Dangerous Carnival Ride! TAGADA - Is This The Most Scary Amusement Park Ride?

- This ride was at the Fiestas de Zapote 2016 in Costa Rica. It is called TAGADA! There are no safety restraints for riders and they have to hold on to the rails in hopes of not falling out of the seat. The ride operator has control over the intensity of the ride. Wow, this ride is insane!

This was at my local fair I went on it I thought I was gonna shit my pants 😂
It looks scary huh?
looool
Same but I just found it fun
I’ve been on it and my legs were flying everywhere I was scared out of my mind to be honest, and it was just four people on the ride so it was lighter and faster, it was me, my two brothers and my cuz, TBH I WAS SHITING BRICKS
Where is thz ride at sixflags or Texas state fair?
@@esther1hunnit467 this ride is banned
In the U.S.A but they have it in England or something
@@marcusmorales6129 Wtf why is it banned
@@M1ssKiera why not?
This ride is not that scary though, I've been on it. Rollercoasters that go upside down multiple times are scarier.
Its name: Tagada, Zapote - Costa Rica
I was in Venezuela (Porlamar) and this ride was at a fairground there in around 2000... 20 years later and my back STILL hurts from the injuries from this ride. I was carried off it and back to the hotel and couldn’t walk for 2 days. The guys just shut the ride down and buggered off as soon as I’d been lifted off the ride! DO NOT go on one of these 🙈 if they still exist
Ouch! Yeah, I would never ride this attraction since I already have a bad back. Scary stuff...
I fell of a tagada too but I don’t fell any pain and I still ride tagadas too this day
Well it looked safe when Wiley E. Coyote built it. The road runner was fine. You know what's missing. A sprinkler in the middle the sprays everyone and everything with baby oil and axle grease. Now that would be the shit. 😅
😂😂now that would be worth-while
Rode this many times when I was a teen at a fair on base in Panama in the mid 90s. It’s was crazy dangerous…..probably the most fun I’ve ever had on a “fair” ride. Still talk about to this day
very cool! I can imagine it being very fun as a young person for sure!
That shit looks so fun
IT IS.
it is but it bruises the fuck out of you!
I am FLIPPING wishing I am on that thing!!! I WANNA GO NOWWWW... where is it located???
Of course it is dangerous, it isn't spinning fast enough to force the people into the seat, so they are just flying everywhere.
It is a crazy ride for sure
You should of seen the one I went on long story short we where aloud to stand and walk on it and they where a half naked lady dancing in the middle of it
No ur good it's not enough force to fling u out of the ride, I went on one at a local fair I was fine some people fall on the floor if they're light though, I did 😂
I saw this ride in this place where they showed off water sprinkling to the air with colors and they had this ride but I didn’t know where to get the tickets to go on it. This happened two years ago in Peru.
Crazy ride for sure!
i remember going on this and genuinely thinking i was gonna get hurt lllooollll, fucking scarey shit, you feel so unsafe on it
Ahh I remember the old time it really painful siting with the think start to jump
Totally crazy ride for sure!
Just make sure to have an empty stomach before you go on this ride
Absolutely!
I was on one of these the other day. Hence why I'm here. I got through the whole ride without holding on. It's actually really fun and hilarious to go on with your friends. It's more funny than scary really. I would recommend going on one which is padded though. I didn't realise these things were as dangerous as they apparently are until I read about it on wikipedia. Apparently they're banned in the USA, which I was surprised about because they are pretty popular here in the UK. Statistically they're still much safer than driving a car.
Glad you have a fun experience riding it! We see it at all the fairs in Costa Rica but you will never find it in the USA.
Ohhhhhh I found it’s already banned in US Hmmm… btw it’s one of the most popular ride in S Korea
Yeahhhhhh it's safe!!! Whatever,, just get on it and have fun and hope the operator can hear you if ya got trouble .. that's it...
Thanks for watching.
I rode this shit in Germany as a kid and it’s a core memory now, have nightmares of that shit
Crazy Ride for sure!
