Our island overhang is 13" and that's enough even for adults. Since you're including board and batten a few extra inches would help prevent knees, etc from hitting the batten... Awesome photos of the North Shore!
It's good to know more Westie owners out there that go to whatever lengths they can to help them live the long happy life they deserve. Like the breed, the owners are unique 😎😎
Great video Ryan! It's a crazy world these days, but your vids always bring a little peacefullness and normalcy. So sorry to hear about little Westie, I wish him a long and happy life.
What great video Ryan!! Always enjoy the progress of Westberrie Acres and the wildlife on your property. Your still pics are amazing! Thanks for sharing!!
Glad to see the interior work is progressing along. I'm sure you can't wait for it to be all done so you can finally move in. Also, loved the cinematic work as always. That frozen fog on the trees at the beginning was absolutely beautiful! We had the same thing here for a couple of days in a row and it makes for one of the best scenes of winter.
Your cinematic skills coupled with your music choices are fantastic Ryan. Really enjoy your videos and obviously your lawn care channel as well. Keep em coming brother.
Amazing view is right, boy I sure wish I had a canning kitchen, I did 45 qts of tomatoes, 20 pints of salsa, and 15 qts of hot peppers in my kitchen, i`m going bigger next year. The place is coming along great, paint and trim will be a huge difference, I hear ya, it`s not cheap, but sometimes painting is best left to the pros, neat and quick, can`t wait to see the flooring, all the best to ya both and the dogs, be well from South East Michigan.
Just watched your First lawn video for '23. No snow! Watching this video. Snow! haha Both videos are getting me through this cold NE Ohio afternoon. :)
Highly recommend to get the Mopeka Pro Check Sensor for propane. It works well here in Canada on my 500gal tank! You could hook this up to Home Assistant or whatever automation you are planning to use.
Another masterpiece Ryan. Maybe it has to do some with our age (guessing we’re pretty similar in age) but man I really have grown to love the simple things and quiet times outdoors. You do such a great job of capturing that true experience. Looks like things are rolling at the property. Hang in there, the fruits of all your labor is getting closer by the day.
Another fine vlog moment Ryan. Just wondering if you’ve ever come across Cole the Cornstar in Marshalltown. He has lawn care needs and Pete from GCI in North Carolina is a bit far away.
FYI: Regarding the kitchen counter overhang/seating area, my sister had board and batten under hers and we whacked our knees on the batten all the time and it was NOT fun, even drew blood once. 😳 I’d opt for more overhang to avoid the bruised knees.
Keep up the good work. Love the video content- #keystonelight. I hope the raccoons don’t cause to much damage. But I am rooting for them, might keep you up at night.
Curious what your weekly % of LP consumption is at. I installed a 2nd tank to save on spending winter prices for fillups but with a home and detached big garage along with several appliances and extra car garage heater, I got through average of 7% a week on a 1000 gal tank. I dont keep garages more than 46 to 54F during winter. Luckily this was a warmer winter since LP was 2x more expensive. I also have a whole home genny that exercises every 2wks a few mins and runs when power is out. That guy alone will consume about 8% a day.
Did they do anything regarding the window condensation? We have double hung windows, and during extreme temp changes and cold, we have it show up on the bottom of the top window where it could maybe be a little more prone to air coming in. I've read where this isn't un-common on homes that are well insulated and sealed. Curious what your people said.
I have a couple of cheap ones that I was using but this is my main one that is cell based so I get the images on my phone - amzn.to/3YAXRfI (affiliate link)

Idk what you feed your pets and I'm by no means an expert but I wonder what a certified vet nutritionist would say about if a fresh food diet could help. Since 99% of vets are not certified to give you diet advice, and only promote the brand who pays them, it's hard to find a certified vet nutritionist but I wonder if a naturopathic might have some natural things that could help also. Dr. Karen Becker and Rodney Habib have great information about fresh feeding too.
@@RyanKnorr Nice! Glad to hear, most people just continue feeding kibble since that is what they have always done and associate the issue with the breed. We were actually able to fix one of our cats ear issues with chiropractic.

Looking Good, Ryan! Building a house is a time-consuming job. You have a great attitude about it. It will all be worth it in the end.
Hi Kelsey and Ryan. Greetings from St. Pete Beach, FL instead of Muscatine, IA. Thumbs up.
Great video Ryan! It's a crazy world these days, but your vids always bring a little peacefullness and normalcy. So sorry to hear about little Westie, I wish him a long and happy life.
Loved this. You’re quite the story teller and very good with the camera.
Your dogs so lucky to have a parent take good care of them . Love your channel
First Aussie 😁. The magic of the winter landscape at the Lawn Ranch Homestead 🤠

Such a beautiful view walking out of the garage!
Your outdoor videography is a gift, Ryan Knorr!
The sun will be a lot higher in the summer, so I bet that'll be in the shade!
The trail cam is a great idea for your channel Great vid looking forward to more !
Really nice workout chopping the wood for the summer time bon fire! Everything is looking very nice! Don't work too hard!
Really, enjoyed this Ryan..thanks
Poplar is the absolute best wood for trim. Nice 👍
The house is looking great!

It changes daily haha
Love the video work man, an amazing landscape! Brings me back memories of central wisconsin :)
Ryan, you sure take some pretty pictures. It's fun watching your home progress.

Hey Knorrs, I enjoyed this video!
Looks like the doggies had a good time in the snow! 😀 I really hope you can get into the main house sooner than later...

Awesome as usual❤
They're back

Snow is pretty there but I just could not handle that cold weather. I am from Ga. So it is a milder winter
Seeing the deer nose the camera is precious! I would try to get a photo of the deer nose and frame it. I love closeups of animal’s noses.❤
They say deer know their terrain like you know your own living room. If someone installed a small device in your living space you’d probably notice…
Awesome video keep up the good work and love the view and animals
At least you gave him a good life while you had him. They always take a piece of you when its their time to go.

The better question is when does Knorr Family Turf Farm open for tours along with the gift shop?

Great video, Ryan. It’s great to see how your new place is coming along. Are you able to share a link to the trail camera you use?

baseboard before flooring?
Instead of taking the dog outside, have you thought about getting puppy pads for him to potty indoors?
No westie for me, though they're cute I still prefer bichon frise's
What trail cam do you use?

Love the trail cam adventures Ryan!. Maybe set it up with a water source next summer.
You could have done the in floor heating with a Geothermal heat pump. Propane is expensive and has to be filled.
Really like the photo edits you did here. Are they presets? If so, where can I find them?
All custom edits
@@RyanKnorrnice job! Really like the style

Ryan use a blower when is floffy ! way easier !

Actually they have been to a certified nutritionist and also do natural remedy medicine as well.
