Flats I feel like you say "chat its been a minute we haven't done this in a while" every single tiktok video lately
It has been awhile
I mean for RUclips he can stretch out the content but when he films on stream he does it all at once. So like he splits that 1 vod into like 3-4 videos
Listen we haven’t done these in awhile
At this point, its like clockwork with him
He does it for the fact he may not upload it as quickly as he has
"For some reason let's say Lucio gets gigabuffed". I'd be surprised if Blizzard even acknowledges that Lucio is in the game
Considering how every new map is littered with needless details on the walls that make wallriding hell. I think they already have. Circuit royale sucks, dude.
I'd say paraiso is worse 😂 @@munchlax6577

the clip at 2:30ish can be explained rather easily as whats basically happening is Roadhog pulls Rein into him, however he is eliminated at the same second that Rein touches his hitbox, so that seems to cause all of the velocity gained from hook to be instantly released in some kind of strange recoil. Ive managed to replicate something very similar in Minecraft, but this is basically physics engine interacting with the sudden erasure of a being in a strange way. Also suspecting that this works only with roadhog since hes the only one who can take characters from Z to A while also keeping them in a killable state, so Lifeweaver "shouldnt" work for this.
indeed LW pulling someone through a killbox gives LW comically high mitigation as he mitigates death itself
Yup. I have a clip of this saved that happened to me.
the hog jump thing might have happened cuz rein was on top of the hog right as he took enviromental dmg which usually sends your corpse flying which transfered all the momentum to the rein making him fly up
I really enjoy the one shot characters simply because getting kills actually feels possible
BRING BACK SPECTATING BRONZE!!
Agreed
Flats: I don’t wanna be that guy
Also Flats: Well actually….
Him saying he doesn't want to be "that guy" is a pile of bullshit. It's literally his entire personality.
Having a lot of burst damage is fun, but only for the side not getting deleted. While it's good to have ways to confirm kills, I'd like to see a version of the game where the damage and heals are both nerfed to more manageable levels. Of course then, you have some characters whose whole gimmick is burst damage, like Bastion for example, who might need some significant changes in order to not completely suck with lowered damage but also not overrun the meta like the last couple of seasons.
I mean burst damage can still be fair even if its made difficult. Like a nano blade isn't necessarily fair, but a genji dash headshotting you is a fair burst dps cause its incredibly difficult to pull off. Lucios triple headshot boop melee is a one shot, but its fair because its so damn hard to pull off on moving targets. A one clip is a fair burst damage option because its precise tracking and is hard to do. Zen spamming volleys or kiriko spamming kunais isn't fair.
I’ve always felt like DPS players just want support characters to be there for the sole purpose of getting killed, which is fun for the DPS player.
Why are the queue times still low for support when you can just play bap and be soldier 76 with a 1 min queue lol
@matthewbrears2129 that just you being low rank. At master and above Supports have the longest que times even after the nerfs.
Currently in my rank Tank que is less than a minute. Dps is 1-2 minutes. And support is 3-8 minutes
@@AnikethBandinanoblade should be better though, you are stuffing two ultimates down to try and win a fight
But it can be countered by two heroes looking at the floor and hitting an aoe ability?
Or a single cc ruining the whole combo aspect?
I think junkrat shouldn't get a nerf, unlike bastion, his damage ain't consistent
"Supports using their kit to support the team omg no way"
Me when I use my DPS kit to kill a support (what the hell?)((thats not legal stop that))
Its because support is immortal
Wdym. You don't kill supports with your DPS kit. They kill you with just their primary fire
I need more of these because they are like educational commentaries for newer players like me on what to and not to do
God forbid you say that landing 5 man shatter plus grav consecutively and then anti nade, shouldn't be countered by 3 basic abilities on tik tok.
and someone dares to call that teamwork
@@kello2.077most people replying are probably gold max
He didn't land a shatter, Kiriko suzu'd it no one ever fell. Is rein blocking shatter also OP? They used both of Baptiste's abilities and kitsune to survive the grav that had no follow-up, and then Baptiste melted tanks using his ult and kitsune against -150hp open queue tanks.
