Holy crap this kid is on the move. I had no idea he moved and built such a sick house!
Congrats! Been watching you for a while, the evolution is amazing!
I went on a RUclips search for a random answer to a grass question. Now my family looks forward to sitting down and enjoying these cinematic works of art.
You just happened to stumble upon the hands down best grass, soil, mowing, renovating and lawnscaping expert on the internet. Ryan and his incredible content will change your life and lawn. Enjoy!

It's a dinner time treat for me and the Mrs to watch your videos and catch up on how your life on the new property is developing.
Thank you again for all that you've taught us and shared with us over the years!
Thanks for watching!
Great stuff! One thing is for certain... Y'all ain't afraid of hard work.
Looks like a perfect place for you two. Good for you
Kelsey...as a professional gardener....no matter how much you know and how much prep you do......gardens will always be 'hit and miss'......they are a living entity.....as that one saying on the covered bridge mentioned....."a perfect life is a life full of imperfection"
Place looks awesome. Great mix of rustic and refined!
Awesome story telling. Loved it. Great scenery, tunes, and times of togetherness.
Beautiful scenery Midwest has gorgeous views. I like e the little bit of fog
You all are just really awesome! 😊
I love rural America! It’s home and there is nothing I wouldn’t do to protect it. It’s beautiful.
For a year and 10 days and that size..........INCREDIBLE WORK!!!!!!!!
Awesome video as always. Loved the dinner/movie date out on the property well done 👍 😊
Ryan your videos like these are master pieces......... cinema quality with the music
You two seem like such a sweet couple.... and wow, what you have accomplished in such a short time... I love the way you do your channel... you dont do the "im a youtuber, so this is how you do it" thing and you dont try too hard to "entertain" your audiance. I like that you document what is going on in your life and I like hearing the way you speak about it.. its so relaxing to watch... you have a beutiful land; reminds me of how I grew up... lots of wild, wide open spaces to live, breath, and enjoy life ...simply.
Awesome RK! Bravo
I absolutely love watching your videos, The Production, music and storytelling just make them a pleasure to watch. Thank you and keep them coming
Thanks for the update.
What a beautiful property! I’m grateful to tag along on your journey from a far. The way you so neatly tie everything together though your editing is a true talent. I always feel better after watching your film and soaking it in. So well done!
Man the way you created feeling and emotion with this video was great. Spring is the greatest time in Iowa. Kudos from Altoona.
I started getting emotional at the 19:20 mark, but a RUclips ad reeled me back in.
First Aussie 😁. Ryan , the Lawn Ranch is becoming a Zen Retreat😎
Holy cow, the property looks amazing! It's really cool to see how everything has changed in just one year and I can't wait to see how you keep improving it over the next several years. Congrats to both of you on all you've achieved with the property so far!
Nice drone work. At 11:36 (in case you missed it) you caught two deer in the lower right.
Yep I noticed that during editing :)
You two are the best!! I’ve enjoyed the transformation of Westberrie Acres and it simply amazes on how quickly you two took a parcel of land and made it into your home. Thanks so much for sharing and I keep wondering when Connor Ward is finally going to show up to visit your new place! Maybe he will finally give you the credit you deserve!!
Great update guys! Glad to see you are fully enjoying your first spring and summer at the new property! It was awesome to see the progress being made, looking forward to seeing more!
Well done guys!❤ your journey has been amazing! Thanks for bringing us along
Is this the new food forest?!! I've been waiting for this episode!
Wow! That’s a video!
Wow Kelsey...65X30.......NICE GARDEN for you!!!!!
Very nice. Thanks!! The doggies look happy too :)
When I start a video of yours I want to hit the like button knowing I won’t be disappointed and I never fast forward.
That's so beautiful, Ryan
!!!
Great story telling, guys! It's been fun seeing how all of your work has improved; it's really showing.
Love seeing how the garden is coming along! 🌱🍅🥒🫑
Looks great. It's been fun following yall's journey.
