How To Manually Create A Contact In HubSpot

Not all contacts are imported or fill out a form from your website. New prospects may call in or stop by the office. Either way, you will need to get them into HubSpot by manually creating a contact. This video shows you how.

In this video, we show you how to manually create a contact in your HubSpot CRM. Check it out. First, make sure that you are logged in to your HubSpot portal, and then in the main navigation, go to your contacts list and then come over to the right side and click Create Contacts. You wanna make sure that you start with entering an email. Really, anyone that you're trying to market to or you would like to have in your HubSpot CRM, they should really have an email address. From there, start entering as much information as you have. If you click here, you can customize the properties for your organization that appear here on the Create Contact screen. So, for this example, we created a custom property and put it right here under Home Clinic. Again, make sure that that email address is there. You do not wanna have contacts in your HubSpot CRM that don't have email addresses attached to them. You'll never be able to do very much with them. They'll just be taking up space in your HubSpot CRM. When you're ready with all the information, click Create Contact and HubSpot will take you directly to the contact record of the contact that you just created. Any missing information that you would like to add, go ahead and put that in here and you should be all set.
