Hey guys! I wanted to provide a summary of settings and results I received, as the video didn’t go too granular - and for anyone who loves seeing more data :)
UK targeting:
- Cost per sub: £0.39
US + UK targeting:
- Cost per sub: £0.19
Worldwide targeting (English-speaking)
- Cost per sub: £0.04
The horizontal video actually gained 25% more conversions than the short, but to compare data for both:
Short video (1080 x 1920):
- CPV: £0.006
- Cost per sub: £0.03
Horizontal video (1920 x 1080):
- CPV: £0.006
- Cost per sub: £0.04
Don't forget, different niches will also yield different results. I didn't mind where people come from if they need my help. Test for yourself and let me know the results you get, I'd love to hear how you get on :)

@@tha_westguy if you ever want to view geographic locations in the new Google Ad Manager, you can see this in Insights & Reports > where and when ads are shown > Matched Locations

Interesting since both cost are almost the same. Hmm and I saw on your video that you did first world countries like US. I thought it was gonna be more expensive than that
@@tha_westguy - That's a great point and I completely missed this, I'm so sorry! So I changed things up as I didn't mind where people come from if they needed my help. The above results are based on WORLDWIDE (English All) targeting. I was getting about £0.39 per sub (UK only) and £0.19 (US + UK). Test for yourself and see what results you get = different niches will also yield different results (Y)

Thanks so much for the love @bossup7667! That’s a great question too. The earned views are obviously no where near as high as when there’s ad spend behind the videos, but I can confirm that organic reach has increased from where I was (if I put no spend behind it)
There’s also a great feature where we can retarget our videos to our followers using RUclips Ads which ensures your audience consistently sees you (even if it is through ad placements), I’m just experimenting more with this now :)
