Killer Whales Are Chasing A High Speed Boat

- A pod of killer whales are chasing this boat full with tourists. The boat was going fast but the orcas can also swim very fast. Yes, killer whales are also known as orcas, the full scientific name being Orcinus orca. This animals are very intelligent and though looks like some huge black fishes, they are not. They are not even related to any fish. These animals are mammals just like us. They are not even whales, but are oversized dolphins.

Orca swim 35 mph which looks to be around the speed the boats going and they were chasing not playing orca kill for sport and the reason they chased was because the vibration of the prop it's the same thing as q top water chopper and bass
Once they get ahead of the wake, theirs little resistance, and they can swim MUCH faster than 35mph, National Geographics has video of them traveling at like 85 knots and the orcas keeping up ahead of the wake in that little pocket. It's also where you will see wakeboarf surfers ride without a rope behind a boat because theirs forward pressure propelling them forward.

Boaters LAWS are that you cannot approach ANY WHALE within 100 ft, but they are allowed to approach you. YOu are SUPPOSED TO SLOW DOWN to protect them from harm or a prop strike.
That’s crazy. Looks like they were just playing. They wanted to play tag. That one nearly jumped in the boat. Enjoyed the video. Should’ve watched it without sound though.

You have the responsibility to slow down your vessel, simply to protect this awe inspiring mammals. It nearly got out of hand, but did not say, I did not enjoy the video, but you denied your passengers an upclose encounter with Orca.
They could have easily jumped in your vessel though as they placed themselves in the vortex of your motor, so in away, you gave them a ride also.
Were they playing and chasing for that purpose or they were hungry? :))
Boaters were never heard from again, cam washed up on a beach, bodies were a nice orca snack, win win situation.
Was trying to knock them over. Recently they trashed a boat. These people talking how cool. Lucky to get out with their lives
