So psyched that you reviewed this. I picked one up at the start of the year and just loved it. Was on it all the time. I learned the drum basics that way, so when I upgraded to a Nitro Mesh, I knew what I was doing. I was impressed with the sounds that come preloaded in the Pyle. Im 22 and ive loved instruments all my life and tried a lot, only instrument i feel i master ok is Drums (and im still bad at it) but yeah ive loved Drums all my life and ive mostly been fingerdrumming in GarageBand , but in my early early days around first grade i had an Electronic drum set pad and ah the sound of early 2000s Electronic drum set pads... not good, thats why when lately i try to Get more serious or «serious» into edrumming and needing a very compact, desktop size kit i initially got disappointed by the design of today’s edrum pads...they look just like I remember my pad set from 2004/5 ish looked like! But as others comment here, what a sound! I’m actually really impressed, I guess it’s not a full midi set I can connect to my Mac and superior drummer 3 so I’m at least very positively surprised by those pre-set sounds! Seriously considering buying this now 🤔🤔🥁🥁🪘
Does the sound come through the headphones and speakers? Or can you isolate the sound to only come out the headphones? Looking for the ability to practice quietly without disturbing others in the house… thanks
I just bought my second of these. The first lasted 4 years. I ordered an upgraded version that wasn't nearly as capable as this model so I returned it.
Getting very quiet would be tough. It does have some dynamic range, but it's not like a real set. Of course it's electronic, so you could also just turn the volume down, haha.
Interesting…. Been needing some sort of electronic drum kit for personal home studio use etc. I had discounted using anything like this. But after watching your video I’m re-evaluating that previous conclusion…. Think I would still prefer a basic proper E-Drum kit, but this is looking like a distinct option.
that song sounds like .... Edie Breckel & the new bohemians lol. ...... Im considering this drums set ....... but every brand I settle on, theres people in the comments talking it down & accusing them of using a fake drum sound in the video ....... This kit sounded pretty good. Any complaints after having it for a while? pads not working , pedal broke etc ????
I gave this to my friend a while ago. I haven't heard him say it broke or anything, but I don't know how much he uses it. As far as negative comments, it's RUclips, everyone hates everything. haha.

My only complaint would be the pedals which are pretty rudimentary.

You mentioned you are getting pedals for this unit coz you are not using the stock ones. May i know which kind of pedal are you goint to replace it with?
Right out of the box, this unit is definitely nicer than the Konix. I realize the other review is on a microphone, but this one is obviously more responsive, looks nicer and the samples are better quality. It's not a massive difference, but I would say worth the small price difference.
@@demonicsweaters my ultimate conclusion is they seem most practical for a dedicated drummer who will be on the road or somewhere else without a drum set for a significant length of time, so these can help one get their fix. I'm a dedicated guitarist, but can play the drums fairly well when I practice for a few weeks. As another reviewer pointed out and I agreed, these aren't actually a whole lot of fun to play lol. Full sized electronics and obviously acoustics sure are though. I bought a Casio thinking I would use it for recording when I didn't want to use my electronic or acoustic set, but ended up learning to program sequencers really well instead which was the better option.
@@demonicsweaters Cool, I went ahead and bought an Alesis Compact - very similar I am sure as the linked video suggests all similar manufacturer. Here's an idea. If you were to get a y splitter for the bass pedals. Do you think it's possible to feed both into the one input and use it with double bass?
You can change the pitch an eq on each individual pad, also add or take away reverb. Its very versatile. EQ High 0-8 EQ Middle 0-8 EQ Low 0-8 The only thing that lets it down, are the pedal as he mentioned in the vid. I mounted mine on some shaped wooden wedges, much better an stable.
Hey! How does this hold up with extremely light ghost notes? Do they need to be played harder than usual, or can they be played at the correct velocity? Thanks!
An fyi for anyone who doesn’t read the literature that comes with this drum kit … the foot petals piggy back ! Which is why there is only 1 petal port….

