the Composer, after having heard her play his Concerto via Helsinky Radio prodcast. He wrote her the following " Please accept my most cardial thanks for your excellent performance of my Violin Concerto. You play it masterfully in every respect. I congratulate you upon the great success . But above all, I Congratulate myself that my Concerto has found an Interprerer of you Standart "

Thank you so much I'm a big fan of hers!!! She plays so magnificiently, Sibelius is right on this... His concerto is wonderful! In addition, Ida Haendel is one of the rare violinists to perform as much and with no deterioration in her playing still at 80 something... Pretty impressing! Bravo to her and thanks Mozart!!!

Of coarse you mean her recording with Barbirolli, meanwhile Daniel Barenboim recorded the Concerto with her, but it was a so big Failure.
