I was FINALLY able to get my hands on a Nexus Pro a little over a week ago, and haven't put it down since. I didn't think it could get any better, but then they release this beautiful mini-gem. And 2-Way_Intersection is right: We DO need secondaries, and this would be perfect for that!

Honestly the question for me is "Is the nexus twice as good as the aeon?" And for me the answer is yes. Native pump action and stock with plenty of mod potential means that it is twice as good. However, I love that this exists since it will draw even more people into out wonderful hobby.
I like the max Stryker more and maybe a nexus pro too, but what I love about the Aeon pro is it’s price and how they don’t have as much quality control issues. I have much better blasters but since they are all under mods I’m using an Aeon Pro for my gameplay

The way I see it, this blaster’s top prime may be too stiff for many younger enthusiasts (or injured adult enthusiasts) to cope, so someone will devise a T-pull handle. From that point, it shouldn’t be too difficult for two Aeons thus equipped to hook into each other for simultaneous prime.
Picked up 2 of these blasters and a pack of half darts a couple of days ago. OMG Amazing. One more thing I discovered with this blaster was that if you half prime and then full prime, you can shoot 2 darts at once.
Now all DZ has to make is a 100 fps jolt 😂😂 but actually, how are they making any money!? Also, what is the prime weight compared to a stock Kronos spring?
I will absolutely be picking one of these up when it's available. Here's hoping short darts continue to do well at retail, and we can start getting smaller short dart ONLY blasters!

I'm curious how AF Waffles work, given the length of the barrel. I have a ton of mags from an old Lightake sale, and sometimes just like to use full length darts.
Less not anybody forget AF, DZ, AW an even ZX (XZ) put out these “midsize” blasters. Mag/clip fed, no attachments, single hand wielding (or both), most don’t even have a tactical rail. Nerf always puts out a rifle you can minimize. Just saying all these o.t.N. Companies have been putting these out there, an they are all pretty good (stock). One I like, -laugh if you like- is the open feed clip Havoc. Hidden gem right there. Open feed = load darts in the holes, an when you prime it pulls the magazine straight through the blaster. n.s.
And with proprietary ammo and no cross-platform compatibility because they think it'll force people to buy their stuff when it'll really just drive them to buy from the competition.

About the holster thing: IIRC there was a custom kit for the Kronos that used magnets to somewhat holster it to a small metal plate affixed to a holster strap. If one can be made to affix to the rail and wrap around the barrel perhaps...

I'm going to buy one. I have hesitated getting a Nexus because I don't need another full-size primary, even one as amazing and awesome as the Nexus. I also am not in the short-dart ecosystem yet because my primary of choice is a flywheeler. I have no hesitation getting an Aeon. Top-tier performance, small package, I'm sold!
Looks very capable of a pump-action conversion. Not as long as the Nexus, but a more compact pump-action Pro springer would be amazing. Especially with a drum!

I'd like to suggest foam battling. This avoids people thinking Rival doesn't count because balls and includes melee swords if they're allowed.

Pretty sure nerf works at arround 500% margin or even more, they are selling thier blasters at 200% margin.
If you make affordable quality people will buy it more. That's how they make money.