So 2 tank ults got canceled by a skill react from the Kiriko stopping the shatter from landing, 2 abilities from Baptiste in their most optimal possible use case along with a Kitsune rush for faster healing managed to counter a grav, and then some 400hp tanks got deleted standing in front of a Kintsune Window.
How exactly was any of this Supports being OP in anything other than your echo chamber? Some things about supports can feel OP when they or their teammates don't get punished for mistakes, but if this clip show's supports are OP then I can also show you plenty of montages showing Junkrat, Genji, Reaper and Hammond are OP.
@@lukasg4807 Both the Sigma and Rein are full HP. The Bap's ability is the problem, the entire team got hit by the entire enemy team when they were all balled up and nobody died because a cooldown ability got tossed out. The Bap then basically 2 taps the Sig, the Rein tried to make space for his Zarya and got popped in less than a second with full HP, armor and a Zarya orb.
2 tank ults got cancelled by a COOLDOWN ABILITY that you only need to wait to refresh, you don't charge it like an ult. All of the team damage got shut off by a COOLDOWN ABILITY and then everyone got healed all the way back up because the Kiri ulted.
Do you use your brain when you type or are you living in a copium cloud?
@@lukasg4807 two very powerfull teamfight winning ults completely neutralised by 3 basic abilities. Then they use ults to solo win the fight. It’s not an echo chamber argument my guy.
You know that widow who’s constantly destroying your team and your tank is refusing to swap?
*proceeds to not talk about widow at all, nor the tank or how to deal with that situation.*
Yeah her content usually starts off with a buzz quote to get the short attention span of a tiktoker to pay attention so she can tell them what they NEED to hear not what they want to hear
6:56 "Aim is crucial for any support hero besides moira." -Proceeds to track the genji as moira poorly
Last season when the support debate was going on. I love how people would counter with lucio and mercy. "Or supports are supporting." The best part is that these people probably think genji is OP.
It's funny because you could make the same arguments for tanks at the launch of OW2.
With the introduction of Virus and Mauga it looks like they might be trying to work more with temp health and damage over time to dilute the massive burst potential for healing and damage. Adding a delay to damage like with Illari ult and magnetic grenade is another way to give supports an opportunity to help teammates if they don't have huge burst heals.
14:28 “Counter Play!” Love that clip u made
Flats reacting never fails to make me giggle
I want Ana to be able to use her ult on herself “ I’m powered up”
2:35 OH FUCK I THINK I KNOW WHAT CAUSES THIS!!!
It's a bhop! Bhops in Overwatch are a momentum transfer. The hook makes him go really fast and then he bhops immediately after! And I'm guessing he wasn't holding any directional inputs so he went up instead of forward.
From what I know it has to do with the physics engine and the sudden erasure of the thing bringing him from point A to B that leaves them still kill able
Same trick can occasionally be done in Minecraft
@@temmlygaming5509 What do you mean by killable?
Also in any case I'm fairly certain the bhop theory is correct.
@@minimalgrammar1276 killable means lifeweaver technically can't do the same thing as hog does
@@temmlygaming5509 Please just explain it directly lmfao
For the reinhardt saving itself after killing the roadhog into the abyss, if I had to guess it probably has something to do with the hitbox probably doing some wacky stuff when the character gets killed by the deathplane and the rein hitting just the right spot for it to propel him out of the hitbox, kinda like what was happening with the pylon jump with illari a while back
Brig needs one more pack
Just leave please lol
As someone who plays brig. No this is a terrible change her healing is already really good.
"And I mean... PEE PEE POOF" hahaha you killed me on that one
Flail does 35, so 2 of those is 70, plus Shield Bash's 50, plus the 80 dmg on Whipshot clears the 200hp breakpoint. So that's why Brig was a must-pick for S7.
Brig was the LEAST picked support in s7, she only had very high winrate. She has a clear niche and does it well thus the high winrate but calling her a must pick is a fucking joke. The problem is that blizzard's definition of "best performing hero" is just winrate while totally ignoring if said hero has low asf pickrate like in this case, super low pickrate and high winrate means that 1. She has alot of specialists playing her boosting the winrate 2. She rarely gets picked outside optimal maps/team comps by non specialist players. Brig is not optimal at all outside dive comps and the only dive tank that performed in high elo last season was doom, in low elo probably not even doom performed.
