Kristie's speech was an absolute massacre of Lee. I felt bad for him watching any chance of a win slip away from him. Kristie absolutely deserved that win
Finally got a chance to watch this and you are spot on. Lee was also too meek, and like someone said below, he had no idea what the jury wanted to hear, but Kristie did. She took Kylie's challenge and ran with it.
I remember lying in bed watching the finale of Australia Survivor and when Kristi starting speaking, I sat up immediately and reacting with a "wha wha whaaaaaat" and applauding her every answer and smack-down! It was amazing ... I felt so happy when she won - and I wasn't even rooting for her at the beginning of the episode.
I know it was like watching a completely different person stand just and just lay the smack down. They had to hide that part of her from the editing or it would have been just too obvious she was going to win. But having come from almost being the day 3 vote off to winning the game shows massive growth on her part.
Stumbled across a Sophie interview the other day where she said that she claimed the breakfast champagne for herself and got sloshed during her final tribal council. So that young girl line is curtesy of drinking a full bottle of champagne out of her canteen. ICONIC
In game changers, Sarah’s performance was phenomenal and understated. I’m so thrilled to see her on this list. I seriously felt myself compelled by her, by speech alone and honestly it’s made her one of my favourite winners. Just the way she nails it in.
I won’t lie, though, I used to say that Hannah deserved the win. That the sad story helped to push him to a win. But, after a few rewatches, I have to agree. That Adam, at the end, really played the best and really did slaughter the other two
I think Hannah is sooo underrated. Was she erratic and poor at communicating her thoughts? A bit. But she’s very strategically sound and fairly good socially.
TheMurrmursonbottle I agree. I think she’s quite under appreciated. She’s not the most sound player. But. Had some genuinely fine moments. And, while maybe not the strongest of the nerd girl defies odds narratives, I still found her to be one of the most likable cast members that season. Perhaps, my favourite. Next to Jessica. Both, who I think could benefit from another go at the game
I actually disagree a little - Sarah''s game was excellent, yes, but her FTC performance could have been even a bit better. she still acted a bit too much as a cold gamebot, while I think someone like Andrea would appreciate a more genuine apology/behaviour. still a great game tho.
I'd liken Sarah's arc to a relationship between a rookie and a veteran cop. The first part is when she, an eager rookie, is paired with a hardened veteran. She's down relatively early while her partner goes the distance one more time. The second part is when she's has a few years under her belt and isn't so idealistic. Her partner the veteran is gunned down in battle, forcing her to pick up his torch and possibly do some morally questionable things for the sake of heading off an even more distasteful situation. Not only does she display none of the characteristics indicated in the first part (kind of like Amber Brkich here), she actually goes the distance herself. I cannot overstate just how developed Sarah Lacina has become. Especially given her handling of Cirie the master outwitter.

She thought that Coach could win the votes over her if he said the right words at the FTC but even though she didn't think he would say the right words, she was getting kind of peeved when Jeff kept giving him opportunities to try.
She clearly had built the case against him for some time. The way she revealed the idol thing and secured brandons vote was brilliant. That exposed coach for being deceptive manipulator which got votes away from him since his case was being honorable.
Coach was awful indeed, but I also think Sophie kinda knew there was very little chance he would suddenly stop being delusional and hypocritical at FTC.

Does anyone else think Michele's Final Tribal Performance was amazing? She articulated her game really well, and she utilised the theme of the season to her advantage to make her case even stronger.
I think a lot of what makes Survivor interesting is that you are dealing with real people. A strategy that wins you 1 season wont necessarily win you the next season because everybody views and plays differently. The best players are those who adapt to the people they are playing with. If everyone is amicable, you need to connect on a personal level. If everyone is highly competitive, you need have strategy and be ruthless. And most importantly, OWN UP TO IT at tribal council. Nobody wants to vote for somebody who blundered their way there. Earn it.