It’s like a dream! Just beautiful!
10:30 Hobo dinners. Man that brings back some camping memories! Cool video, Ryan!
I've missed seeing your progress. It's looking good guys! Thanks for sharing it!
Oh Man Kelsey is Grilling..........I wish I was Ryan.......I wish i was Ryan.........MMMMMMM!!!!!
Ryan is spoiled with the best cook ! 🎉
@@licia9marie I have now seen I do nt knwo how many of Kelsey's Mix ups(my word on the grill and it KILLS ME......I think I saw Meatballs and cheese and onion and potato....She knows where to hurt a guy right in my Bellllllllllllaaaaayyyyy!!!!!! haha.
Kelsey & Ryan, thanks for sharing this update. Really glad to see the storm shelter go in. We seem to send the storms from Nebraska over to Iowa before they get dangerous, so you'll put that to good use. If you want to get some RUclips guidance on a big garden plot, search out "Hollis and Nancys Homestead". They have a huge fenced garden area in Florida, but they also grow in containers and 5-gallon buckets. Might provide some helpful ideas to you. Oh, regarding plants in your landscape: if you decide something isn't right as planted, temporarily plant it somewhere else until you might need it again - no need to just throw the plant away, especially with the acreage you have. Can't wait to see more later!
Another beautifully done video. Thanks for the update!
Everything looks amazing. Great job!!
Missed you guys! Go Kelsie! (Life IS wonky, wonk with it)! 🙃
Super jel of the land you have. Super awesome. That garden will be amazing someday.
Looks fantastic! What a year it’s been. @ Kelsie if you haven’t, next year you may want to bury some of the fence around the garden next year, so pests can’t tunnel under, as well as jump over. 2-3 ft below 5+ above.
Yes that will definitely be part of phase 2!
very enjoyable video!
Very nice...
Looking good guys enjoy
Great video the property looks absolutely amazing
Looking great!! Send some rain north please😎
Progress sometimes feels slow but you guys have accomplished so much in the last year! It’s been fun to watch, I’m excited to see how things come along in year two!
I was wondering what you were going to do about big storms. I am glad you have a safe place
Have you seen 'How to with Doc' videos? He gives the benefits of Dirt Booster w/ compost and clover and other vegetation instead of mulch in the walk ways of the garden. Clover helps add nitrogen without extra fertilizer. Dirt Booster fixes soil.
There's no need to fix our soil. It's growing crops (berries, flowers, natives, etc) across our land like wildfire. Products like dirt booster have a good marketing pitch.
Awesome video and update. Hope to have some acres to myself in the future!
Loved it!
Oh yes
Hello! I'm watching your video, have a nice day.❤❤❤🎉🎉 I like your video❤
Just another great video!
Ps I know my bunk is in the last 10% to be finished.
Looking very nice guys, your hard work is really paying off now so enjoy! Ok, Ryan where did you get the storm shelter? I think I will go this route also with my shop, just waiting on Paul now to get started with the piers. We are so excited to get the building started!!
Midwest Storm Shelters
I’m not sure what your long term goals are for your life. But I would really think about bringing on a laborer/assistant. The 20k/25k a year for a part time employee to full manage your store and hers plus help out around the property would free you up to make videos, and tho the videos make money thru ad sense and placements. They are you major means of advertisement, marketing, the content lives forever so the more you make the more your business benefits. You’re in a unique situation and being a same business owner (construction and contracting in the northeast US) I see only upside to bring on an employee and you’ll look back wondering why you didn’t do it sooner. Only so many hours in a day so you need to leverage your time thru making videos and or leveraging others labor. Just an idea and maybe it’s the nudge you need if you were already thinking about it
Vibin yu heard
Ryan, are you able to sing anymore? I know creating video content might scratch that itch but my prayer is that your voice returns where singing gets back into the picture more…
Was that a booster seat in the truck 0:35
These old seats don't have cushion like today's stuff!
