I like how they slipped parts of the iconic zelda theme

It's not about hearing, it's about basic melodic recognition. Literally the reward you get for doing all his stuff is that it adds that bit of the Zelda theme to what he plays. =3= There's nothing sneaky or hard to pick up on, here.

I hear Song of Storms a little more than Dark World in that last part.
My dad was a professional accordionist, and he loved The Legend of Zelda, he watched me play all of them since the very first one. He passed away last year, and he never got to watch me playing Breath Of The Wild. Not gonna lie, when this came on, it made me feel a little emotional, I know he would have loved this.
Wish i could say something without sounding like insulting or something, but seriously, this is very touching.

@@wet0wl the full song has lyrics, which Kass will sing to you once you complete the 9-ish quests related to him. Them you'll find him here in Rito Village and he will give you the full song. I won't spoil the lyrics in case you haven't heard them already, but they were written about Link, which makes this his song imo.

He said that he left his wife and children to find the chosen hero and help him on his shrine quests with the songs he learned from his Sheikah Master, when you meet him in front of the Stables near Orni Village.
After you did all of his quests and the secret quest in Orni Village, he will return to them and play you this song if you see him at night.

my heart jumped everytime i found this tune playing somewhere. it was hilarious to encounter him with his accordeon in the most dangerous of places, just paying attention to his music. the shrine puzzle connected to his songs where the best in the game and this final scene was just amazing.
finally finding his base on the stone mushroom was the ultimate discovery for me.
It would've made more sense if he left that diary with his wife so when you go to Rito Village she can give you clues to where her husband is travelling.
Hearing this makes me cry, after 200+ hours in totk, I miss him

his back must hurt from carrying the entire game on it.
I love how all his kids have unique colors since he is a parrot and parrots can be very colorful.
I decided to save one of Kass' shrine quests as one of the last few I would do and I went to Kass after completing the final one in the temple and when he started telling the story (in the song) I got freaking blown away so far I think my soul leaped out of my body. In my opinion this will become the classic theme from this song rather than the main theme. I'm happy about that because Kass is such a good character.
Keep in mind this bird man has a wife and children. Don’t steal him from his loved ones

his speech to link when you talk to him after the quest was beautiful, and then he played this... what a song! asked him to play it quite a few times! beautiful song.
My favorite moment in this game is this song, when you finish all the quests and he's playing it to you, I remember thinking the song was going to loop like normal, so when the extended version started playing it caught me off gaurd, and then the main theme snuck in there and had me thinking about all the incredible and exciting experiences I had in this game, almost brought me to tears
I always loved kass' song. When i first finished botw, i didn't finish his shrine quests. A few weeks later i went back to the game to finish a few more things including his quests. And I'm glad i did. I was so surprised when I discovered the song i loved has always been about me.

He is, by far the most charismatic. The children Rito are not that far behind, they are extra cute if compared to other children in the game

The lyrics match the tempo of the music pretty well (yup I even tried to sing it myself don't act like you didn't as well). I really hope someone would make a voice-acted version with Kass singing to the music. I believe in you musical Zelda fans out there!

I was playing Breath of the Wild and while I was cruising through the Faron Grasslands I heard the original Zelda theme playing in the background and I started crying straight up. Can't wait to finish this quest so I can hear the full theme.
This songs really gets at my nostalgia. It feels so familiar and comforting outside of the Zelda theme

Part of me wishes Nintendo would have had the animations of Kass’s fingers sync with the song playing, because where it stands, they’re just random movements on the accordion keys.

Micah Brewster its not possible to get that many hearts in the game. I just did all 120 shrines and i got only 27. Does anyone know how you get 30???
You can have 30 hearts but you won't be full stamina.
FuegoYT you just have to trade with the "dark" statue your endurance for hearts, then dou can have (maximum) 30hearts

Complete all his quests, then you'll find him back at Rito village with his wife. He plays the Rito theme during the day with his 5 daughters. Also a little back-story when you talk to him.

That hardly makes sense considering everyone else has been all uploading the OST to RUclips, and it hasn't been taken down.

Why would it make any difference if it had gameplay? There's thousands of RUclipsrs doing Lets Plays, both popular and unpopular, with or without commentary. Even before the game was released and was only given to a select number of people, at that. I think you're misinterpreting "taking down a video" as "taking a percentage of profit from videos that feature their content". Right now, RUclips's system has already detected what game this is from. If Nintendo cared that much, there wouldn't be any videos in existence. Nintendo at least knows some semblance of what's going on on RUclips, considering that Reggie has interacted with a few popular RUclipsrs himself, and has been featured in certain videos. ProJared, or Game Theorists for example.
I know Nintendo has actually taken down a few videos, like a few videos featuring Mario romhacks during the release of Super Mario Maker, but with Breath of the Wild, this is a difference case.

(For the theme you hear before you clear all his quests) Start off with your left hand: E7 - E7 - Am - A7 - Dm7 - G7 - Cmaj7 - Cmaj7 - Bb - Bb - Am - Am/G - F - E7 - Am - Am. Figure the rest out from there. Mostly white keys! The version in this video changes the F to an F7, and adds the whole second part, but start off with these changes, and make your own version!

Neo Prototype Bandoneón has LM tuning. This song has MM tuning, it is an accordion.
also, bandoneons and concertinas has the buttons on the sides, and Kass's instrument has the buttons on the front... like a compact bayan accordion (search the Weltmeister Romance)

Came here after finishing Tears of the Kingdom, was so sad that Kass wasen't in it.
Sneaking in the main Zelda theme like that gave me goosebumps, also notice something fun, the last chords he plays are hints at Song of Storms.

I've only ever heard the first part of Kass's song (the bit he plays when he's in a location waiting for you to talk). Never knew it mutated into the Zelda theme with hints of the OoT Windmill song too!
You have to solve all his puzzles out in the field. Then he stays in Rito Village, accompanying his daughters playing the village theme (an arrangement of Dragon Roost Isle from WW).
Talk to him at night and he'll play this whole song.