Haha core memory
The ZIPPER was the scariest carnival ride back in the days
That was very scary for sure
We used to ride this in Rome, Italy back in the 70’s.it was awful and yet every time we went to the park we rode it. A very painful ride!
The man who controlled the ride would tilt it up when women sat on it. Some women wore skirts. Their legs would open up and then the operator would jerk the women around!!
Crazy ride for sure! Thanks for watching.
Went on something like this in Mexico with my dad when I was like nine. Oh boy was is something you where aloud to stand on this thing and just walk.. my dad was gripping on to the seat next to the door cause he was paranoid I would fall out the door they where also a woman that looked to be in there late twenty’s? Any ways she had a gap in her shirt showing off half of her uh yea.. I was nine and they where other kids there she was dancing the the middle of the ride some how me and other kids and adults where barely standing almost falling every second I ended up tumbling onto a seat onto some guy we both didn’t say nothing since I was a nervous nine year old i ran to my dad and he cheered me up cause I was so distraught over falling on to somebody? I fell onto random people every few minutes at this point I was dizzy bruised and tired then after like 5 minutes the ride stopped me and my dad haven’t talked about it he lives in Mexico so he seemed used to it.. never trust half naked lady’s dancing on a ride kids.
Wow! You had quite the experience.
That's a of words you might win an essay
Hold my cup
I Remember Going On This Ride With My Sister-In-Law Magdalena at a Carnival In Dunwich. So Much Fun, Such Memories. Except I Think They Called It "The Washing Machine".
It is a crazy ride for sure!
Omg I rode one of these in Chile about 15 years ago! I still remember getting people bounced on me 😂
Crazy ride for sure!
Tagada the best one
Then add flashing lights, and two dancing evil nuns to the middle lmao
Ha! That's funny....
They have a similar ride called the gravitron in america. Gravity keeps you on the seat
Used to love riding that as a child! Especially the one that the floor dropped out while spinning.
The one I go on you stand and the thing your standing against goes up when you start going really fast and you go up with it
@@GioandJCThat would be a Rotor.
I havent been on it but the funfair is coming in 8 days should i go on it? 😭
Totally up to you! It's not for us though.
Fair ride going love you too
Interesting ride for sure!
Is this the 1 the jigsaw and nun ride on
Yes, the same ride. It is found in carnivals and fairs throughout Latin America. The one with the Nun is in Mexico by the "Garcia" Carnival. This was filmed in Costa Rica.
In Britain we imitate almost everything the Americans do. In 1999, the government abolished legal aid for personal injury. This opened the floodgates for ambulance chasers, and a lot of people are now terrified of being sued, by someone who has had an accident that "wasn't their fault." Luckily this has not stopped Tagadas, and there are a number of these with UK traveling fairs. Ours appear to bounce less violently than the Latin American ones, and have elaborate light systems and loud dance music. They also have a platform all round the revolving tub. British people luckily behave less wildly on them, and usually stay seated. For British people who want to be more violently bounced, the "Jump and Smile" has become extremely popular. I believe a few US states allow Tagadas if they've got seat belts.
Thanks for watching and sharing your information.
Introducing you all to the BRB in real life!
Thank you for watching.
Do they have this at all fairs or No
Not in the USA at all but you will find this throughout Latin America and most festivals.
this sort of ride exists in my theme park, although much safer, and its pretty awesome
Cool, thanks for watching.
"Your father & l had such a romantic honeymoon"
What an interesting quote...thanks for watching.
It’s probably most dangerous I’ve seen!
Very Scary!
It's fine I went on it and the most u can do is fall on the floor it isn't enough force to fling u out of the ride lol
Mi país Costa rica es de le empresa Ciudad mágica
Pretty Giant scary mmm
A bum achingly great ride
Exactly! hahahaha
When the people where building this didn't they notice there were no seatbelts?
