UnTuckit is becoming very very popular with the concealed carry groups of people. For obvious reasons it conceals well and less shirt to get out of the way when training.
Lawn fabric was originally made of linen, but since the beginning of the 20th century is now most often cotton. It is woven (NOT knit!) with very fine, long staple cotton threads and usually the fabric is very smooth and somewhat sheer - not as sheer as voile, and somewhat crisper than voile. Liberty of London is probably the most famous maker of expensive, high end cotton lawn - they started making their Tana Lawn in the 1920s. Sometimes you see a maker including the name Liberty of London on its garment tags. It's a great tabric for colorful prints.
A big portion of them are Nike Dri fit shorts both men’s and women’s. Where I live I can commonly get shorts for $3 or less. I sell them in lots (maybe 4 or 5 pairs on average) based on size for $12-15 ish each. Can easily fit them all in a padded flat rate envelope. Of course there is other stuff I’ve gotten like Lululemon , Patagonia, carhartt but don’t find it as often.
Great video, learning loads from you, helped me take the final leap to start reselling part time. You are my current go to RUclipsr with the content you post.

Thanks for all the education! I watch a lot of reseller what sold’s and I like the way you show your phone photos next to you as you talk. Great format!
Good tip for people with low sales, anticipate what will people want to wear in the next season! Buy it in good brands with high sell through rates. Will likely have no bad sales then.
I always pass on Tommy Bahama because I have heard large sizes and ridiculously bold designs are the only ones that sell, but I never find that combo. I have seen some cute women's pieces, but avoided them as well.
Recently found your channel and Insta. As a female, new to eBay selling, I prefer reselling men’s clothing and appreciate your info on what sells and what doesn’t. I can’t sell Tommy Bahama either…
Just wanted to comment and say thank you for these videos. I have been reselling for about 8 months now so still fairly new but have genuinely gotten so much good information from your videos. I like that they are straight forward and to the point and not too much chit chat in between lol. Also in regards to the Tommy stuff, from what I hear from others the Hawaiian prints or just more graphic prints in general seem to be what sells better! But I have yet to try it myself because I usually only find it at goodwill for $5 and up.
New to the channel! Great content. I love the way you keep it real! Same here with Tommy Bahama. I will definitely be back for more sourcing/selling knowledge. Thank you!
Yes, but it was due to my negligence, not because the stuff sold at the same time. You have to be good about taking stuff down on either platform when it sells on one of them.
So that’s a good idea. I sell mostly on ebay but have never cross listed on Mercari. I just kind of try different items on one platform. So lets say you sell the same item on Mercari so you take down the ebay listing… will ebay catch on,,, do they care or just expect the competition??. I have never done it because I wasn’t sure what their trms of agreement were for cross listings .Nice vid btw
Would you recommend cross listing if you aren’t full time? I teach all day and I’m worried I won’t be able to check. What do you recommend if you are not full time flipping
Matt great video, thank you. A question. When crosslisting between eBay and Poshmark do you have a different pricing strategy between the two sites for the same crosslisted item? Thanks in advance for you help
Do you ever try to sell like business branded shirts? Meaning like car dealerships, casinos, resorts, restuarants, etc? Usually they have an embroidered logo on the front of the shirt somewhere. - I come across these all the time at yard sales and my thinking is that they wouldn't really sell well. But hey, maybe I'm wrong?
I'm on board the Bahamarama! I remember watching your vid calling it overrated because I then sold two shirts and a pair of pants that same week (which was a lot to me as a newer reseller). Of course, haven't sold any in the weeks since so probably beginner's luck. Still in my maybe list, if it looks interesting enough.
Thanks for this video !! Very cool !! Question... when you do quick flipping like that... do you do best offers too ?? If you so, you list a little bit higher ?
Love your videos and have recently found a Roark & Ryan Michael’s shirt which are a brand I wouldn’t have been aware of if wasn’t for your videos and manifesto. Prana’s been selling well for me and Birddog is a BOLO brand...not sure if I’ve heard you mention that one!
Hypothesis: maybe eBay sends Tommy Bahama buyers to sellers that sell a lot of tommy Bahama. "Recommended sellers in tommy bahama"? I know they do that for other categories such as sports jerseys
Love your videos! You are seriously the younger skinnier hipster version of my husband! 🥰 how do you cross list? Do you use any of the subscriptions out there? Thank you
You don't really need to add people. Just sharing your closet is enough if you have good stuff. I have a routine of sharing my closet during breakfast, lunch, and right after dinner. At first, I thought it was cumbersome, but I sell way more on Poshmark than I do on Ebay, and listing with them is much faster.
My Tommy Bahama sells like fire hahahha that's pretty funny. What I have found, however, is to only pick up the shorts / pants / and linen long sleeves / and ugly loud AF button ups. I don't buy Tommy Bahama polo shirts or plain Jane solid color button ups (some stripes will do well but they have to be weird colors) anymore they sit forever and finally sell for 10-14 unless they have loud ugly patterns. The TB jeans are fire for me.
@@ThriftALife I think you are at a disadvantage with your California prices. I have a few honey holes here where I can get TB stuff for 2.50-4 bucks. Of course the Goodwills here (all of them apparently communicate) price all TB shirts at first at 17.99. Since I got the jab and got out shopping again I have not seen a single TB item at a Goodwill for under 15 bucks, save the one that had bloody shit stains all over it. But as a consolation prize to having to pay California prices you get to find some great brands that I have never seen in the wild here. I can't find summer comfort anymore I used to find it every trip. The only reason I continue to thrift at GW is that they have not figured out every good brand yet, but they have got TB, Peter Millar, (any jeans that are not rustler are always 17.99), and some funny ones they think are valuable for some weird reason that makes me laugh. I saw an express polo for 19.99 and almost pissed myself with cynical joy. Thank the gods that I have a handful of excellent privately owned charity thrift stores that actually want to move their inventory, if I had to rely on Goodwill I would be reselling wicker fucking baskets for 4 dollars shipped.
Love this video! You show a lot of brands im not really aware of and it goes at my speed too! You know you rock Matt! My tommy bahama is still sat too! that UA shirt was cool!
Whaaa, those Lululemon shorts sold for $15 with a huge hole in the crotch? That's nuts. Makes me regret passing on the bad fabric wear crotch lululemon.
So, what happens when you live in an area where all you can find is Tommy? I guess you just stop reselling? I buy every single one and sell them all the time. I have had PrAna shorts sit for weeks without selling at a price lower than $34.
Speaking of books i scored a major lot of books from marketplace her brother left them from the 60s..huge box i paid $20 ive sold 70 Doc Savage books for $225 and 20 horror pulp books for $100 theres still 30 books im waiting on.....im spoiled now lol
I always pick up Manga books as well. If they are cheap. I sell them really well and if you can get a set or several volumes in a row. Sell as bundle. It’s killer.

I agree with you on the Tommy Bahama. It sits for way too long.

You have taught me so much about mens clothing and your dry sense of humor keeps me coming back for more 😂Keep up the great content!👍
