Some of us out here still appreciate your build guides, Drac... I've been watching your vids since before you started showing your face, if that tells you anything. I'm more of a springer guy, mostly because I hate the noise that flywheel blasters make when they're spooling up before you shoot, but it's still cool to see what they can do and how they're built. Not my style, but I appreciate a well executed build of any effective foam flinging device. Keep doing what you love, brother
I love the Spectrum. I would like to run one as a holstered sidearm with an all HalfDart loadout.
Keep making these types of videos. I prefer these types of tutorials instead of a typical review.

I have an interesting question: have you considered making a part for the angled bottom rail to make it horizontal for those of us who like grips that are NOT the included one?

This came at literally the perfect time. I finally got around to getting a spectrum and was looking online about it shooting half lengths and wasn't finding much than bam your video came out!

Please do consider making a better stock adapter available for acquisition so the Spectrum can accept N-Strike stocks, and perhaps a barrel lug too that can friction fit like the current available muzzle break. Thanks again Drac for an educational tutorial and installation build on a current blaster...I guess "BlasterTag On" is too much of a mouthful for the outro and because it doesn't follow a syllable count rhythm of the other phrases that precede and follow it. It's still better than it predecessor. ;) Stay safe and blessed. Yosh...

Such a beautiful creation brings a tear to my eye.
Try using a editor to remove a section of the Nerf stock adapter. If you have just the part that slides over the spectrum stock and remove the back plate and remove or edit the locking tabs you get a good friction fit that is almost perfectly flush with the back of the spectrum

This is honestly gonna be a contender for my short dart flywheeler. A little lower than others on the list, but a solid option and definitely at a good price point
For about 70$ this is a pretty serious option, great guide drac!

Awesome video, I'm definitely going to get the short dart kit. I've tried some other stock adapters and haven't been really happy with them, too much movement not sturdy. So that's why I hope you make your version of a stock adapter for the Spectrum. Keep up the good work, you've been killing it 👏

I think the color change might be due to performance. All the green and blue blasters are more kid friendly, but the red ones are more adult oriented or harder hitting?
I mean the villanater is still green
The red on the Spectrum looks awesome under a blacklight.
I swooped a red recently and swapped my greens rewired guts and your kit to the red instead, kinda like the green wheels inside the red blaster too lol

With that stock and the muzzle busted out of the Spectrum, I feel like this platform would be a better host for an MP5 cosmetics kit than the Stryfe.
Drac, perhaps you could experiment with it? And maybe if anyone makes a select-fire mod for the Spectrum, you could have a gander at it too?

Just incase you ever want to go back to this build, there is a 3d printed buffer tube to spectrum stock attachment on thingiverse. I haven’t built one yet, but it might look better than buffer to N strike to spectrum.

out of curiosity, is there a pusher that would work with half darts in angled talon w/ angled talon adapter? not sure if the stock one would, but really like the idea of the spectrum with an angled magazine