Itz_ Mighty In this ride, there's supposed to be no seatbelts. It's for laughs and I know, it's crazy but fun
Welcome to Mexico
WHATS THE RIDE CALLED!!!!???I WANNA GO ON IT
It's called TAGADA. Crazy ride for sure and mostly scene at carnivals throughout Latin America.
No you dont! It’s not fun!
@@dianelaag2944 ....ok stranger?

It's a crazy ride for sure
I went on this back in 2003 I hated it
Very scary ride for sure!
When I was 9 my mum took me on this 🤣
Much more fun as a child it appears.
@@GioandJC well yeh...bruises and pain all over for about a week...I'm sure CPS was having a field day. Not to mention I recently found a picture of me on a roller coaster ride when I was about 6months old....ahhh, how the times have changed 🤣
There is no way anyone on this ride is having fun.
Right!
i rode one recently. you do have fun as long as you like being shaken around and spun. as long as you hold on to the bars on the rims you are safe. the ride isnt strong enough to break your grip.
Sorry for the men’s private areas… and if someone’s sick it’ll be everywhere…
True! Thanks for watching.
I was flying on tha😭😭
Crazy ride for sure~
What is that? The washing machine ride? Up, down, up, down, up, down, up, down and spin around
Another thing, where are the seat belts? Being lifted and spun around like that is dangerous. Has anyone fallen off this ride? I'm a crazy rider but I have a line to draw when it comes to something like this.
Crazy right!? No, there are not seat belts on this ride and many people get injured on it. It is banned in the USA because of the litigious nature of people but in Latin America you will see this ride at every carnival/fair and people accept the fact that they might get hurt.
@@GioandJC yep and sometimes thats the fun part. Sady in America almost everything is so "safe" nowadays its just boring. Glad to know Mexico still uses common sense for fun stuff like this. Yeah i agree its not for everyone though.
this ride almost killed me like LITERRALLY TODAY at the first bump it was okay i guess until the third bump my body started to fly out of seat and the solid seat just bump at my bottom at the same time causing me to loose the arm that grab the metal bar at the fourth bump i started flying into other people in the ride kick them in the face until it stop bumping and then it started to spin violently bumping even more faster that i almost broke my hips and my back while my bottom fall and impact the solid seat it cause my back to extremely pain and the other bump fly spinning while i hold the metal bar with my sweaty hand that can slip at anytime and struggle to hold my pain body stick to seat as possible it started to bump faster and harder that cause my pant to fall off reveal my black underpant embarrassing everyone on the ride while i struggle to hold the metal bar for my dear life thought this is how i would die until the ride stop and me walk slowly down the ride with my back pain and when i got home i can still feel the pain i gonna update later at my back pain if is it broken spine or just regular back pain
(UPDATE: I have to go see doctor it still hurt on my back)
( I SWEAR I NEVER GONNA RIDE THAT MTHFKR EVER AGAIN )
Wow! What Country did you ride it in? We hope you recover and feel better soon.
@@GioandJC in Thailand
How is is dangerous
People bouncing around, up and down and nothing to hold on to or secure you in place. That makes this a dangerous ride.
GioandJC they got the bars at the back wich the hold on to derrr
A long ride
And SCARY!
Never lol
Scary huh! Thanks for watching.
@@GioandJC Most definitely, I see all these rides coming into my Virginia backyard aka my hometown!I heard a couple of accidents happen in Richmond, Va my hometown! I will never ever enter them Mankind machines that are man made again anything can happen! The last ride I been on is The Drop Zone at Kings Dominion in 2005 that's 15 years ago!
I’m not going on Tagada Ride 1. It isn’t safe!
OMG😟
Thanks for watching
it doesn’t even look that bad
Looks can be deceiving. Thanks for watching.
Its barable, but the real danger is falling out
ive been on this ride and the person across from me vomitted.

🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
Honey, get the barf bag.
If ny wasn’t such cry baby state I would ride if they allowed this in ny hahahahaha
Yeah, I do not think you will find this ride anywhere in the USA. Too many people would be suing the carnivals!
@@GioandJC yea I agree with it lol
