10 Minute Isometric Leg Workout at Home

Following the popular isometric core workout (link below), this is a 10 minute isometric routine for you all to try at home!
Trust me, it is harder than it looks!!!
There are 20 exercises, all 30 seconds each. Simply try to relax whilst holding the position. It is follow along with notification of what is next.
Make sure you warm up before beginning. Simply come out of hold as bad when you need to... the fact we begin with 3 sets of wall sit variations really pumps the blood to your thighs straight away!
The exercises are as follows:
Wall sit
Single leg wall sit
Single leg wall sit
Squat hold
Sumo squat
Plié squat
X over squat
X over squat
Squat tip toes
Lunge tip toes
Lunge tip toes
Glute bridge abduction
Glute bridge abduction
Hamstring walk hold
Donkey kick
Donkey kick
Leg raise
Leg raise
Side raise
Side raise
When performing the glute movements, really SQUEEZE the glutes. With the donkey kicks, aim to push the heel to the ceiling!
This isometric leg workout is suitable for everyone as you can adapt each hold to your capabilities. Just try and breath!

Beside your sessions that are fantastic, I must underline that I love your professional way of presenting them. Including the clock, the beeps, the tips, and the little picture of the next exercise... and above all, the fact that no one speaks - or usually screams - during the exercices. I'm really fed up with all these trainers that scream pretending to encourage us. You are just smiling, nice and quiet. I really appreciate it and can fully concentrate on the exercices. Unfortunately I discovered you only after the confinement. But later is better than never 😊

I couldn't agree more Suzanne. Well said. Everything Caroline presents is so professional and well put together. Like you I prefer the silent encouraging approach, however you ALWAYS feel as though you're there in the room with Caroline, she makes the workout inclusive, and exclusive all at the same time, just you and Caroline dedicated time to working out with your personal trainer 👍✔️👌💯
I just wanted to thank you for these workouts! I have hypermobility disorder and doing regular workouts can cause trauma to my ligaments and joints. After doing these workouts I can achieve muscle soreness without pain in my joints. Love it :)
Don’t let the 10 minute leg workout fool you even if you are advanced. Holy mackerel, it was great. I am an average exercise enthusiast, but I am up to the challenge.
When it comes to home workouts, particularly bodyweight, I would look no further than this channel! So grateful that all this content is free!

Wow it is truly a blessing that i found you. I have been playing basketball for 15 years now and though i have very strong leg muscles i had knee problems due to lack of stablizator muscles and ligament strength. Just getting into isometrics and am very happy to see such high quality content. Thanks a lot 😁😁😁

Caroline, I'm enjoying your workouts so much. They are well-planned, with good music, the timer clock, etc. I was wondering if you would consider putting together a monthly workout calendar, with a month's workouts planned for us, so we know what workouts to do and how often?
Hello Beth! Super! These are my daily workouts and how I train.. I do have routine in that I complete HIIT every Sunday! In the Community section, there is a post with suggested weekly training schedule and relevant workouts! I hope this helps! Cx

Hi Caroline, Thank you again. This was good...like your isometric abs one it is harder than it looks. Actually it didn’t help that my legs were sore from doing your 1000 rep squat challenge yesterday. I really enjoyed the squat challenge...you sort of get into the exercises and the time passes a bit like running. In the squat challenge the second exercise where you don’t fully straighten the knees was killing, as were the pulses at the end. I’m glad you made it 1000 reps rather than 500 because I felt it was the second round that really worked your legs hard. Just a thought but I wondered about a similar challenge where you perhaps mixed up squats and lunges a bit. Hope all is well for you...thanks for all your hard work in making these videos. They really help during lockdown. Matthew x

The isometric workout is easier on the joints but not so much on the muscles!!
Yes, those squats without bringing the hips in really keep a lot of tension on those thighs!

Hey I really like this workout, but should I do this before my actual leg day workout (deadlifts, squats, hip thrusts etc) as a warm up or after as a burn out? 😊

This is one of her older workouts. In the newer ones she puts up the next movement on the screen and moves faster
