Good video, I am on my 3rd control board now, when I bought the Fridge new 6 years ago the board went out 1 month after warranty I was able to find a rebuilt one on Amazon for $89.00 now I see that they are now around $200! Did not see any rebuilt ones available, very poor design with a short life, both failures were due to the LED'd burning out right now it is totally unreadable. I have to put a thermometer in the fridge and freezer to check temperatures, I am able to set the temperatures to default which I am assuming is 0'F for the freezer and 40'F for the fridge as I am not able to read anything. After watching your video, I now see why I am having ice cubes stick together, I assume the gasket cannot be bought without buying the whole assembly? Also my water filter is now stuck in the filter head which I have already ordered the part for, I really like the fridge but the parts just eat you up, fortunately I am able to do a lot of the work myself. Thanks for your video.
Thank you for your reply! I'm happy to help. However, I would recommend choosing OEM parts over rebuilt or third-party options. While you may save money with the latter, there's a risk that the part may not work correctly.
Thanks for this video. Would this part replacement be my best option if my fridge has no push back when I get water or ice? I have to manually pull the lever back every time I use it or it will keep dispensing. Same if I close my freezer door to hard.
Thhis video was very helpful. Unfotunately after putting it back together the display panel has nothing, the water and ice do not dispense. the light in my fridge and freezer are working but I do not know if it is keeping it cool enough. the firsdt time i put it back together I think I was confused on soem of the wiring, but i fixed that problem and now it wont work. I replaced the dispenser, do I need a new panel now too?
I’m wondering if this could be my problem. My whole fridge went out light and everything. except my condenser fan in the bottom back. I had a guy come out and service it. There was the main computer board that had a burn mark where something went out. So we replaced that, but still didn’t fix the problem. The front control board does light up now but no response from it when touching the different buttons. I’m thinking I should order a new one and see if that fixes it. I’d hate to have to buy a new fridge, this ones barely 3 years old.
In some models, you may need to replace both parts at the same time. While it doesn’t happen often, I’ve encountered this issue before. Usually, when replacing the main control, that's all that’s needed, but in some cases, I’ve seen that you also have to replace the front with an updated display (MPC). I recommend contacting Frigidaire to confirm before making any purchases. Hope this helps!
Do you have a link for the display panel too? I need both.

Yes, it sounds like you may need to replace the dispenser housing.
