      Look, I don’t recommend but I wasn’t going to buy another saw for like four cuts. XD

    Cool project. But you need to get a saw to cut the 2x4 but hell it worked!!

      I knooooowwww. I just didn't want to buy a real saw for this one project before moving into the Jeep. None of the cuts came out perfectly flat. XD

    Great idea using those joist hangars for the 2x4s. Thanks for sharing. That was very helpful as I plan on putting a sleeping platform in the back of my JKU and hitting the road next summer.

      Allan Laal Remarkably none! It doesn’t extend that far forward, if I lean a bit to the right it makes contact above the elbow just on the part where the shelf curves.
