Funny how it turned out to be better, Gordon thought he had it all laid out with his 24 hour bread and his dried cranberries. The simpler recipe with raisins and regular custard uncooked because it's already cooking in the oven, turned out to be better because it was simpler.

Stewards enquiry... 6:40 the first dish only had dark raisins on it which Al cooked & they didn't like & said was "too soggy". The second dish which they prefered had red flecks on it of which Gordon garnished his with which they did prefer. The results where clearly edited for "comedy value".... but as the old saying goes "don't let the truth get in the way of a good story" lol. the actual result was Gordon won. .....Looks _can_ be deceiving.

Yes! I am glad someone else noticed. Gordon has an amazing palette and he is all about elevating a simple dish . He didn’t do much but sure his brought the components together. I went to his restaurant in London for a father’s day last year with my dad and we both enjoyed it a lot :)

Mia if you happen to notice when you see the clip, the first dish haves black dots (the raisings), which they didn't like and said it was too soggy, and the second dish haves red dots (the shit that Gordon used on his pudding), which they liked. The results were changed for comedic reasons. You can even tell them apart just by looking at the color of each dish. Just a couple of things you notice when you have eyes.

To people think that gordon lost, the result's rigged. The 1st dish is clearly al's and the 2nd dish is gordon's. Look clearly at 2nd dish which has cranberries that gordon put on top of his.
Also to people saying he's lost his talent as a chef and that he's cooking for foodies, if gordon were to only ever cook for foodies rest assured only 'foodies' would be eating at his restaurant and the rest 99% of his customers that are commoners would not. He would lose money faster than a drop of water in the sahara. And im pretty sure normal people come to eat at his restaurant because they like the food, not gordon ramsay in particular. Also pretty sure that he cooks on a daily basis and atleast most if not all of his restaurants have his green light on their respective menus, i mean the guy trained the head chefs.
