An unspecting surprise, but okay. Before I played this game, I played Battle of Warships and they had fighters. But the fighters were not present on carriers. When I joined Blitz, I was surprised of the lack of planes on these ships.
While nice to have I am not convinced that the fire range extension brought out by this scout plane is going to be of practical use in games since wg does not know how to program and render moving objects at a range of farther than 15-16km properly. Everything just stutters at such a long distance.
I was worried how they were going to work in the scout plane. I really like how they worked that into the game. DFA did a good video on this as well. The scout plane can be shot down so there is some timing issues when you use it. Hopefully we see that on some other ships!
We actually played a match together a few weeks ago and played great as a team. I played mogami and you played Odin on that map completely covered in little islands where you and my fleet mate pushed into their capture circle while me and another team mate held our left flank. We basically caught their whole team in cross fire the whole match I believe.
Something to note, on the scout plane actually improves your dispersion on pc at the shorter ranges due to the coding where dispersion stays the same at the longest range even with the scout plane up. If that makes sense. I would assume it's the same on blitz
Nice review. I was really wanting to see if it would spot a DD. I’m one of those BB players that Load HE at the beginning of a match if I know the cap I’m going to is going to have a DD. An hope the CV will pay attention to me pinging the map. I have the regular Yamato an it personally looks like the better choice. An yes the regular Yamato with the camo an slot one aiming mod, has alot better dispersion. I’m glad you did the review even though you said you wouldn’t lol. I’m glad I waited for your review. It doesn’t look like a T10 game changer. I’m still mad at W/G for the Vermont nerf. Everyone that complained didn’t have the ship or had a reason why they didn’t play it. What would you suggest we do if we want a buff? Don’t kremlin my Vermont.
Scout planes are definitely interesting. It does get frustrating when an opposing enemy ship disappears behind an island so that everybody on your team except you can shoot him.
I hope all bbs in the upper tiers get this new spotter plane mechanic. It will definitely make rooting out cruisers who are tucked in behind islands a bit easier
As a cruiser player, I'd hope not ;) But I don't think this will be confined to premiums, most new mechanics, like fuel smokes, carpet bombers or secondary boosters, were introduced in premiums, and then applied to tech trees.
@@FunandGameswithTerry I'm usually a DD main, but dds and cls are my worst nightmare (if you exclude carriers, that's a whole other topic) I can't tell you how many times I've come around the corner of an island and see a smoke screen pop up and know there are torps I can't really dodge coming my way. That spotter plane can really come in handy spotting both the sneaky DD and CL before you eat a face full of either torps, HE spam, or both.
Spotter planes won’t spot the target so it has to be spotted already, fighters and AA will target the spotter plane. Not sure if it gets shot down on the first use if you have a back up plane for the second use though.
This should be standard on all tier 10 BBs and they need to fix that drawing distance if they're going to have ships that can shoot that far. That said, I hope they don't put in the Dead Eye Captain skill.
Can you please advocate for the community in trying to get the bots fixed? Alternatively they could give us the option to not play against bots. FYI it’s approximately $AUD800 to buy boxes for the black Yamamoto
Excellent question. I don't think you'd have one up if there's anything close enough that it'd be in AA range, but fighters might work against it, although I'd have to guess.
Bro 500$ and it’s not even guaranteed to get it. 1% chance 2k per create. 18k for 10 creates if it takes 100 creates that would be 175k gold. Definitely not worth it.
Yeah, I don't touch crates myself, but it's up to everyone to decide. I inform, so people can make informed decisions :) Also, I was curious about the spotter plane mechanic.
Great Review as always! But i dont get this thing from crates. I also got the midway yesterday. 2 attacks with 2 Bomber squads on a Kurfürst. Only 4 Hits and no fires(how did they miss a Kurfürst wtf). Im Kino of disappointed. And Asashio was on sale. While T8 respawn. Defintitly not op. Farming new personal damage records (why does this thing has 12.5 km range on the torps? (Shima:10.2))
Only the fancy camo has dispersion plus weak rapid reload instead of amazing accuracy.. haha Most maps arent 18km omg the plane is skill for des moines
Regarding the camo paint wg pulled off the same trick with the thunderer. The standard 'historical' camo is more for a cruiser than for a battlecruiser/BB proper if one wants more accuracy then one needs to buy the hideous anime camo for 8k gold.
Your audio is 3-5 seconds ahead of the video. Not sure whether it’s my phone's problem, but please check it. Also, Des Moines needs a buff on range, it’s hopelessly outranged by everything it has to fight.
I have no definite intel on that, but I would assume so. The past new ship skills have always been started on premiums, and eventually made it into tech tree lines - fuel smokes, level bombers, secondary overload, ...
This Scout plane skill looks interesting! Hopefully it will be added on some other ships :)
Now that we have the spotter plane mechanic I really hope that it will get added to some tech tree ships and not behind a pay wall
If the previous new consumables are anything to go by, probably. They did that with fuel smoke, level bombers, secondary overload...
An unspecting surprise, but okay.

In DFA video spotter plane increase you're spotting range and it can be shoot down by aa and chase by fighters
This player in the first battle. zzzzzzz
Man he plays good. Played with and against him so many a time. He is really good. Hats off
Great video. The scout plane looks interesting. I have a request. Next week, in honor of December 7, could you possibly do a review of the Arizona
That's a great idea.
If your feeling well
I honestly would love to see this as the Arizona is my favorite ship and because I love ww2 history. Hell I like history in general.
@@Shadowviperplays my fav ship is the mighty Mo

100$ gets u 20 creates at a 1% chance it’s highly unlikely your getting the ship. It’s closer to 500$ and still not guaranteed.

Been waiting for this one
This video makes me want to grind the tech tree Yammer! 😀

to be fair, the rendering issue has been present before this. Another reason I don't quite like playing backrow sniper BBs :)

In the PC version they can be shot down, including fighters and spotters launched from ships, I do not know in the blitz version.
Huh, interesting to see how it works

This is probably a very stupid question but how do you get so much resources with a premium account ?
Scout planes eh? Maybe catapult fighters are next
How come when I look at the Yamato it says 50k hit points and the damage is only 1900k the black Yamato stats are way better on my game.
did you check with the comparison tool? Tech tree Yama isn't upgraded by default, but Black Yama is a premium, and as such, fully upgraded.
@@FunandGameswithTerry no I don’t have either ship
Combining a scout plane with American high angle firing arcs could make it hard to hide behind an island.

Yeah, sums it up imo. I'm curious to see where else we're going to see spotters

You even played cvs but still did not review ita cruisers @Terry.
I've reviewed Venezia and Montecuccoli, Trento probably coming up on Thursday, if I can get it ready in time
Black t10 ship
from what i saw in rapltors video, the dispersion doesnt look as good as normal yama
I can't really tell, because I haven't played the regular Yama much, but it looks a bit average. Still not a huge problem to do 100k with those guns.