When you're right you're right. I remember watching Christie's performance wondering "who the hell is this woman??", while looking at the jury thinking the same thing
While Kristie didn’t play one of my favorite winning games in survivor history, her FTC performance is miles above anyone else. She flipped nearly the entire jury from not wanting to vote for her to writing her name down in just explaining her game. She absolutely deserved that win, even if her game wasn’t the flashiest she made the right moves to get her to the end and ultimately was able to portray that to the jury and it WORKED. Love her, so happy to see her get the love she deserves for that absolutely incredible speech.
I loved Kristie at the final tribal council. I thought she was going to lose against Lee; but when she started talking I was impressed; she got my vote hehe
It really says something that a year later and this is still my favorite video you've ever made I believe. Kind of hoping for a part 2 where you talk about the 10 worst FTC performances. Would love to see you go on about such greats like Twila, Sugar, and of course "I'm so nervous" Sherri 😆
Probably would have included Kim Spradlin’s performance in the top 10. She was so eloquent in her answers. Now I believe you need to do the reverse of this episode. Time for the worst!
Aaron Jakes honestly, I don’t think Kim is in the top 10 just because she didn’t really have to do any persuading or convincing. She was so strong throughout and her performance in FTC was just a continuation of that
If that list is done, Russell, Amanda, Noura, Natalie T, and (to quote Peridiam, get ready to potentially be blindsided by my final top 5 pick) Rob in AS have to be up there
Kim was so good in her game and heR FTC that she didn’t even mention she found an idol in the game as it didn’t even make a difference in how good she was
I love you have Kristie at #1. It is by far the best final tribal council performance ever. Going into it every jury member was openly questioning every decision she made but she managed to get every one of them to vote for her (except El, the half of the power couple to the person sitting next to Kristie) "I went through the entire game to 20 tribal councils. I knew who was going home every single time" & "Every time somebody made a big play they were voted out right after" will forever remain in Survivor lore I think Kristie not only has the best final tribal council performance but also the best play from the bottom. From final 9 she was the swing vote and decided who goes home almost every time and was never in trouble.
@@Peridiam Australian Survivor definitely is. New Zealand Season 1 was imo just okay, haven't watched the second yet tho (people say it's better?) and South Africa is another good-to-watch one...?
I call him being in either Fans vs Favorites 3 or wait a couple years and they could put him on the Millenials tribe in Centennials vs Millenials. Hopefully, I'll be on there with him. One can only dream.
People underestimate Sandra's social skills. She manages to tell you what you want to hear and still make it about her. Dealing with other people's ego (specially "celebrities") is so hard and tricky. She should be on this ranking.
I agree 110% of all survivors out there Australia survivor where Kristie won was the best off them all. Not only was the jury and Jonathan shocked but the world also. when Jonathan shaid: Christie what would you like ti say to the Jury, everyone looked at her like she a chicken who doesnt deserve/going to win the money. But damn did she punch them in their faces with words.
When you first said that the best performance was from an international season, I would have been distraught if it was not Kristie's performance. I watched the season from RUclips, and accidentally saw someone's comment on the final episode saying something about Kristie winning, and I was so convinced that she had no chance, that I put it off as reading it incorrectly. Even after she won the final immunity challenge, I thought she voted off the wrong person and was going to be lucky to get a few votes. Once the final tribal came, I sat in awe as EVERY single answer she gave blew everyone's minds and she just kept getting better. Hands down the most invested I have ever been for a finale in a very long time. TLDR: Kristie's performance was phenomenal.
Great video! I completely agree with #1... my jaw was on the floor that entire tribal council. I disagree with Nick, though. Many post game interviews suggest that Mike lost that tribal more than Nick won it - meaning people were planning on voting for Mike until Mike said he wasn’t sure if he wanted to win (this was left out of the episode). It’s more what Mike said that won Nick the game than what Nick said.
I can understand why that would get cut out, but if it's true, why would Mike still get three votes? If he opted to quit, why would Kara, Allison, and freaking Christian (someone who was playing so hard himself) respect him enough to give a quitter their vote. Also, no one in Rob Cesternino's podcast mentioned anything about that in their exit interviews.