Doomfist is harder than Sigma, Wrecking ball too
nah wrecking balls max form is wayyy harder, but base form knowledge of wrecking ball is easier than base doom
id say wrecking ball is a little harder then both of those
@@WarConicX I have pretty much the opposite opinion. Max doom is harder imo but base doom is easier.
look at all the ball techs you can learn its actually endless@@lukasg4807
There is a Rock/Paper/Scissor for Comps BUT map is also depending
idk if its just me but I think its ok for ults to get countered by abilities mainly bc if the ults were guaranteed kills, they would be just as unfun to play against as the support abilities are, so even if you do get stunned by a shatter, you are not guaranteed to die.
and before you say “support ults should only counter other ults” then there wouldnt be room for fun aggressive support ults like kitsune and nano, if they were all just defensive like beat and trance then it would just be repetitive and boring
The rein head jump in guessing it’s the roadhog slingshot tech because it works like lifeweaver’s grip where if cancelled the target maintains momentum. For hog the only way to cancel the hook is using ult or dying.
DIDNT EVEN START THE CLIP AND I WAS SLANDERED IMMEDIATELY LMAO
That last clip is amazing, poor rein and poor zarya
2:16 bro Smash Bros footstooled him.
I like using aim maps to warm up for a few minutes right before I hop into matches. It helps just loosen my hand muscles and get the flow going.
Some of these give me brain rot
Never knew it was possible to footstool someone in overwatch. But that rein showed that roadhog lmao
Pretty useful against hanzo and genji actually
I feel like a good way to deal with burst healing is to turn some of it into regen I don’t know the exact stats but let’s say baps heal does 75 currently you could convert 50 of that to regen having 25 hp heals immediately and then another 25 let’s say every 1 3/4 second until it reaches 75 health grand and then each hit of baps heal would have a different timer for the regen depending on when it hits
Footstooled the hog lol.
The rein Mario tech happened to me once except I was on ball; same map, same(?) interaction with hook, same wtf reaction afterwards
11:40 dude the silver/plat support mains are huffen some real good copuim
A mix between both is good on the aim train thing just playing quick play will take longer to get the same result as practice with a mix of experience
Aim training is only useful for 1. Warming up, 2. Very new fps players, and 3. Training specific aim tech. I play a lot of Valorant so my vertical aim is absolute dog water, that means I use the vertical aim trainer in Overwatch and its helped me a lot. But the best tip is to have a warm up routine. I saw a lot of aim improvements and consistence with a proper routine.
(Aim trainers to train > Unrated matches to solidify what you practice) After that I play comp.
I thought "do not go near the brig mains" was a subreddit lol
Flats: "You now can cancel ults on a cooldown"
Yeah, we've been able to do that for almost the entire lifespan of OW. The first hero they added to the game literally dropped with a sleep dart and anti-healing.
I play the aim trainers while in Q, I find it helps A LOT.

10:00 in the top 3 i would definitly have doom ball and tracer... to really win games with the character its probably ball
I didn't know that Rein can footstool in this game
The hog 1 when rein gets launched up hog is dying just at the end of his hook pull so i think thats what causes him to launch up
If they have a Widow rolling us, I go Moira and annoy her.
Why does it feel like Flats expects a single tank ult to win the entire team fight, he's thinking in terms of overwatch 1, a completely different game. 5v5 with the two new game modes and heroes and new player base have pushed overwatch patches and games themselves into a dynamic where 95% of the player base are having these massive team fights spread across a huge area and not a tiny corridor (like with what we had in 2CP). Supports job has become 100% more important because the second one of your supports stops doing their job, dies, or mistimes an ability your team gets sent back to spawn instantly. So in situations where the Baptiste and Kiriko countered a single zarya grav by using every one of their very long cooldown abilities, you can't say "OMG WOW SUPPORT OP" Because the second you don't get all those abilities to counter the zarya grav your Rein slam afterwards becomes worthless
I'll say this, I do have a desire to improve, but I don't want to play competitive. I've played a few competitive games before and I just don't want to get back into that life again. It's just not me anymore.
