This is one of the reasons I always set up new iPhones as new and not restore from backup. Gives me an opportunity to only reload apps that I actually use. I also keep rarely-used apps in the App Library and only apps that I want on my home screens stay there.

I tend to use services via a web browser like Brave. I try to avoid apps. I really dislike being tracked on line & value privacy. Most apps are just covers for data mining user data. There has to be a balance between convenience & security. So the less apps one uses the better in my humble estimation.
