It's an interesting concept basing it on trash for speed running, but most guilds aren't min maxing at 99 parses, and speed running. We have t6 content on farm but aren't playing at a level where this comp is the best. I appreciate just having a raid that has some synergy, amd so long as we're clearing raids reliably that's enough for me.
Prot Pally should be the only S tier class. Not enough degrees of difference between Lock, Fury, Arcane mage across the broad landscape of raid environments. They (the dps) should all be A tier with Feral tank. Arcane mage should have the highest ceiling with complete support and ideal kill times or innervates on trash to reduce drinking downtime but they also fall way harder than fury warrior or lock without support, Fury warrior is highly gear dependent and requires moderate-high raid support between buffs and high skilled tanks for positioning, Warlock is slightly behind the two (or at least mages) in terms of overall DPS (boss+trash) but requires the least support and you can realistically stack in your comp more than mages (support) or fury warriors (gear). HPriest is at least B. Theoretically, there probably is enough HPS with 3 resto shamans; however, HPriest covers up human error too well. Even on NOOBs speedrun world record you still had people butt pulling trash and they only get more valuable the worse your guild is or the more raid damage you take. Frost is F grief tier- Disc is probably C tier or D tier. Aff, not including sunwell, could be like B or C- pretty much only bring one if you want caster parses. BM goes up to A tier if we include Sunwell in T6 but if we are just talking about P3.5 and 4 I get where you're coming from. I enjoyed you're video and agree on a lot of the list!
mage: i switched to firespec, bc i was bored of arcane. and as u said: with arcane i was in top 3 of raid-dmg, while with fire i am doing less overall dmg now. gear is comparable. i have 4x T6 for both specs. not to mention fire makes the most threat. So i play around with fire a bit to see the diff. and go back to arcane again.
As a main holy paladin doing weekly speedruns I agree with the placement, it's more for utility , you just won't compete with others but those 9k holy lights are appreciated at the right moment.
So, I did some calculations with some pieces of gear but I’m not sure if I’m doing them 100% correctly, I ended with the badge vendor dps bracers adding 64.45 dps, does that sound right?
Feel like you are not giving hunters enough credit. You look at Encounters + Trash when you argue that hunters somehow should be in the same category as ret or combat rogue. The fact that hunters are able to keep up in speedruns overall damage just shows how hard they actually pump on bosses, and if you isolate to only look at bosses then hunter is king on most bosses. Hunters should be rated A tier Holy Priest is way too low, atleast B tier since I always want 1 holy priest in my raids. They are by far the healer that can output the most overall healing and the best DPS increase you can give to a raid is by going from 16 DPS to 17 DPS and cutting a healer. The standard setup for the fastest runs are 1 HolyPriest, 2 resto sham, 1 resto druid, 1 holy pala. Disc is nowhere to be seen. Elemental shaman should be ranked higher for the simple fact of Bloodlust. You cannot put them side by side with frost mage.

I used his stat prio chart of 1 int=1.1 dps
is resto druid just never brought to TBC raids ?
EDIT: scratch that i didnt finnish the vid, LOL, but, you never bring more than 1 i guess?`
You could. Not optimal tho.

Definitely selling hunters short.
I feel like bm hunters will be kings in phase 5 again, purely because of their single target capabilities and how long the fights are
@@World_of_Chigurh true, but for many guilds brutallus will be a roadblock, that's where hunters will shine I guess