That said, I've been playing a ton of QP and it really has helped me a lot. But I'm really interested in trying some of these shooting range modes as well. Last year, I was diagnosed with MS after having years of issues, and particularly after one worsening of my situation that left me with some permanent pain and nerve damage. I'm doing my best.
Honestly, considering my limitations, how much of a struggle it is to use a mouse in aim, it's remarkable I've improved so much; I did a lot of playing in the beta, and I played most of my time in OverWatch 1 and haven't really gotten into 2 yet until now, but all the playing I've been doing has been working wonders. Unfortunately, it leaves my right hand incredibly sore some days, a pain that lingers for multiple days if I overwork it, and while I do improve it's a slow process, and on those days it's pretty agonizing as well.
I work all right under pressure and I think I've become pretty decent at the game overall; I wouldn't say good, I wouldn't say bad. I mean I'm not going to say Masters or anything like that, even Platinum... I imagine I am Gold at best. I'm probably just too "get in the fight" and I don't have a lot of game since yet, so I would say mechanically I'm Gold. But every time I make a solid play, it makes me feel a little better about myself in my situation, so that's nice.
That said, these lobbies do sound like a very nice alternative to just constantly playing, and I think if I establish myself a little bit of drilling here and there, to get some routine practicing without the pressure or, more importantly, without the down time of just dying and running back to the point to possibly die again--which uses of a lot of time--I think it'll help me get used to my new sensitivity adjustments and maybe make any changes going forward.
Idk about the widow one. Whenever there is a widow dunking my team, I’ve gotten very practiced killing widow as reaper so I don’t scream at the tank for trying to do what they do
Since the beginning of ow2 it’s crazy to see how much ow has been simplified and dumbed down - never before have I seen graphics of “these are the 3 comps and these are the characters that work with them and they COUNTER EACH OTHER LIKE ROCK PAPER SCISSORS”. This I can say is in part to tiktok and also the removal of a tank removing some more tactical parts of the game. Also surely the top 3 hardest characters are tracer, doom and monkey. Tracer goes without saying, doom is a potentially higher skill ceiling character than tracer, and when you watch top dooms there’s so much decision making around when to engage and how. And ignoring all of monkey’s neutral play, decision making and positioning which are already really hard, his ult alone is mechanically the most niche ult and more mechanically intense than the entirety of like 80% of the ow cast
best place for huge burst dmg and healing is in ultimates, not as a secondary fire/ability with short cooldowns
It could be secondary fire/ability with short cooldowns, the key is, if it's strong, it must be inconsistent to use, look at junkrat, he's annoying sure, but is he broken? Not really, his damage is really inconsistent
somewhere in around 8:03 i thought "doesn't the game provide a practice range"?
Rein just footstooled hog
top 3 hardest heroes imo Tracer, Ball, Doom
Cold take: Shooting bots is not going to help you if you stand still or don't also practice good strafing.
Why does brig not fit into brawl despite being a close range melee character? It seems like that's what she was designed to do
I love practicing aim in quick play, I'll play with friends and I feel like an aim god
Flats don’t flatter yourself. We all know that Samito is public enemy no. 1 on the Brig subreddit. He cries about her so much. 😂
My fave support to play is brig, while only being gold, her whip doing 80 dmg was crazy. Most support players are absolutely delusional though
YOOOO for the hardest hero's to play in overwatch I said Wrecking ball, widow, tracer.
Tbf an eat or shield counters a lot of ults as well
I feel like it's fairer when a tank does it, both since they generally need those abilities to keep themselves alive on the frontline, and because there's only one tank who's often also the center of the enemy team's attention, so their abilities are often a good bit easier to bait out or avoid.
Supports can be a lot subtler with their smaller hitboxes and quieter movement, there's two at once, and they tend to have better tools to reactively support teammates that aren't already using them for cover, so they can kinda pop in out of nowhere and then negate a pretty massive amount of effort.
Plus, eats and shields only do so much - can't eat beams or things behind you, and shields eventually break and are also directional. Enough healing, paired with enough invulnerability, counters nearly everything.
I think Ram could be put in poke after his buffs potentially? He has more damage on his M1 now!
