Cool Bro, thanks for this comparison. I wondered how the quality for the ZGCINE unit. I see the Rode sounds better by far. The ZGCINE compared to the Rode sounds kind of like it is in a can and does not have as much bass as the Rode. I wonder if you can add the bass back in during post editing? I agree with you the long distance is really something that is kind of irrelevant. I think the 10 to 20 feet would be more realistic.
