I have been successfully coaching family businesses for the past 15 years and have been using the Intensive Group Coaching Technique with tremendous impact and outcomes. My largest group comprised of 28 family members who were all on the Board of Directors of a large Family Business, was a stupendous exercise lasting 3 days of over 16 hours each day, which wrung out emotions, outbursts and feelings like a Bollywood movie. Thank you so much for expanding my understanding of the other models. Will try them in my upcoming sessions.
Oh. So that's how you srart a group coaching program. I'm still in the middle of start your coaching business journey. I'll do things one step at a time. Thank you for the amazing content.
Exactly! I am right there with you Mavic! At least we know some tips and knowledge on what it means and how to do it. One day we will get there! Have a blessed day!
So thankful that you have shared this knowledge. I have been coaching but recently decided to do a health and wellness group coaching session. I had a basic idea of a weekly topic to teach. It is a smaller group 6-7. I love the idea of bringing someone to the front of the group to share. Each of the individuals are outgoing so no matter whom I choose it feels like it will be a positive experience for everyone. So thankful I found your videos. This is an area that I’ve been struggling with my coaching. 😊
This was so helpful! I’m currently doing group coaching with very small groups (4-5 people). I’ve been doing a course style format, but I feel I’ve been doing more teaching than coaching; I plan to change that using the info I learned here!

Im watching ur videos they are more real words to understand society nd pur own instincts . Im going to ready for my business nd ur session helpful so I watch daily
I want to bring all the stakeholders for a product together so that together we can make the product more sustainable. I've been thinking about doing a group format for a while and was still unclear on how best to approach it. Now I think a mastermind group would be fitting because everyone has the same problem. Your video really helped me gain clarity on how to approach this. Thank you so much!!!
This is amazing, Ny! We're so glad it was valuable. We'd also recommend watching this video on running a group coaching program: ruclips.net/video/4nRjseR0UX4/видео.html. Thanks for sharing ❤
Helpful, thanks. This is the first video I've found that actually gives some insight into how to run a group coaching program, rather than being mainly an ad. 👍
Thanks for this video! I'm just having a little trouble visualising the "relate" portion, could you give an example as to how you would relate back to the group midway through coaching an individual?
That's a great question, Angeline! What Coach Ajit means with "relating back to the group" is to share key insights and highlights with the rest of the group while or after coaching one of the group members. So, for example, if the group coaching program is about learning how to coach, you can coach 1 person in front of everyone and then pause to make emphasis on what happened, a tool, a reaction, a follow-up, something that the rest of the group (who are only observing) can relate to, and can be a point of discussion for the whole group afterward. So it's about engaging the rest of the group so it doesn't feel like a 1-1 with an audience, but an actual group coaching session where there's interaction and group learning. Let us know if this answers your question! Thanks for sharing ❤
Thank you Ajit. I am developing group coaching around the issues of healthy life habits. Also creating a group coaching experience for singles exploring characteristics of their ideal spouses and dispelling with myths of marriage. This confirms much of what I have been thinking. I like the model of curating content, creating context, coaching and facilitating group discussion. I am considering a maximum limit of 6 people in the group to start with. This will add greater value and greater interaction. Praying for wisdom.
Thank you very much. This was very helpful. I have been doing 1:1 model for the last two years. The video is timely for me as I now want to introduce group coaching for my clients. I realise I have partly been using the train, coach relate approach for my support groups. This video will help me in honing my skills. Thanks again Ajit.

Yes! I want to do a group program to help people reduce their ADHD symptoms through dietary therapy. I already do this one on one but I think a group would be so fun.
Sounds amazing! Group coaching programs can create a beautiful support system in an intimate setting and can be more powerful for participants. Thanks for sharing :)
Thank you for sharing your insights. I like the group intensive type of group coaching and believe that could be used for Leadership Development at the Corporate Level, an area I wish to embark on. Any additional assistance/insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Ajit for all that you share.

I am a current student of the course"start your coaching business in 21 days" but this program is all about prerecorded videos and content and journals. I didn't get any live sessions with the Coach so far😔. I am in my 3rd week of this program.
Hi Shivani! Unfortunately, our Start Your Coaching Business program does not include or offer a live coaching session. You do, however, get a recorded live group call with Ajit and you can practice coaching and get feedback with your tribe. We hope you are enjoying the material ❤
This was very helpful! I've always wanted to start group sessions vs 1:1. Currently I've decided to start back working in my field as a chiropractor with a company that provides great work/life balance while I coach my clients on the same! This gave some great ideas. My favorite is the course/coach hybrid model. I will also use some of these for my facebook group. Thank you so much for sharing this! And I'm super excited to hear about your coaching starter/refresher program. This is a great addition for the profession of coaching.
This is so awesome, Kimberly! The course/coach model is definitely a great choice to impact more people in less time and grow your business. You can learn more about it here: ruclips.net/video/e07AXB9Wk-A/видео.html. And you can learn more about starting your coaching business in 21 days here: go.evercoach.com/nDfy8Ajx. Thanks for the amazing content Ajit! I'm just starting my journey as a coach and I'm very excited. But I don't know where to start or how. Would you recommend to start with one-on-one or group coaching for a beginner?
Great question, Linet! We definitely suggest starting with one-on-one coaching so you can hone your coaching skills first and build your confidence and methodology as a new coach. We also suggest joining our Start Your Coaching Business quest where we show you the exact step-by-step to launch your coaching business in only 21 days - and right now, you can join with a full scholarship. Learn more about it here: go.evercoach.com/Ev-4H7kO :)
Ajith, could you please deconstruct or elaborate on how does the live coaching call happens or is held for a group?! I am not able to picture how coaching should/would happen for a group…. Thank you so much!!:)
Great question! We believe you'll find these two videos useful in addressing your questions. The first video (ruclips.net/video/BySYryDS17s/видео.html) covers how to structure each live call, and the second video (ruclips.net/video/4nRjseR0UX4/видео.html) offers 3 different models you can choose from to define what type of group program you want to build and how to deliver it. We hope this helps!
Just watched a training and the coach said when constructing a group program start before constructing the whole thing and create as you go-thoughts on this? That it should be based on what questions will start coming up to know what to create next for the next session? Talking about when you are creating a group coaching program for the first time
Hi Ajit, I am holding a mastermind soon and wanted to ask if there was a platform you recommended using? it will be on zoom for the meetings but I was thinking telegram to stay connected?
Great question! Telegram is a great platform for connection and communication. There's also Facebook Groups, Whatsapp or Slack, and many other apps depending on what you need and the size of the group. But Telegram is a great choice if you're experimenting.
great video and content, Ajit. You've earned a subscriber. One suggestion - slow down a bit. You speak quite fast and run through concepts too quickly. If you can slow down and expand more on the points, I think it would really elevate message retention.
I agree that it’s so helpful having at least one person who has experienced your coaching. They can actually vouch for you and be the one gathering others.
It's just the perfect timing for me to watch this video - I'm planning my first mastermind meeting for next week.