He is still useless in a poke map against poke enemies
Just put the everlong music in and you gof a meme
I wish I could grab that old clip of mine but it’s an overwatch one clip from gears and years ago I had probably like a million ping because I was so laggy that I was teleporting constantly like I was on the cart but it would fling me back to spawn then back to the cart so it was an inf health junk that pushed the cart and wouldn’t die then i CRASHED THE GAME because I was so laggy lmao wasn’t just my game but everyone thought I was gonna get banned
Bamked beans
when flats was talking about the devs, trying to do something about the burst healing and burst damage, the first thing that came to my mind was mauga. After all that, they decided to add mauga to the game in his current state. Without an ana in the picture, i can easily say, that nothing can kill that hero. his survivability wasily surpasses old hog, even 2x. And the damage he does annihilates any tank at medium range too.
Mauga definitely has a Hog problem where his inherent design issues mean that sliding his numbers up or down will either make him completely dogshit or way too broken
Well, junkrat kinda hard couters mauga... (having high burst + a bit of mobility is what counters him)
@@maxchess6734 I think junkrat gets shred due to his humongous hitbox
@@vivekranjan4614 not really : stay mid-range and whenever he charges on you, mine jump away: he can't do anything (you obviously lose the 1v1, but if you frontline, you can easily get healed)
Also, ult farm goes brr

Not gonna sugar coat it →★↓↘2
well the face is kiriko now so.. 😂
It hurt my brain to see the comments from the TikTok supports. Brain rot.
Yeah... They make me embarrassed to be a support player... they are definitely bronze heal bots who every game are typing dps diff or tank diff.
Some of them are coming into this comment section so the rot is spreading....

I will always say junkrat has the highest skill ceiling in the game.
While he is up there , genji and doom fist are unrivaled in terms of skill celling one tricking dooms and genjis are pretty much the only people that can maximize value out of those heroes
2:40 seems like he jumped right when the hog died, so it kinda knockbacked him up in the air? 🫠
I used to play OW when it came out like in 2016, i played it for a couple of years, only to restart playing OW2 something like one year ago. I noticed that new supports have abilities (things that you charge in something like 10 seconds) that can totally cancel enemies ULTIMATES. As a support main, I really don't like the fact that kiriko can, with a simple ability, nullify Dva's ultimate, or Rein's ultimate, or JunkerQueen's ultimate, or God's know how many other ultimates. Neither should Bap be able to just go like "that's what you get for trying to hitting me with your ultimate, literally an IMMORTALITY FIELD". While in OW you were able to save your team from an enemy ult, as a support, pretty much, only sacrificing an ult (like Lucio or Zenyatta). Nowdays what's even the reason to play this supports, when I can play a dps disguised as a healer that has every 10 seconds an ability that can destroy a tank ultimate
Footstool Combo for Rein pls
I like how ppl say Support isn't op like they're talking as if it was 6 seasons ago
"Only 10 damage on brig" try giving 10 damage to genji dash and see what happens to the game.
Is this the mii creator music?
8:20 ish so real I used to do that as widow in gold and then I realized it was just not good for actual practice I'm now dia so yk now that much better but yk at least I'm not gold anymore
I think actual stuns should give you like 30% damage reduction not including sleeps
i was just talking about this with someone. tank passive should be something like damage reduction while cc'd
pretty sure i was in the game where illari got a 3kill. i was on the opposite team and my dps were so annoying.😭
ive wondered for a while now if the game would be in a healthier state if immor field was baps ult…
I stopped being a support main and became a dps main cause support feels very unfair to play. So many cooldowns that are fast and can stop or nullify certain ults and key abilities to save their team. Suzu, Life Grip, petal platform, Healing Pylon, Illari leap, Immor, regen burst, boop, whipshot, sleep, nade, etc etc. If it were ults that'd be fine, but no. Also, before salty support mains come after me, yes, these abiliies can stop certain ults and key abilities. That may not happen in Bronze and Silver but higher they definitely can. A few key abilities for example are soldier rockets, sourjoun railgun and most tank abilities.
Lucio gigabuff when?