100k on a 99!? That's very low mileage but the truck looks like it's had a rough life!! My 99 suburban has over 240k on the original motor and still going strong.
Not really a rough life at all but they rust like crazy in our area
@@RyanKnorr got it. Yes, here I'm just dealing with hot dry weather fading away my paint and toasting my upholstery. Lol. Other than that, the truck runs great.
What is the name of the song in the beginning
Did y'all say the dimensions of Kelsey's garden? Maybe I missed it. We're looking to turn an area of our property into a large veggie garden. So, we're trying to decide how big of an area we want/need.
About 65x30
@@RyanKnorr Thanks! Place is looking great! Thanks for sharing all your progress with us!
Ryan do you know if Conner Ward is ok? He hasn’t posted in two months.
He did a livestream not long ago
How is your mosquito control down there?
Haven't had any issues with it really. I never thought I'd say this but thankfully it's not Minnesota haha
@@RyanKnorr coming from the Southern Indiana valley, my ankles started itching during the clips of your movie night lol
Oh man..i thought that was a bad ass walk in fridge....
I really need to order something lawn food related from you some liquid stuff
Great Song... Please us know artist for I'm gonna fly. TIA
Drew Holcomb
👏🌱🏡👍
I love it when RK goes full cinema mode on us. Incredible production quality right here.
Great job Kelsie! Much appreciation and encouragement to a fellow gardener!
That property never ceases to amaze me! So many activities!! :)
I felt like I was watching a Planet Earth documentary with those nature clips, paired with relaxing commentary and music. Great work!
I can't wait to see what Kelsey can do with such a big gardening space. Keep us posted.
This content is my favorite on RUclips right now, never want these videos to end!
Such a beautiful piece of land. I've always looked forward to your videos over the years, Ryan, but really enjoy seeing the nooks and crannies of your place. Nature at its purest.
I have so many comments but will leave with this for now... NICE JOB GUYS! This video was awesome! Nice editing and filming. Keep the garden videos coming.
I can not believe that has Just hit 100k. Ryan hold on to that BABY!!!! You will always regret getting rid of it if you do. Keep it!
It will be rusted into the ground long before that motor dies :)
@@RyanKnorr Have some work done to it now before it gets beyind repair. You got the flow!!!!! hahahahaha....I tease....but seriously a little money in it now can save it and worth it!!!!
Another great video. Lots of work put in.
You should think about a small storage shed in your camp area - chairs, small grill, etc, so you don’t need to cart it back and forth all the time.
Very cool setup all around. Super calming out there I bet. I’d love to sit on the porch and watch a storm roll in with a beer in hand 🍻
storm shelter looks like my flammable cabinet...should of dug under the garage with Spancrete and had sum guns and shit down there
This makes me want to buy 100 acres and see what I could do with it also. I'm just shocked you haven't mowed the entire property yet lol. Great video, Ryan. Glad to see you and Kelsey really making the most of Westberrie.
Would it be possible for you to look at my lawn before the fall project begins in Madrid, Iowa? Never hurts to ask :)
The depth of the top soil you guys have is bonkers. Come to Long Island sometime, I can hit sand in one shovel-full!
When you do a video such as this it reminds me of a series called Texas Country Reporter. I'm not sure if it is still on t.v.
Kelsey we want Play by play when you plant!!!!
Awesome video as usual. Absolutely beautiful! I like the camp area.
Gorgeous video making and Gods creation in s amazing!!!!!
Kelsey you Tillin' Mad Woman....Get Some!!!!
Amazing videographer and story teller.
Like the Drew Holcombe song at the beginning
Bro. I love the music you use. We have somewhat musical taste. 🍻
Are those your corn crops? What do you do with all that corn?
What is your favorite movie? I have my guess…
Amazing video
Looks like my kind of paradise.
No Dirt Booster!!! Come on man!
