- Knowing how to work with tools and oxen involves knowing how they think as much as how the tool works. Rob Collins shows us both in this video featuring his team of oxen.

Thank you Rob. Well done
Your oxen have beautiful horns. Also like your traditional oxyoke.
Appreciated
Very informative!
Bullock drivers in Australia have a 5 yoke 10 head hitch and when he calls each by name they come stand in line at exactly the right place....is awesome just to watch him yoke up..he logs with them and takes all 10 to get job done...
Most draft horsemen use a strap or chain around the stop on the tongue for added safety.

Do your oxen ever play, try to bunt you?
what breed are they
cow
SHORTHORN
Mooooo
There are many breeds and varieties between. I could be wrong, but I was taught the red cows were santa gertrudis and if they had white faces, they were hereford. The black and white cows are holstein (chickfila mascot); brown are jersey; white can be charolais but there are many breeds, and cross breeding produces mixed results with mixed color patterns. There appears to be a lot of santa gertrudis in these bulls, but I don't know for sure.
Do you wash these animals? Thay dirty
