Heyyy Kent...any chance that you could share the notes for Margaritaville (your version)?? I've watched and tried to mimic but this 60 year old lady is having trouble keeping up!! I do appreciate that you took the time to post about the Jumbie Jam since my purchase was only a few days ago!
Hi again, there is a jumbie at our local music store. I played a quick tune and found out that the f sharp and high g are almost dead spots, but play a little if you really whack it. Are all jumbie drums like that?
@sonordrum I did :) It took me 3 years to save up for it ( not that they're expensive...money just doesn't come to me that much) so unless someone just hands me a boat load of cash this is gonna be it for awhile haha
He was going between the melody and harmony, which is what may have confused you. It’s common practice with solo pan. In groups, the double pan would typically cover those harmony parts he was adding in.
You guys keep calling it a childrens instrument but I use it in gigs! Contemporary Jazz in lounges, Dinner Clubs.....LOVE IT.
ahhhh... your like the guy that can make a cigar box ukulele sound good! it's all in the talent!
My mom is from Trinidad and I used to play the doubled tenors. IMO the finest pans on earth are absolutely guppy's.
thanks for taking the time to make the video good video
Thankyouuu ohhh I want this soooo muuuccchhhh!!!!!! :D

Mine works great.
What is the best steel drum to do everything? Major/Minor and in what key!
Buy a full size chromatic. Meaning a C lead. Anything less than $1800 is a toy
