      The CD that includes the performance of this concerto by Paganini, and in addition the fantastic exotic and gorgeous Butterfly Lovers concert and Sunshine over Tashkurgen is already out.
      It will be released on Apple Music on 26 July. Just 10 days to wait!

      Mozart isn't effortless! His violin music (and other work) just requires a very different kind of effort, based on subtlety instead of the astonishing pyrotechnics that she pulls off with such ease and, apparently, enjoyment 🙂

    I have watched Chloe in the less-than-serious episodes with TwoSet, and knew she was pretty good. But *_this_* ... I am speechless. That smile she shared with the conductor at the end, they both knew what she had just accomplished.

      In particular, they knew what she had accomplished in the formidable 25 minute first movement, which had included the notorious Sauret cadenza.
      Compared to that, this finale is just a warm-down!

    While amazingly talented let's not kid ourselves behind this is an incredible amount of practice and hard work. She has put in more time in practice than most masters. It also takes an incredible amount of humility to become so good. Simply splendid and amazing.

      it is called a harmonic. to my knowledge, all stringed instuments have harmonics. I don't know the exact science behind it, but by lightly touching the string in exactly the right spot the musician can produce a light, high pitched sound that vibrates through the instrument.

    I have never heard anything so beautiful! Technically brilliant and soooo much personality. That beautiful smile when she acknowledges the conductor! Chloe looks like she is enjoying every second. For someone who is not a great fan of the violin, I am transcended!

      Her bow is unusually tight, which probably helps a bit, especially with the spiccato. There's a bit more to it than that, though, to put it mildly. I could tighten my bow that much and sill not come within a million miles of her. Utterly astonishing!

      These past three years Chloe has outperformed the living violinists you mention (who are a very mixed bag).
      In so far as you speak of e.g. Chen and Bell in the same breath as Chloe you have no idea what you are talking about.

      @@jackburgess8579 There is no way in the world Ray Chen is worse than Chloe. Bell, for that matter, is also far more experienced. I have been physically to several of her concerts, in Singapore, and while she is definitely very talented, she is not as good as the soloists I mentioned e.g. Shaham, Hadelich, Kavakos, and Vengerov.

      I however have to add that she played this much slower than the 5 years younger Himari ruclips.net/video/DS7Vbp4OwlA/видео.html And it doesn't sound rushed at all by Himari.
