We have had 4 shitzu’s over the past 32 years. We have very much so been loved by them and we are truly in love with the breed. Our family listened to-your comments and cannot believe you truly Know this breed. Shitzus are the champions of Zoomies, love socializing,very intelligent, easy to train which they enjoy. They are agile and climb and jump readily. They are very loyal and loving to their families. Our dogs love the water and enjoy swimming. A day on the beach is great fun for them. Just ensure you have shade and plenty of water for them in hot days. They do feel the cold in winter months, so be prepared to share your bed with these heat seeking fur balls. They love a comfy bed of their own as long as they have a warm blanket and a snuggly jumper. Shitzus love their families, including grandparents, children, neighbor’s. Our shitzus also loved the 0:30 postman always ready to greet him warmly and give an excess of kisses. All dogs have their own personalities, shitzus have huge personalities and big hearts. I think you need to do your research again before you further maline these loving loyal intelligent companion dogs. 💕💕💕❤️❤️❤️❤️
My Shih Tzus have been pleasant. I have bred them for 25+ years. Many of the opinions expressed in this video contradict my experience, some expressed in the video even contradict the video, too. As with any dog, consistency and persistence matter. They are excellent companion animals, especially for the elderly and people with mobility challenges. At the moment, five hairy gremlins share my home with me. Our problems largely center around the squirrels and rabbits who refuse to honor our territorial integrity. There is an owl which runs its mouth, sharing its opinions day and night, but the pack reminds them all to keep out. My girls and boys know no strangers and are eager to share licks and kisses with anyone. I suspect that any burglary would be foiled by dog toys and the incessant licking they will receive.
I love my dog. She’s very nice but she’s not very comfortable with the other big dogs she will bark at them. I trained her to listen and sit and she well chase the birds like a crazy meatballs
Wrong. I have had shih tzu’s whole life. They are great. Any dog could be aggressive if they are not trained well. They also don’t bark a lot, only when someone comes to the door, not sure what the heck you’re talking about.