Roger Towny Jr. listen to Christian’s post game retrospective interview on RHAP - Christian actually tears up talking about it. He says everyone felt as though Nick played the game well, but some felt that Mike played it better. Gabby also said in one of her interviews that she had intended to vote for Mike until he expressed that he wasn’t sure if he wanted to win.
@@ryan-mq7ci Do you think Mike not wanting to win was a key factor in why Allison was voted out 5th instead of him? Because for a while, it did look like Nick and Kara were seriously considering voting Mike out at 5th, and honestly, I thought that would have been a the smarter move for them. But if he was just going to throw in the towel by the finals, I can see why they kept him in.
Roger Towny Jr. he did not express this til the final tribal. His reasoning was that he was conflicted about winning the money over someone who potentially needed it more than him. Gabby then asked him specifically “Mike, do you even want to win?” To which his response was “I’m conflicted.” Again, these are quotes from Christian and Gabby in post game retrospective interviews on Rob Cesternino’s podcast. They were edited out of the main show - I’m guessing because it makes Nick’s win seem less deserving.

100% agree with your number 1! After an early disastrous attempt (the final four all threatened to quit!), Australian Survivor has come on STRONG, to lead the way. And they play for 55 days!
"Brenda. BRENDA" I love how you emphasized my girl. :) Anyways, I enjoyed the video a lot and I agree with this list. Question tho- These are the top 10 best final tribal council performances, but, do you think these would be the top 10 winners?
How about a top 10 "individual immunity performances". One specific challenge where a contestant dominated, like Christian (DvG) in the endurance challenge against Alec.
As an Aussie: Kristies performance made me so proud of Australian Survivor. Because it has not and will not be topped, it was a masterclass in justifing the way you played the game. Goddamn was it worth watching through the arguably rougher Aussie seasons it to see her slide in and pull the rug out from under Lee.
i watch this video 3. or 4. time. i started watching survivor official with australia first. and some of the final tribal councils. great work. and thank you for the entertainment:)
Cool video, think it’s worth noting you said Frosti didn’t give Todd his vote at the end, but Todd did get Frosti’s vote, along with JR, Jaime and Peih-Gee. Erik voted for Amanda while James and Denise voted for Courtney.
If this were redone today, I would definitely expect Chris from EoE on this list. He really milks the jury and makes them feel like he deserves the win even though he only played for 13 days.
Is Kristie the one who claimed that the other people at her camp were hiding her bag? Cause that’s the only clip I’ve seen of Australian survivor and she seemed absolutely crazy in that.
I really loved this longer, in-depth analysis. I really hope you do Worst Tribal Council Performances now, for both laughs and a warning to viewers for how not to play Survivor.
Because it wasn't much of a competition. No one was going to vote for Becky, and while Ozzy did have an impressive physical game, his social skills were shit compared to Yul.
@@Peridiam I agree - Yul was an awesome player, but his FTC performance was imo "just" good. also the jury sometimes rolled eyes at his overly diplomatic answers and if I'm correct, he got the vote from Adam because he kept him in the game longer - for which Adam promised to vote for him

I just started the video so idk if Nick from last season made it, but that dude had every corner of the game covered in his answers. Not one of his comments had a rebuttal from the jury. Didn't even have followup questions.
My rant just gave me a potential video idea... Maybe you could talk about how the edit influences people’s perception and not just the Purple Edit which you’ve already touched on. I mean the winner’s edit that can be used to decide early on who the winner is (like Wendell’s, Mike’s or Jeremy’s) and the other roles that people take on which can be seen in how they’re portrayed.

Tell that one to the Adam haters, because too many people incorrectly think he only swept the jury because of the sob story
34 minutes you think I can be bothered to watch this ? Yes, yes I can
When you're right you're right.
I remember watching Christie's performance wondering "who the hell is this woman??", while looking at the jury thinking the same thing
best reality show plot-twist ever
I absolutely loved how natural that was, we really were equally shocked as the jury
Thank you for the long, entertaining video! Appreciate you taking the time to make it.
Thank you Chubby Nugget! I like your name.
