Just because a professional designed something, doesn't mean you can't design something better. No one is perfect and everyone has their own creative thoughts. You've done amazing things with your previous projects and this one is no different.

I also thought you now have parts to use for that outdoor shower, providing you didn’t bury them under all that “monkey business” from the ceiling! My skin was crawling for you as it fell! Yours are always the first and most highly anticipated videos I come to look for! Not always “good clean fun” to expect from you, but definitely a lot of dirty wholesome, honest hard work, and play!! You do the hyperbole and oxymoron justice. So impressive!!😂❤

Please correct me if I'm wrong, as I only got a brief view of the subfloor. It appears that you have an actual plywood subfloor! You really lucked out as had it been actual particle board that was used so much back then. I don't think the subfloor would have been in such good order. You're certainly very flexible. 😂 You make it look easy! At my age, if I attempted crawling up into the rafters like that, I'd be in the emergency room! Lol! What was barely knocked together can be knocked apart with a little determination and drive. At least, with a full scale demolition you can emerge from the mess with sore legs and arms, but a clean starting place. It is easy to forget the building has been collecting troubles for nearly 40 years. You are undoing its suffering in a few weeks. You are giving yourself a clean, clear space to go forward and build a better 2020s layout, it is the way to go.

Since you're reworking the floor plan, anyway, have you considered putting the back through room on the back corner wall? You could make the bathroom large enough for necessities, plus the washer dryer, and then the wall to a larger storage closet. This will increase the storage space for the whole trailer. As you probably already know, storage space in the building like that is at a premium. If the door opens in to the hallway, it becomes a bathroom for the whole unit. Or you could close it off into the master suite with a small toilet and sink bathroom in the front near the living room. Actually, that might be very good. Being able to advertise Bedroom suite could make it much more salable. And I will only put one extra bedroom so if you guys save it for a rental, you don't have to rent to people with 10 kids. A retired couple would love something like that. Retired people are much easier to rent to and keep property in decent order from people with a bunch of kids.

Those are my favorite spiders! I think they look bejeweled where their legs join their body. I let one live in a corner of my bathroom window for several years. I called her bathroom spider and would occasionally toss a tiny bug into her web. I just cleaned around her and occasionally would remove her web to clean the corner well, then she would rebuild. Despite all that, I cannot stand roaches. 😅