Seriously considering buying this now 🤔🤔🥁🥁🪘
yes, it has USB MIDI out
How much?
Great video, thank you very much. 👍🏻
Glad you liked it!
Does the sound come through the headphones and speakers? Or can you isolate the sound to only come out the headphones? Looking for the ability to practice quietly without disturbing others in the house… thanks
when you plug in the headphones, it turns off the speakers
Big question, does it have Orchestral percussion?
I just bought my second of these. The first lasted 4 years. I ordered an upgraded version that wasn't nearly as capable as this model so I returned it.
Thanks for the video! Can you play dynamics (piano, forte) on this kit?
Getting very quiet would be tough. It does have some dynamic range, but it's not like a real set. Of course it's electronic, so you could also just turn the volume down, haha.
@@demonicsweaters I find it sad that it only has 1 pedal port. My parents got me one for christmas and i can't find a place for the hi hat pedal :(
@@tori_ortiz Both pedals share one port. The hi hat pedal plugs into the bass drum pedal.
Interesting…. Been needing some sort of electronic drum kit for personal home studio use etc. I had discounted using anything like this. But after watching your video I’m re-evaluating that previous conclusion….
Think I would still prefer a basic proper E-Drum kit, but this is looking like a distinct option.
it's not bad, the only drawback are the pedals
that song sounds like ....
As far as negative comments, it's RUclips, everyone hates everything. haha.
You will never find anything that someone doesn't hate
So they adopted it from medeli dd 309 (which the model that I have) It's actually good after yamaha dd75
i just got the pted01 in amazon bc i wanted a midi controler for logic x pro and it doesnt work, it is not recognized and cant be used. Neither with garage band. Anyone else has had this problem? how did you solve it?
I got the same problem
@@LuisHerX it solved by itself. 😅 in the end I was able to use it as a midi controller using ez drummer and the logic and garage band drummers. So keep trying until it works. 🗣
I now have changed my kit to a roland tv07. But I am ever so grateful for this inexpensive and fun drumming tool. My only complaint would be the pedals which are pretty rudimentary.
@@dinoarellano So, you just connected the drum and the software recognized it? Did the mac recognized it? Any tip you want to give me? Pls i'm desperate hahaha
Hello, I just purchased this and I'm new to drumming. Can you please tell me what kind of stand you use for this?
Just about any snare stand should work amzn.to/3R1OPFc
You mentioned you are getting pedals for this unit coz you are not using the stock ones. May i know which kind of pedal are you goint to replace it with?
Right out of the box, this unit is definitely nicer than the Konix. I realize the other review is on a microphone, but this one is obviously more responsive, looks nicer and the samples are better quality. It's not a massive difference, but I would say worth the small price difference.
I think the pads and build quality are better for sure. But the Konix has a lot of great Bluetooth features that this one lacks.
I got a $20 one and once is connected to my B&O speaker sounds pretty good!
nice!
Hi, thanks for the video. What options are there for the stand? Thanks
it'll fit on a snare stand, or you could use some kind of collapsible tray.
@@demonicsweaters Cool, I went ahead and bought an Alesis Compact - very similar I am sure as the linked video suggests all similar manufacturer. I have a question please with these small pedals that come with it do you place it under the ball of your foot and depress from heel down or stomp on the whole switch with a full leg movement (this is working for me but my legs are aching lol :)
@@MrRichTBiscuit the tiny pedals suck whichever way you use them. I say however you can make them work, then do it.
What is all that background noise on your introduction section?
My pet lobster
So what stand did you use for the Pyle PTED06 7 Pad Tabletop Electronic Drum Kit?
it's a snare stand amzn.to/3Hpj1H0
Cool does it do rimshot an side stick?
no, there's no rims.
@@demonicsweaters I thought not. I bought this kit on the strength of your video. I got it off Market Place for $65.
I Love this thing! It's easy to get lost in it for at least two hours
Did you ever figure out the Midi thing?
Thanks for the motivation
Great Drumming By the way
Keep up the good work 💯
You sound just like
Neil Peart😎🤘🔥
Hello gm wat Drum petals u used?
I need some help, but i cant speak english...
Wich its better? Yamaha dd75 or this pyle?
The Yamaha, though this is good for the money
Here's an idea. If you were to get a y splitter for the bass pedals. Do you think it's possible to feed both into the one input and use it with double bass?
possibly
I did on my Yamaha dd65. Shouldnt be a problem.
Couple questions: can the pads be customized for tone, and/or sensitivity, and/or pad assignment? What is the stand you are using? Thanks.
You can change the pitch an eq on each individual pad, also add or take away reverb. Its very versatile.
EQ High 0-8
EQ Middle 0-8
EQ Low 0-8
The only thing that lets it down, are the pedal as he mentioned in the vid. I mounted mine on some shaped wooden wedges, much better an stable.
@@passiton3801 is it possible to change the hi hat from the middle?
Why does it sound good tho
riley bracco it just does!
I have a Yamaha dd65 that is very fun.
Hey! How does this hold up with extremely light ghost notes? Do they need to be played harder than usual, or can they be played at the correct velocity? Thanks!
I wouldn't rely on this device for finesse playing
@@demonicsweaters Ah, gotcha! Thanks!
Thanks for your information sounds good maybe a good investment
An fyi for anyone who doesn’t read the literature that comes with this drum kit … the foot petals piggy back ! Which is why there is only 1 petal port….
Before buying of these I want to make sure I could use the midi out to trigger the drum sounds in EZ Drummer 2. Can you confirm if I'd be able to do this?
not only can I confirm it, I can show you a video of me doing it ruclips.net/video/0wnj80IVDlc/видео.html :)
@@demonicsweaters Thank you!! going to watch this video right now.
How do u learn songs? Im very new to drums and want to learn for fun. I thought about getting an
Alesis Nitro Mesh Special-Edition 8-Piece Electronic Drum Set. With no prior experience , but want to take classes what would u suggest?
I actually teach remotely if you're interested. I have a lot of lessons here on my channel ruclips.net/video/RzlqetD2opQ/видео.html That should get you started. If you're interested in remote lessons, message me on IG demonic_sweaters
how much this drum
is pyle better than yamaha dd75
No
Where did you get the stand for the set?
it's just a snare stand amzn.to/3WuWYUS
I cant find the usb midi driver anywhere does anyone have a link please
It shouldn't need a driver, just plug and play
@@demonicsweaters that's what I came to find out....but the problem remains after about 4 seconds of controlling a vst drum it falls off...and I have to restart the Pyle then the problem repeats...so in short I'm gonna try the Yamaha version it has physical midi in and outs....thank you for the reply