Wouldn't be a complete list without Natalie Tenerelli and Amanda
@@NYChica23 I would probably have them at 3and 2. Sherri from Caramoan is number one hands down
Peridiam: "The no. 1 is from Australian Survivor"
Me: "David Genat?"
**checks the date of the video's release** "Aw..."
I gotta start watching Australian Survivor. Damb Peridiam! You did great in this video. Also Sandra made great performances in her seasons. 👌
I am so happy you put her at number 1, I completely agree. She has the best final tribal I've ever seen
10:45 Nick - “And Elizabeth the thoroughbreds, we’re both from Kentucky.”
Peridiam - “Right out of the gate...” lol
Going into it every jury member was openly questioning every decision she made but she managed to get every one of them to vote for her (except El, the half of the power couple to the person sitting next to Kristie)
"I went through the entire game to 20 tribal councils. I knew who was going home every single time" & "Every time somebody made a big play they were voted out right after" will forever remain in Survivor lore
I think Kristie not only has the best final tribal council performance but also the best play from the bottom. From final 9 she was the swing vote and decided who goes home almost every time and was never in trouble.
So glad to see Kristie on here 🙌🏻
Loved the Goku reference too.
I’ll be waiting for you to hit 100k
I really need to start watching these foreign seasons.
They're 100% worth it.
@@Peridiam Australian Survivor definitely is.
New Zealand Season 1 was imo just okay, haven't watched the second yet tho (people say it's better?)
and South Africa is another good-to-watch one...?
This should be updated to include Maryanne’s final tribal performance in Survivor 42.
I think Cochran played the perfect game of survivor in his second run, the master of self deprecation
Peridiam, if you know so much about how to play the game, then apply. Lots of us want to see if you can actually win! 🔥
I call him being in either Fans vs Favorites 3
or wait a couple years and they could put him on the Millenials tribe in Centennials vs Millenials.

Does that sound like someone who kicks the bucket in the Final Tribal Council to you?
Roger Towny Jr. he did not express this til the final tribal. His reasoning was that he was conflicted about winning the money over someone who potentially needed it more than him. Gabby then asked him specifically “Mike, do you even want to win?” To which his response was “I’m conflicted.” Again, these are quotes from Christian and Gabby in post game retrospective interviews on Rob Cesternino’s podcast. They were edited out of the main show - I’m guessing because it makes Nick’s win seem less deserving.
Agreed with Nick, Adam, Cochran, and JT
Best Performance ever is Todd.
I’d put Sandra (2nd win), Jenna M, Denise, Kim and Boston Rob on my list.
✊🏽😀 Kristy flying the flag 🇦🇺. I had Lee going into that final just to be left sitting there mouth open! 😳😂🤣😂
Great recognition Peridiam.👍🏽 Respect. Pity she wasn't in present Aussie Survivor + tragic Lee had to exit too but 'Golden God' showing his legitimacy. Great list, great post! 🙂👍🏽
"...pouring kerosene on her ashen colored bridges." DIED. Such truth!!
100% agree with your number 1! After an early disastrous attempt (the final four all threatened to quit!), Australian Survivor has come on STRONG, to lead the way. And they play for 55
days!
"Brenda. BRENDA" I love how you emphasized my girl. :) Anyways, I enjoyed the video a lot and I agree with this list. Question tho- These are the top 10 best final tribal council performances, but, do you think these would be the top 10 winners?
Love the long videos...
We need more asap
I love this channel. My commute seemed so much shorter. Thanks for the great content.
How about a top 10 "individual immunity performances". One specific challenge where a contestant dominated, like Christian (DvG) in the endurance challenge against Alec.
Thank you for the Australian Survivor spoiler warning! I really need to watch it.
What about Bob Crowley’s? He had to go against two tough opponents and beat them both!!!!!!
Bob is #0
Peridiam no u
yeah susie was a phenominal player, really unmatched and really shoulda won
cirie cant hold a candle
I know!!!
