Love the TRD offroad emblem but imo thats too many badges you should have just removed the chrome and left it like that! Great detailed video
Bought a pair of the Tacoma blacked out badges with a V6 as well for less then $20 on Amazon.
Take a spray bottle an a razer blade an scrape off the remaining stuff, if ya good at the right angle an pressure it will be a breeze!~
I saw a Tundra on the forums the guy rattle canned the badges with antique bronze krylon . Looked amazing 👊
Those Emblems are 2nd gen . The font is different than the 3rd gen.

The black is way nicer than the chrome. But I don't like chrome so there's that. Great job.

Sorry! I think amazon changed it to a different product, this vids pretty old but I am still using these cheap amazon emblems on my Tacoma and holding up great to this day a couple years later.

What was the mixture you used to remove the googone?
Just an isoproplyene alcohol diluted down with water. Works great after you use googone to make sure to get rid of all that chemical residue it leaves after

I put plastic tailgate letters on my 2018 and never a problem. I just got a 2021 and used the same letters in the video. They are so much nicer than what I had before. If you clean your surface thoroughly 3M tape is there to stay.
Before the badge swap did you ever think about doing plasti dip at all? Guessing that a vinyl would have been way too difficult. Any interior mods in the works?
I did all the plasti dip actually on my old WRX! It lasted over 3 years, very good!! I just figured these would be better and cheaper honestly, like the can of plastidip was $23 here too, so it's like the same cost and less work!

Your badge is 2nd gen tacoma badge. It's a lot shorter. 3rd gen badge should be 13.5 inches long.