Honestly I feel like the reason supports got overbuffed to this point is because of low and mid range ranks being full of tanks and DPS players that would play like they are trying to speed run going 0-10
So supports needed that buff just to keep them alive for any time at all
But now that overwatch 2 has gotten over that initial wave of new players who don't know what they are doing from the start of the f2p model they should really work on leveling things out across all roles
I mean Kiriko and bap did use EVERTHING, maybe the enemy team should have killed one before blasting ults (as if that’s possible lmao). IMO Dmg needs buffs, supports don’t need their passive. Supports should go down first but as of lately they got too many escape options. Honestly giving anti made to some dmg dealers would shake the meta so hard.
My aim training is playing pokemon need to keep that aim laser sharp
I agree with the support takes however I find it so annoying when people talk about the support role as a whole and call it OP when its *mostly* bap, illari and kiri. lets be honest if someone calls lucio, mercy or moira op these days, theyre just coping.
I just have a big problem with the generalization of it. The amount of shittalking i get for just playing support these days made me just swap to dps entirely. Its insufferable
The only thing I think is unfair about mercy is Rez persisting without LOS after the start animation. It’s annoying that an ability so valuable with the potential to win games instantly is so forgiving. I hate when they act like it’s skilful too, like, all you did was move behind a wall. But yeah, it’s mostly the characters you named that are the problem, Ana included.
It's cus of some passionate individuals like the ones of the *cough* mercy mafia . Someone could come with a decent take then get blasted by one of them , after that people start to develop hatred for all support players . It's of course not fair but when hate is reciprocated by hate it just all boils over . Lucio mains are universally loved tho
@@mubashiralsami8755 to be completely honest here, theres more people shitting on some "mercy mafia" than actual people that are for lack of a better term "vocal" about mercy. As a former mercy main myself i just roll myself everytime that gets mentioned. there is more people hating on mercy and/or mercy players than actual mercy players, much less mercy players that talk at all.
7:50 How to get better aim? Don’t take this advice from me but I play nothing but Total Mayhem and Practice Range whenever I’m loading in
Just play the character
Like literally, you form skill from repeating the same task so many times it clicks
I swear people think that just because something is working as intended, doesnt mean its op, just because its bieng used for its intended purpose, doesnt mean that you should be able to counter 4 ults at the same time with one button, like lamp or suzu. thats their intended purpose, that doesnt mean its purpose is fair or fun
i'm sorry... did flats just say if they have a widow, go kiri?!?! #luciomafia
4:16 "Tank refuse to switch". For f sake, i switch 24/7 but my DPS and supports cant do it. It's like they are all one tricks that cant play any other dps/support hero. While tanks have to master all tank heroes. Maybe its your problem that you cant adjust as DPS or support to your tank or enemy comp.
It should be mandated that every support main play tank.
Bullying other widows off of widow so that there can only ever be one true widow.
tiktok is the only place where you can just get crucified for saying full blown ults shouldn't get negated by normal ass E abilities
I'm not saying Supports are not OP, but that is not just a support thing:
DVA Matrix
Genji Deflect
Sigma Kit
Sombra Hack
etc
@@Shexe.yea but 4 of those example need to be proactive unlike support e which are mostly reactive
@@Shexe. that's true but at the same time those are usually some specific interactions, it's different from universal intangibility, and also you have to eat/deflect an ult before it hits, suzu can negate shatter at any moment as long as kiri herself is not stunned
@@perseusapollon1926 Literally all of those are reactive. You're reacting to the Ult being used and countering it.
I mean, I wouldn't want the game to be played with Ults not having any counterplay. And supports are simply the most reliable way to help your teammates not die because someone pressed Q.
Gotta love when supports are allowed to have one shot combos but tanks and dps aren't.
I'd say the 2nd hardest hero is echo widow just requires aim while echo and tracer just die with poor movement
I have my doubts about the burst healing and burst damage changes coming to OW, mostly because of the 'fun' aspect of it. Sure, it's not fun to get deleted off the face of the Earth by a Hanzo arrow or a junk mine, but then again... DELETING someone is incredibly fun. It's like popping a balloon! Same goes for healing, the emotional reward you get from bringing your tank back from the brink of death is incredibly satisfying, as it should be. I am hopeful, but I fear that lowering all of this could result in a game that is, overall, more bland to play as things will be more dependant on consistent damage over time, dragging out engagements, etc.