Suzie was a friggin mastermind the whole season and Sugar's social game reached the stars
peridiam is bitter and jealous
Two tough opponents? Sugar was basically playing for Bob to win, so his only real competition was Susie
I think this is the list I've agreed most with of your videos. Amazing stuff!
i watch this video 3. or 4. time. i started watching survivor official with australia first. and some of the final tribal councils. great work. and thank you for the entertainment:)
What? 34 MINUTES! Thank you Peridiam, very cool.
I would love to see your take on the top 10 worst final tribal council performances! Or funniest/most entertaining. :)
another amazing video. it's guys like eagerturtle and peridiam that reassure me that i'm not as obsessed with survivor/bb as i think lol
Cool video, think it’s worth noting you said Frosti didn’t give Todd his vote at the end, but Todd did get Frosti’s vote, along with JR, Jaime and Peih-Gee. Erik voted for Amanda while James and Denise voted for Courtney.
Great video bro , just when I thought you ran out of ideas you surprised me
I love the not Moving IS a move
The fact that Kristie went to every tribal and never cast a wrong vote is insane.
Actually she did, She voted for Andrew when Kat was voted out, she said she knew who was going home every time
She also voted for Nick when Kate went home
If this were redone today, I would definitely expect Chris from EoE on this list. He really milks the jury and makes them feel like he deserves the win even though he only played for 13 days.
Watching this in 2023 and I have to assume that Maryanne would crack the top ten if the list was being made today 😊
Oh, she would absolutely be on this list if he remade it.
Earl is def the Goat at the end.
Because of this video i watched the autrialian survivor and im relly really impress with kristy's gameplay... really awesome!
Honestly, I like to imagine I could give a jury speech like Kristie or Todd, but it would probably end up more like Sherri's
Will you do this for Big Brother? Not tribal council, but whatever they call that part where the final two talk to the jury....
Sure!
TODD DID GET FROSTI'S VOTE IN THE END!
If he updated this video Tony in WaW would definitely be on it
Yay a long video! Loved it.
What about Yul Kwon?
It was good. Somewhere in the 11-20 range.
Because it wasn't much of a competition. No one was going to vote for Becky, and while Ozzy did have an impressive physical game, his social skills were shit compared to Yul.
@@Peridiam I agree - Yul was an awesome player, but his FTC performance was imo "just" good.
also the jury sometimes rolled eyes at his overly diplomatic answers
and if I'm correct, he got the vote from Adam because he kept him in the game longer - for which Adam promised to vote for him
I would go Chris, Yul, Todd, Parvati, Sandra (HvV), Cochran, Tyson, Tony, Natalie, Adam (No particular order)
Nick could have even been higher
Very good video, and thanks for making it long. Longer is better lol.
Is it just me or should perdiam just go on the mf show already... I wanna see him in action!
Russell Hantz in HvV is number 1, right?
Seriously, though, good video!
I need access to Australian survivor :'(

www1.swatchseries.to/serie/australian_survivor
Will this work for you?
basically just google "watchseries australian survivor" and you should be good
@@charliez077 I'm not afraid to admit I'm quite gullible, and I just don't want to risk getting a virus on my phone. The other option is watching on PS4, but that's basically just asking for someone to hack me by looking it up on that lol
I think CBS should have way to view other countries series if you pay for all access.
Can you make a video about worst ftc performances? We all know who will be on the list but it'll be fun to watch you narrating it.
lol, I could do a Top 10. Anyone you think should be included?
Peridiam Aside from the more popular ones, I think you should consider Albert, Sherri, Phillip, and Mick.
Man you got it right. I was ready to say “You should watch the Australian cause Kristie was the best ever”
What an intro aye 😉
Earl is such a forgotten winner but I think his ftc performance was fantastic.
I'm so disappointed about that number 1 though since it's not even U.S and I couldn't relate.. meh
You should 100% watch the Australian Survivors if you can. The three seasons since its reboot have all been fantastic, some of the best Survivor content in the world ever.
Brenda's fire and brimstone was so directed at Dawn that I don't even remember her question to Cochran! XD
I just finished Australian Survivor 2016 an MY GOD! Kristie did such a phenomenal job. Loved her that season.
Number one I completely agree with. I went into the final episode thinking there was a 5% chance they would win
